Ood cymbal-crashes his fists into the zombie's skull, popping the creature into gooey bits.

Remembering that these Berrymusk zombies aim to disarm instead of slam, the one nearest Stonewall attempts to disarm him. The other two lunge at Odie and Ood.

Three meaty thuds and the whir of an arrow echo throughout the cavern. Almost simultaneously, all four zombies fall to the ground, dead.

2400 XP.

The room is full of various mining supplies in boxes, crates, and barrels. The space is moldy and smells of mildew. Smaller, less violent plants grow from cracks and crevices in the walls and floor. Yellow berry juice is splattered all over everything, including yourselves.

Alset uses the wand of CLW seven times to heal Ood (20), Stony (12), and Odie (19). There are nine charges remaining.

Not sure how many of these restoration potions Odie will need. How much Int. did he lose? <The GM will need to roll for 25% hallucination.>

Alset begins to dig up the roots of the yellow musk creeper plants, chop them into small pieces with his nifty dagger, and burn them. "Destroying the root is the only way to get rid of these permanently."

Do we need to burn the zombies as well? If so, we'll move them to a fire pit and do them all at once.

Alset senses that Odie isn't quite himself yet and gives him another lesser restoration potion out of Odie's own backpack.

"Hey big guy, drink this. You'll feel more like yourself."

Alset questions the skill and wisdom of the maker of these potions. "Idiots!"

Alset pulls out the last of the restoration potions and has Odie drink it as well.

Ood searches for a good method of removing plant remnant, and in the absence of better options pulls out a water flask and uses the water. Ood replaces the likely empty flask, looks a at his companions and says, “it worked, could have worked better though. What do we have here?”

Odie and Ood see nothing out of the ordinary. The mine is in good shape, though these two side-rooms were used as storage and are not very informative as to the state of the rest of the quarry/mine.

The yellow berries are different than the ones the gnome was eating, correct.

Ood and Alset, with much burning, digging, and washing, are able to fully remove all parts of the plant so that none will grow again. You wonder just how a plant grew here without any sunlight, but then remember this plant also grew roots in solid rock and is sentient and then made zombies so it's best not to think too hard about it.

As you walk under the bridge, you see a ledge to the east, where two shining glass bottles sparkle in the air before crashing down on top of the party, shattering and spraying green acid. One splatters against Stonewall, splashing Odie, Alset, and Mud with acid. The other crashes on Odie, a few droplets of caustic liquid hitting Stonewall in the face. The stench of ammonia fills the air, your clothes and skin smoking.

Odie roars in anger at being burned. Unable to see a quick path to climb up to them, sprints full tilt up the track or path towards them.

Climbing in DnD is dumb. 50' would take me 5 rounds if I passed my climb check each time, ugh. Instead I run up the spiral, maybe they'll be dead or gone by the time I get there, but I'll 100% set off some traps. haha!

Technically, the bomb and splash is not a burst effect. Bursts refers to spells and spell-like abilities, like a fireball. Alchemist bombs are like throwing acid flasks, so a splash weapon.

You'll also be out of the range of their bombs, which is nice. Also you can only "run" in a straight line, so I just double moved you instead.

You cannot see them, but I'll say you've readied an action to shoot when they pop their heads over.

Two kobolds creep up and peer over the edge of the cliff. One has burn marks over his snout (North) and the other has mulitcolored stains all over his arms and fingers (south).

"They're still here!" the burned one hisses in Draconic.

"Yes, but the big one is running toward us!" the stained one says.

In common, the burned kobold shouts, "Leave our quarry, now!"

If you respond in the negative or make no motion to leave, they hurl their bombs at you. You can't get a free turn in, is what I'm saying. I'm assuming you guys are not going to retreat, but you can't buy time for Odie to get around unless you all turn around and "leave."

Alset pulls Stony and Ood back up the track. He whispers to them, "We'll distract them so Odie can make his charge, then we'll take them out. Move but not too quickly. When we get around to the bridge, I'll try to sneak across. This slightly damaged elvin cloak should hide me."

Since Stony went with plan B, Alset steps out of sight and slips the elvin cloak hood over his head and uses stealth to step unnoticed back into attack range so he can release another arrow without being seen.

Are the 2 kobolds on the same level as the bridge across the pit?

Muddy Marines:
We need a strategy. Since the kobolds are on the same level as the bridge, Odie can continue his rush to destroy them while Ood and Stony follow, maybe. I was thinking that the pillar would be a good place from which to snipe with my bow, but it might be best if Alset stays back and snipes from below. What are you thinking? How can we use Odie's unstoppable rush to kill to our advantage?

Yes. The bridge runs straight across to the ledge. The tracks circling are all that slope downward.

Odie, not having gone into a full RAGE yet, has the presence of mind to at least glance at what they're setting up, while he continues his charge.

Odie can reach the badies by the end of this turn, so if he thinks they'll cut the bridge out from under him, he'll get between them on the rock. Otherwise, he'll stop when he gets in striking distance.
