The area under the bridges is filled with dust and cobwebs, obviously unused by the kobolds. There is a single trail leading from the tracks to the entrance of the dragon's lair, as if kobolds on occasion walked to and from that entrance.
The dragon responds to Alset, "Leave? I'm the deity here! You should leave, bodiless voice of the caves. Where are my minions? Calling all faithful, to arms!" he shouts to his dead worshipers.
Ood returns to the tracks to tell them what he saw.
The dragon makes no moves to attack, waiting on his nonexistent worshipers to do his dirty work for him.

Alset fails to explain what the situation is to Odie. Odie may, in fact, think that a butterfly is lost in the quarry based on Alset's poor hand communication skills. But, surely, Odie heard me identify the creature as a red dragon.
This may actually be a good thing! Go Odie, go!
Alset, remains hidden and replies. "I give your smallness one more chance to vacate the quarry and leave your pit, tiniest of red dragons. You don't know your peril. I am HIGH above you in both skill and experience. Leave now and never come back!"

Out of curiosity, I’ve been reading about the Climb skill. It looks like it’s probably either DC 15 or 20. So if you succeed, you can move at quarter speed (7.5 ft correct?). You can raise the DC by 5 to move at half speed getting 20 or 25. If the hole is square, than you can climb in the corner which lowers the DC by 5 back to 15 or 20 which you could pass either. So, that would be one move action which gets you 15 ft up. I think another move action would be required to actually get out but I’m unclear weather you would need another climb check or not. The transition from climbing to not climbing is confusing to me.

Ood walk quietly down the the tunnel, but he can quickly tell that this shaft of the mine was unused by the kobolds or dragon. Dust, cobwebs, and other signs of uninhabitation follow the tracks. The path does lead off to closed-off tunnels, where veins of metals were excavated. This must have been where the actual mining was done in most recent times. Near the end of the tracks he can see a few shafts that are still operational, workers tools and carts strewn about haphazardly.
Alset and Odie crack open the crates and reveal 48 bars of iron, 16 bars of silver, 10 bars of cold iron, 4 bars of Elysium bronze, 6 bars of fire-forged and frost-forged steel, 12 bars of mithral, 5 bars of siccatite, 6 bars of silversheen, 1 bar of singing steel, and 8 bars of adamantium.
You can find these HERE. Remember, the gnome said you can keep as many bars as you can carry. In GM terms that means enough to craft whatever armor/weapons you want, with a bit extra if you want to sell it, but not enough to become a millionaire and retire to a castle in the mountains somewhere.

I wanted to let the GM decide whether he wanted to allow all that, but this is Stonewall's priority list.

Hey, adamantium was always there! In your defense it's last in the list, not in alphabetical order like most of the rest.
Stonewall is able to grab enough for all 4 things he wants to craft. Light weapons take up much less material than the tower shield. The dragon's corpse yields some dragonhide See the same special materials page as before, but since the dragon was small-sized, there's not much to work with.
Odie grabs some adamantium.
Mud debates about what kind of material to make his slingstones out of, but knows he'll probably grab enough for 5 small stones of every single type. He also looks at his tiny hands and wonders if he can carry any bars of metal at all.

Alset hasn't had time to consider his choices and research adamantium arrow heads, etc. I assumed that when the gnome loaned us a cart and said "all we could carry" that he meant all we could carry in the cart. Is this correct? If so, then Mud's problem is somewhat lessened.
Alset speaks to Mud, "Mud, I think I can carry some for you. I'm not sure I'll need all that I can carry, anyway. And, we do have the ore cart."

"My heavy load is 800 and I can push 4000. Carrying all this back will not be an issue team."
Today I learned that Odie could carry a full-grown cow around and it would only slow him a bit. Don't we have a bag of holding as well?

Honestly I forgot what I said about carrying limits. 4k sounds great.

Alset and Odie both might be interested in mithral armor, so keep that in mind.
Stonewall sees Ood standing to the side not paying much attention to the ore. He grabs some cold iron, Silversheen and Adamantium and heads over to him. He hand him the ire and says, ”At least have Forthingr work you some Shuriken and maybe a small sword or some such, in case we run into another creature like those bag people. Or don’t, I’m sure he would buy the ore off you so you can build and furnish your school.”
Feel free to brush off Stonewall’s unsolicited advice, he wouldn’t understand someone not interested in all this ore, especially a dwarf.

"Ah, this shirt is getting rather worse for wear. I could do with an upgrade to a mithral breastplate. So, Stonewall, how long do you think it would take someone to turn all this raw material into an adamantium longsword and a mithral breastplate?"
Concerning weapons, this is useful talk, I guess I can endure a bit more. Much more of this though and I'm going to just start the long journey up and let the rest try and keep up.

"Ah, well, as it stands now, quite a while. We will probably be pushing Forthingr pretty hard. But after my forge is done, I'll be able to hire an assistant and work quite quickly! And since I would naturally prioritize our own works, we wouldn't have to wait for someone to finish other peoples jobs as well. I'm hoping to be able to..." Stonewall continues to expound upon his plans for his forge forgetting that this is unrelated to Odie's original request for information.
Stonewall also inspects the bodies of the Kobolds to see if they have any equipment worth salvaging.
I was rereading the dragon death post and I'm not clear on whether the boxes and crates ARE the treasure horde or if they are in addition to other treasures. If there are additionals, then stonewall catalogs those.

They are in addition. There are the boxes crates, and there is the massive pile of coins in the center of the room.

Mumbling to himself about doing grunt work, Odie pushes the cart as close as he can, then using the shovel he brought almost 2 years ago, begins to shovel the coins into the cart. Unless there are any better options to get the coins in the cart.
