Why hullo thar, happy to be picked.
I just need my traits really, is there anywhere where I can see the allowed ones in one place?
Also, how much of our starting gear do we buy with starting gold? All of it or can we freely take things like rope and backpack (within reason ofc, no 1000 feet of rope)
And lastly, I had forgotten that Arcane Archer has caster levels now, is it possible to alternate on which side I take the prestige levels or must they all be in one place? Taking Ranger to level 10 before doing Arcane Archer on that side would probably be better. Then I can get the level 10 ability of trapper ranger that lets me launch sleet traps with my bow...Every Ezreal worth his salt must have an Iceborne Gauntlet!
@Shyvana, yeah the penis pics would be endless!

Little Finder |

Welcome guys,
No you cant upload your own pics, but the pic you have is great anyway.
I shall put the traits up within the net day, they are found in the Shattered star players guide also, you can download it free from paizo.
As far as gear, max starting wealth. I will allow you to have a pathfinders kit for free, everything else must be bought unless your class, race or feats allow you to get things for free.
AS far as prestige classes go, you may prestige with both your chosen classes. I know this normally isn't allowed but I am ok'ing it. any prerequisites must be met by the class as if you were not gestated.
So class 1 prestige in to Prestige 1, any per-requisites must be met by things only for class 1. class 2 can not count towards prestige 1's prerequisites and visa verse.
everyone
What would you add or swap out to make your character more accurate to the concept? even if it is not cannon. IF you could have feats, items, skills form any class/race?
Let me know and we will discuss.
Also as you should know a lot of the AP is dungeon delve and non of you have trap sense as far as i can see. Up to you all if someone wants to do something about it or not. I wont force anyone to but I will be fair and give you heads up, on your various body parts be it lol.

Ezreal, the Prodigal Explorer |

Ezreal has trapfinding through the trapper Archtype (Giving up ranger spells in the process)
On the prestige classing, would that mean I would have to have atleast one wizard level on the ranger side to qualify for Arcane Archer? I guess I can just go Ranger levels on the wizard side while im leveling Arcane Archer on the Ranger side.
If im a Ranger 6 Wizard 1 on one side, and pure Wizard on the other side, do I add my wizard levels together in terms of saves, BaB and so forth? If no, id be better served getting atleast two Wizard levels on the Ranger side.
Man so many questions!
For equipment ill take the Pathfinder kit and spend all my 150 on making my Bonded bow composite +1 str. Can you refer me to a page containing the contents of a Pathfinder kit?
For adding / swapping, the only thing that really bothers me about the character is the fact that im using a longbow. If possible, id like it to be the gauntlet he uses. Would probably function something like, its a free action to draw my bow and the hand is always free for casting and picking up things.
Being able to make any Area Effect spell into a line for Essence Flux and Trueshot Barrage would just be the cherry on top.

Trundle |

Well, if I could actually make Trundle some kind of troll, that would be great, though obviously as-is a troll is just way to powerful to be a PC(though I imagine the plague kinda counters the regeneration, so he probably wouldn't have that).
Multiattack would be nice for the bite attack, but as is I have to wait till level 10 to pick it up, unless I get 2 claws somehow(which I can get with a feat, but I really just want the bite).
Also, a wall spell would be useful to along with entangle, but there are few options for that outside of arcane casters and that feels way off for Trundle(I was pretty iffy about the divine casting as well).

Little Finder |

Some good questions Ezreal, AS for the the 1 level of wizard ontop of ranger I woudl say no. Only two classes and up to two prestiges.
However, I will allow you to still go down the arcane archer route as it makes sense for Ezreal. As you are taking trapper to help with traps and loosing your ranger spells. Also This does mean that you MUST take the feats required for aracane archer first, over any other feats(& you must take any prerequisite feats for it.). Even if it wont help you straight away. This will slow down your progression with other feats but there has be some pay off.
AS for the making all AOE spells a straight line, that makes sense also, however it will effect less squares. so a 60ft cone will become a 30ft line only. Essentially halve the AOE allowed squares for each spell. UNTIL YOU TAKE THE feat that allows you to shape spells. in which case you will get the full 60ft back. Again there has to be a pay off.
Yes Trundle, no trolls. OK if you take the feat for the claws I will allow it be swapped for another bite, at your lowest attack bonus. However you must take this feat(& any prerequisite feats for it.) before any other feats and the level 10 feat will be changed to allow it to be used at your highest.
you get blade barrier at level six, I will allow that to be swapped out for an appropriate barrier spell that fits Trundle. You will gain that at 6 instead of blade barrier. (For this spell only, pick from any spell list, fluff can be changed.)

