So should I be posting with my main account? I do have a "pregen" alias, however that will be in use here shortly in my Emerald Spire game, so I suppose I could create a second Pregen alias...

Ok so ever since that pain in the ass dwarf cook almost roasted Ibid and Finarin's bacon, I have been dying to try a Alchemist. So I have been reading up and I am unsure of this:

To learn or use an extract, an alchemist must have an Intelligence score equal to at least 10 + the extract's level.

I have an 8 Intelligence

Alchemist Extracts Prepared (CL 1st)

1st—cure light wounds, shield
Extracts Known detect undead, jump, reduce person, true strike
Statis tics

So how do I have these Extracts?

Hey there GM Silbeg... I've just been reading over my character sheet, should my "pustular" trait have helped me when eating those apples, or is the drunkenness just a sickened-like condition?

Yeah, it should have. Retcon is ok.

Just a note for Lufien - Unless you want that particular alias to always be named "Lufien's Pregen Rita Bigbad" you should take the Rita Bigbad part out. Or just go all in like Chuffy :)

Just a note for all... remember that you are GOBLINS. So, perhaps Poog will replace one of his normal super-fantastic-fabulous spells with a Remove Sickness... for himself... but might not think it is worth it for the others.

Or, perhaps he just is a creature of habit... Zarongel always grants him the current set of spells, and they've served him well!

Either way, these are your characters... play 'em as such. But play them as goblins, not good-two-shoes Longshank Pathfinders ;)

Oh, in case I didn't say so earlier... the normal PFS PvP rules are relaxed for this module. And, since conditions, including death, do not carry through, as long as you hit three encounters, you can get your 1xp. If the group gets to finish the adventure, you get your 1PP. (I'll probably just award full benefits regardless, as long as you survive the min # of encounters. You are currently at 1 total).

What GM talk about? Chuffy always ask for free ride. Chuffy not expect help, but then maybe Poog not get help when he ask Chuffy. Maybe Poog get closer look at dog slicer instead. Very close look.

I have possible dumb, two-part question, and I'm sure one of you fine gents can answer it. Do I have to pick a character to apply this We Be Goblins chronicle to at this time, or could I wait and apply the chronicle to a character at a later date? The problem is, if we are not applying this chronicle to the new toons we are making for the confirmation, I don't really have any other toons to apply it to.

You have to pick a character for reporting purposes. It could be a brand new one, though. Then you will have another new character to play with.

Dude! How did we aggro (what I have to assume is) the entire ship's complement of baddies? Or is that just your favored style of ship-board combat, Mr. Silbeg?

So, in the module there is a 25% chance (per encounter) that any encounter will wake up Vorka. I rolled an 08 on the first one. So, she woke up, cast her buffs, and opened the door for Lord Longtongue to go out.

Then, she climbed up, and opened the door for Cuddles.

It is actually written into the module! :D

Here's the funny thing... in 3 of the previous 5 times I ran this, the players decided to roast the horse. This takes some time (starting a fire, etc), so they also ended up, eventually, getting everything thrown at them. However, in those times, they were on the ground when the swarm hit them by surprise... they were in a far worse position than you are (at least at certain points).

And, you have to admit, Gunari's plunge into the hold was humorous! At least I didn't have the entire crew of the Throaty Mermaid come after you at once! :D

Ha! All good. It wasn't a complaint, I just wasn't sure where we went wrong. ;-)

And I loved Gunari's plunge into the bowels of the ship. It made for a more difficult but far more exciting encounter.

If we weren't goblins I'd be shouting all kinds of strategies (like lead the bats to Vorka) or "heal this gobbo and get her back in the fight". However, such coordination is ungobliny. Besides, how often can you do a risk free TPK?

Heck, this module is one that if you don't TPK, you sometimes think you've done something wrong!

Glad you are all having fun. There is definitely a luck factor in this one. But, as goblins, you can make your life more difficult (I'll tell you something when you are all done that will make you groan!)

Chuffy - If you can finish off the frog, I can heal the other Rita and then we can both start booking it up to vorka...

I think the frog will get another round on me... and I think that'll be all she wrote for Chuffy Līckwøund until I get a potion down my throat! If he misses, then stay until I hit (to provide the flank) and then be off with you!

Since it is pretty much over, I'll let you in on the secret that cost you the battle...

The waxed paper package that Chuffy has in his pocket contains licorice candies... six of them. Eating one would have cured you of your sickness! The 4 points of damage Chuffy lost would have been enough to have killed Lord Longtongue.

This is not the first time I've seen this happen... one of my tables at GenCon Chuffy ate all the candy himself... leaving nothing for the others... and it cost them (they TPK'd as well).

At least you are all going down in goblin fashion!

Huh! Two things as I read back over:

- I took "wax-paper-sealed package" to mean a scroll tube with a scroll in it and sealed with wax.
- I had a post in there where I handed it to Mogmurch (hoping he would read it and shame himself), but the must have gotten eaten by the Paizo server gremlins or accidentally in one of my preview edits. Oops!

So yeah, I was trying all the potions, but thought that the treats were actually a scroll that Mogmurch had. Very goblin like to get so confused. ;-)

I remember trying to identify something, but did make the check. Was that the candy? Apparently goblins don't get sweets. Who knew?

No, that was the potion you tickled off of me!

So, John, are Finarin and Dorothil related? I didn't grok that from their backgrounds (well, you don't have a posted background for Finarin). Just curious. Noticed the family names were the same.

In any case, this module has been reported to the PbP Gameday folks! I'll get the chronicles out tonight.
