Discuss! I want to hear any input you guys have for me. Character imbalances, encounter difficulty, plots threads that work, or don't. Anything at all that comes to mind.
About the gameplay post: Did we saw the "tendrilled monsters"?
About the game: sounds like a good challenge to DM. Together we have a big bunch of "abnormal" abilities, like flying, invisibility, near invulnerability (in the case of the sword) and whatnot, that makes us a very flexible group. But we (some) are low on HP.
I guess this will take some trial and error to learn how to play effectively.

Wow, so as a 3'4" small creature, Ludvig is actually the second largest character in the party!!! We can all ride Hrrm at the same time!

I was once into Warcraft
Never got into Warcraft. Suppose that has to do with not liking the RTS games it was based on. I did try Warhammer Online and enjoyed that before it was shut down. Recently, I started playing the F2P Runes of Magic.
I like smite but it hasn't been working well lately.
I'm very into Guild Wars 2, and lots of little indie local co op games.
I've been paying a lot of a game called Brawlhalla, which is a brawler like Smash Bros, but for the PC and I think much easier for new players to get into. It's very fun, and also has online multiplayer support.
I played GW2 a lot too but haven't in ages. I'll probably get back into it when heart of thorns comes out.
Is Brawlhalla on Steam? And how are the controls? I'm leery of fighter controls on the PC.
Also, High Feather has yet to make a move.
Brawlhalla is on steam yes. It's in beta right now, I got a beta version (that will run out one day) for free at a convention. $12 gets you the game permanently plus some in game currency for skin changes.
I really like the controls for PC, and it also supports XBox controllers. I actually like keyboard controls more than controller, but probably just because I am more used to keyboard than controller gameplay.
So there are betas still available? I'm at least interested.
Heh, I tried Warcraft for a while; the world is done well, but the quests all seem a bit samey after a while. I mostly tried it as a possible alternative to D&D Online, which I keep returning to despite it having gone downhill over the last few years; It's still good but the community has evaporated and I struggle to find groups to play with sometimes.
Other than that I play strategy games (Europa Universalis IV at the moment, but also Civilization IV, Victoria II, Crusader kings, Total War, etc.)
On another note, I am on holiday tomorrow until Friday; not sure if I'll have wifi access, so if I go quiet just DMPC Hrrm.
Good news: I have WiFi access, but I am on my kindle so I am a bit slow.
I have an operation tomorrow, I am hoping it will be in and out but they may want me to stay for up to 3 days. If I am not running my character, please DMPC.

Sorry. I missed the discussion page was online already. The encounters are fun, though I am curious as to why we have so many fungal creatures appearing in the woods, especially those that are independent from most direction.
As to other games, I play Star Wars the Old Republic off and on. My latest addiction has been Pillars of Eternity, which is a spiritual successor to the Baldur's Gate series. Awesome game if you like the isometric 6 man party style games. Normal roleplaying wize, this is my first Pbp. I'm in a Rifts game (from Palladium games), and I'm running a inRL tabletop AP for Rise of the Runelords. The latter has been somewhat slow going, since my group is on the investigative part in the second book. Their deductive skills leave much to be desired.

Surrounded by one of the seven magical forests, The Crying Woods, it is the epitome civilization surrounded by its polar opposite: a forest that hates all animal life and signs of civilization. The Big Float has been suffering lately with various difficulties in importing all the necessities of life for 70,000 citizens. Can an adventuring group from Lakeview Passage of the Fence Level make a difference for their neighborhood and even the city at large? Only time and adventure will tell.

We currently offer 8 permanent ongoing games and many other pickup games for those members who want more. Play by post occurs on our self-made java programmed message boards with their own dice mechanisms, and auto-archiving features. We offer a Message Board called The Giggling Ghost where our gamers can chat "in character" and head out for various “pick-up” adventurers. There is also a private board that allows the players to talk and discuss just about anything in an "out of character format." These boards helps us create that all important sense of community and friendship which is a part of any good group of gamers. Also added is a board called The Catacombs where all character shopping occurs and The Black Genie Center where all Woldians may go to help develop new original material for our campaign world.