TRAITS FOR AP
Pathfinder Society Traits
The following traits are well suited to Pathfinders embarking
on the Shattered Star Adventure Path. These traits first
appeared in Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Faction Guide.
Beast of the Society (magic): A druid at the Grand Lodge
revealed to you secrets changing your form into that of an
animal. Whenever you use your wild shape class ability to
turn yourself into a Small or Medium animal, the effect lasts
for 2 hours per druid level instead of 1 hour per druid level.
Berserker of the Society (combat): Your time spent as a
Pathfinder has taught you new truths about the origins
of the your rage ability. You may use your rage ability for
3 additional rounds per day.
Blade of the Society (combat): The Society gave you
access to charts detailing the weak spots of hundreds of
humanoids and monsters. You gain a +1 trait bonus on
damage rolls from sneak attacks.
Defender of the Society (combat): Your time spent studying
the greatest warriors of the Society taught you new defensive
skills while wearing armor. You gain a +1 trait bonus to
Armor Class when wearing medium or heavy armor.
Exalted of the Society (faith): The vaults of the Grand
Lodge in Absalom contain many secrets of the divine powers
of the gods, and you have studied your deity extensively. You
may channel energy one additional time per day.
Greater Adept of the Society (magic): Months of
meditation and practice with the greatest spellcasters of
the Society have given you an increased capacity for arcane
knowledge. You gain one additional 0-level spell slot.
Havoc of the Society (magic): Through countless hours
studying vast libraries of arcane power, you have learned
how to cause greater damage to your foes. Whenever you
cast a spell that deals damage, you gain a +1 trait bonus to
the total damage dealt. This damage is considered force
damage regardless of the type of damage dealt by the spell.
Honored Fist of the Society (combat): You have studied
dozens of ancient texts on martial arts that only the
Society possesses, and are more learned in these arts than
most. You increase your ki pool by 1 point.
Maestro of the Society (social): The skills of Golarion’s
greatest musicians are at your fingertips, thanks to
the vast treasure trove of musical knowledge in the
vaults beneath the Grand Lodge in Absalom. Studying
this knowledge gives you the ability to use your bardic
performance an additional 3 rounds per day.
Stalwart of the Society (faith): The courageous powers of
Golarion’s ancient paladin orders are open to you thanks
to the Society’s records of heroic deeds. As a result, your
aura of courage class ability grants an additional +1 trait
bonus on saving throws against fear effects.
Tracker of the Society (combat): Thanks to your time as
a Pathfinder, you’ve mastered the art of tracking. You gain
a +1 trait bonus on initiative checks and a +2 trait bonus on
Survival checks made while traveling through any of your
favored terrains. This is in addition to any bonuses you
receive from your favored terrain class ability.

Trundle |

Blast Barrier
Hmm... this is actually pretty close, other then the exploding and concentration, but I can work with that. Of course it turns out it is a ranger spell(level 3) I missed. It actually kind of works flavor wise, just have to call it junk.
Anyways, the feat for the claws is a ranger style feat(only other why to get it is being a druid with wild shape or be a were-something) so I can't pick it up till level two normally.

Ezreal, the Prodigal Explorer |

Theres a metamagic feat for shaping spells? I did not know that!
I think ill take Havoc and Adept of the society. I would take Tracker, but the Infiltrator Archtype loses Favoured Terrain.
You didnt mention the part about my bow. Thoughts?
Pathfinder starter pack, where can I find it?
Languages...?

Little Finder |

Trundle, ok pick it up when allowed. good spotting.
Yes there is a metamagic feat, it requires a bit of fluff change, it is 'selective spell' it normally allows you to disclude an amount of targets from a spell. the fluff will be it changes the spell from cone to line. but you would lose the 'disclude targets' part. so you would gain the full length but you would not be able to 'miss' team mates and friendly's from the line.(if they would be in the AOE)
Ah I did miss the weapon bit sorry. OK it can be the gauntlet, however in order for it to be a 'free action' to change it to the bow style weapon you would have to take the quick draw feat. Other wise you would take as the usual standard action for swapping weapons. The bow style will have all the stats of the bow you chose. the gauntlet part, will be stats for a gauntlet from Armour (I will give you that it can do lethal damage for free, though).
Languages are Common, undercommon, Druidic + Damacian, Noxian, Kaladounian, Urtistanish, Kummungu, Yordle, Ionian & Umbian (shadow isle). You all get the language from where you are from, common & 1 other language from this list for free. The rest you gain as you normally would, this takes the place of starting languages for your characters, unless you happen to be able to gain more than 3 starting languages in which case you also gain the difference. (Druidic has the same rules as in pathfinder, you MUST be a druid to gain it.)

Trundle |

Pick up undercommon and kummungu for languages, largely because I can't find anything on where he is from, and those two just sounded good. I'm guessing for traits I'll pick up Tracker and Defender.
As for starting... guess I'm pretty much good to go now.

Little Finder |

or did you mean you didn't know where he is from?
don't worry about sticking to LoL Lore, in fact i would prefer it if you didn't and you added your own things to the characters as well. you guys are playing them so go for it.
you can decide where he is from and pick that language. Undercommon makes sense for him and trolls in general.

Ezreal, the Prodigal Explorer |

I know that real life may interfere with posting, even so, our grp seems rather slow at it. Ive tried to restrain myself, yet im half the posts so far :/
Just wanna know if this is a trend or just a matter of everyone RL being really busy at the moment.

Ezreal, the Prodigal Explorer |

I was having a look at the other group earlier and seem to recall Little Finder writing there, that they didnt need to wait for DM updates to keep posting and roleplaying. That hopefully applies to us as well :)
On an unrelated note, I hope noone minds me playing Ezreal slightly like a parody of most short, scrappy, male main characters from assorted Anime series.

Little Finder |

I do not expect it to remain this slow, I think combined RL stuff for us and especially me.
Thank you so much for your patience everyone. I have had some issues at home but I can get back up posting today. You have all been brilliant getting on with your roll playing and prepping. thank you. I shall have the main thread going again today.

Rokku |

Just a personal analysis, I kinda feel like starting PBP games by telling the players "talk among yourselves" is always a mistake. If they signed up the players did so because they're interested in the story idea you have, so delaying that is bad.
I have seen a LOT of PBPs die off very early because they just didn't get going. Probably the most important thing in PBP is starting fast and maintaining that momentum.

Little Finder |

Maybe the person who wrote the puzle is smarter than he thought his audience woudl be and made it match that way also. Or maybe he thoughtthey woudl be exactly that smart and come up with a hidden solution. Either way its great that players can take things in so many directions. makes for a better game that way. Good puzzling Ezreal.
