Aye!
2nd class passengers
5) Clockwork. Old Faith. Humanoid. Stylized body. Knowledge. Ignoble.
I'm thinking said clockwork was fascinated by Jexen's sheer determination. Perhaps a scholar of some sort? Not overburdened with morals by the sounds of it, but likely will have the good sense to not make that obvious.

Background: This nameless clockwork only gained conscience a few weeks ago. He came to conscienceness with the discovery that his creator had died either during or immediately following the rituals for making a clockwork. He has no idea why he was made. He doesn't even know his name. You can grant him a name.
He grabs a few books from his makers desk before leaving, those subjects being the Folklore of the Old Faith, Medicine, and Nature. He's been studying them since he left, and they have awoken pockets of knowledge within him.
Once you have a name for him, I'll make a profile and bring him into the game.

Level up all done, except new language and grimoire spells. Anyone have suggestions for languages? Brinda has been travelling with Sköllji for a while, so dwarven might be an option. I'd be after something that makes sense.

Durnik Jonson |

I would take Knight, but I don't think it fits Durnik. He's a simple country boy at heart.
Juggernaut, on the other hand, does fit what I envision of him. I'll take that instead.
With that being said, here is my new choices for levelling up:
+1 str and will
Health increases to 24
Languages: Trollish
Powerful Fists
Unstoppable

Jexen the Aged |

I did consider knight and juggernaut, but really for Jexen, it was a choice between berserker and fighter. And he's just about kept his rage in check for now, so skill won out over psychotic frenzy.

So I am posting from work:
Apologies about not posting sooner, but I have been down internet wise for roughly a week, and will not have internet back up yet for a week or so.
This means that I haven't had internet for the last 4 days (as we had 4 days off at my work for the holiday).
It's been...an experience where I learned that I use the internet more than I thought I did.
With all of that being said, I will try to post from work as I can, but if I am in your game, please bot me as needed.
If I am running your game, please bear with me while I try to post when I can. Hopefully, sooner than better, but I want to be up front about this issue.
again, I apologize about the delay.

Hi folks, sorry for the lack of posting on my part, it's been a hectic time for me with lots of travel and work over the silly season. Over the next couple of days things will be largely returning to normal, so I'll be back on board from now on.

Durnik Jonson |

I am posting this to all of my games, so apologies if you see this multiple times:
Unfortunately, I have some bad news.
A combination of work-related stuff has lead to me having to take some time off from the forums. I am, in all honesty, going to need to be gone for several months, as I am going to be travelling for extended periods of time (weeks or more) and I'll likely not have good access to the internet.
As I am not someone who would want to have you all sit and wait for me here, I am going to be withdrawing/closing all of my open forum games.
I want to thank everyone who I have had the pleasure to game with over the last couple of years here, as I have immensely enjoyed my time on the forums, and hopefully, once my work stabilizes, I will be able to rejoin the community.
Thank you again for your time and energy, and I am sorry that I won't be able to keep things moving forward in any of the games that I am running.

Hey bookrat, I hear you on the level of engagement with the game, and put my hand up as one of the repeat offenders. For me, I have only just realised a week ago how much I've been avoiding all my pbps in general since I started really not enjoying a Pathfinder game I am in some months ago (player conflicts etc). I've since told the GM that I'd like to leave, and am in the process of withdrawing in a way that maintains some narrative sense and gives them time to find a replacement (I'm the cleric :/ ).
So apologies for the lack of consistent posting. You've run a great game, and I'm keen to continue at least to the end of the module if everyone seems keen. If not, I'll definitely consider moving across to one of your other ones if I find, as I hope to, that quitting this problem game increases my pbp motivation (i.e. I'd love to keep playing Brinda, but I don't want to bring across poor posting rates to one of your other games). I should know whether I get my mojo back in a week or so.
Apologies again.

Jexen the Aged |

I had my own set of delays recently, which didn't help.
I am more than happy to keep going with this campaign, at least to wrap up this module.
Bookrat, whether this campaign ends here, or after the module, I'd definitely look into either moving Jexen to one of your other campaigns, or coming up with a new character.
As you say, the rp in this campaign has been fantastic and no matter what, I hold that in high regard.
