I'm creating an elf wizard. He has an alternate racial trait from the Advanced Race Guide, and a piece of mundane equipment from the Advanced Player's guide (assuming those are OK). What books are authorized for spell selection?
I should have him complete (at least a first draft) and the alias posted in the next 12 hours or so.

How does an archaeologist bard sound? As a concept, she's exploration-focused, and picks up rogue trapfinding after a few levels.
Short and sweet of her background is that she's a now-landless member of the Taldan gentry whose family has always had an interest in archaeology and exploration. She's an only child, and her parents died when she was just out of university, which forced her out onto the streets when debt-holders claimed the family estate. Given her exploratory bent, and the fact that she was newly homeless, she joined the Pathfinder Society several years ago. Recently, she's been feeling the need to see more of the world and jumped at the opportunity when the Society offered to send her to Magnimar.

SPECIAL ABILITIES
Blood of Dragons Long ago, your ancestors' blood mixed with that of dragons. Choose one of the following: gain a +1 trait bonus on Perception checks, gain low-light vision, or gain a +2 trait bonus on saving throws against effects that cause sleep or paralysis.
Bonus Feat Humans select one extra feat at 1st level.
Humanoid (Human) (Ex) You gain a +2 bonus on Bluff, Knowledge, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival checks when using these skills against humans. Likewise, you get a +2 bonus on weapon attack and damage rolls against such creatures. You may make Knowledge Skill checks untrained to identify such creatures.
Low-Light Vision (Ex) You can see x2 as far as humans in low illumination. Characters with low-light vision have eyes that are so sensitive to light that they can see twice as far as normal in dim light. Low-Light Vision is color vision. A spellcaster with low-light vision can read a scroll as long as even the tiniest candle flame is next to her as a source of light. Characters with low-light vision can see outdoors on a moonlit night as well as they can during the day.
Point-Blank Shot You can spend up to 6 stamina points to increase this feat's range by 5 feet for each stamina point you spent.
Skilled Humans gain an additional skill rank at first level and one additional rank whenever they gain a level.
Track (Ex) You gain +1 to Survival checks made to follow tracks.
Tracker of the Society Thanks to your time as a Pathfinder, you've mastered the art of tracking. You gain a +1 trait bonus on initiative checks and a +2 trait bonus on Survival checks made while traveling through any of your favored terrains. This is in addition to any bonuses you receive from your favored terrain class ability.
Two-Weapon Fighting You can spend any number of stamina points to reduce the penalty from Two-Weapon Fighting on attacks made with a weapon in your primary hand by 1 for every 2 stamina points you spent. This benefit lasts until the start of your next turn. You can't reduce the penalty below
Wild Empathy (Ex) You can improve the attitude of an animal. This ability functions just like Diplomacy check made to improve the attitude of a person. You roll 1d20+1 to determine the Wild Empathy check result. The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly. To use Wild Empathy, you and the animal must be within 30 feet of one another under normal circumstances. Generally, influencing an animal in this way takes 1 minute, but as with influencing people, it might take more or less time. You can use this ability to influence a magical beast with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2, but you take a -4 penalty on the check.
