More like i wanna talk about Iron Gods at the moment. Players Guide just hit and I'm waiting to get my AP. I'm so excited to play this path. One of the other GM's in my RL group is going to run it since I do most of the game running to give me a break. No idea what i'm going to play in it.

Yeah, I'm excited about Iron Gods too. Always loved the old D&D module, Expedition to the Barrier Peaks, though I doubt I'll have much time to run it like I wanted to do. I've got a bunch of writing left to do with a freelance gig for a campaign setting that just finished up its Kickstarter and that is going to eat up my free time for the next few months.
wow, congrats. I wish i could do something that cool with my creative writing bachelors but I'm always too self conscious to submit anything.
I may try to run it as well here, though I'd probably wait a good month after my home game starts it so I don't get too spoiled.

Sorry, Demona doesn't have 10 gold. She'll have to resort to her resistances for now, unless the GM doesn't mind if she just arranges a trade with her starting set of clothes.
trade's fine. just make sure the trade's equal in value. any surplus is treated like a sale. i.e. winter clothes is worth 10 gp and you trade something worth 11 gp, you get 5 sp back.
The PRD says cold-weather gear just costs 8, which she has.

I guess this would now be a good time to address combat. There's usually two options:
1) Everyone waits their turn
a)Advantage - Battle is ordered and structured and there are no complaints that a character's action was misinterpreted.
b)Disadvantage - Battle takes far longer, since people usually have different posting habits and times.
2) Everyone posts their actions for that round, in whatever order, then the DM reconciles actions in initiative order
a)Advantage - Battle takes a lot less time.
b)Disadvantage - Requires contingencies, such as "I attack the zombie to Connor's left, unless he drops it first. If he does, then I charge the zombie approaching Merisiel."
@ demona - I intend to get the maps... eventually. After moving, I'm a little short on funds.
@ Arthrax - I'm used to option 2. "nearest" is good enough for designating your target. if nearest dies it goes to next nearest unless its too far.
I was about to suggest what my other GM does which is an initiative order like this goes:
Merisiel
Connor
Demona
Feinmeir
Zombie 1, 2, 3
Arthrax
Ikkis
Those in bold post your actions.
Afterward you would do your zombies and declare any deaths of monsters, then Ikkis and Arthrax go, post any other deaths and rinse and repeat.
Option 1.5

1.5 seems good. I also apologize in advance for every typo that I make from my phone. My breaks are also my only time to eat, so I often have to type while chowing down.

Alright. I think i got the hang of things. I'm learning as I'm going. Thanks all around for Feinmeir for providing us with these maps. They really do help a lot. I'll be posting links in the header area for the combat maps. Everyone should be able to control their little icon and do their own movements. I hope everyone's happy where i placed them.
I prefer the term "dragon glass." I hope one of you at least has valyrian steel. The Others as they're portrayed in the show make the best snow zombies though.

There is a perfectly good breastplate going un-used in there. It would be criminal not to refurbish it.
If it wouldn't have wasted resources, Demona would have been happy to flame away the ice for him, but she'll probably need all those flame jets before the day is out, and I've already wasted one. :)
So is Arthrax really prepared to sit Demona down for a talk on not stealing the Lady's jewels and/or stealing spoils from the rest of the party?

I'm really liking the polar opposite of Demona and Arthrax. It's a lot of fun reading.
In case anybody missed it, Demona has a bit of a volatile temperment. It comes from being a fire mage...and an orc!!
So does Demona use the spell Boiling Blood on herself? :P

Until she picks up a level of cross-blooded orc/Draconic sorcerer, she's an orc who isn't an orc...all the orc bits are just for show.
