Don't have a whole lot to say right now because I want to get on to the gameplay thread in short order.
It would be folly to put all OOC talk here, since many times it's directly pertinent to an action or something and switching between threads would just make things more confusing. But I figure we'll use this for broader or more meta stuff, like big rules issues or quick senses of the group on when we're ready to move on.
Feel free to socialize if you'd like as well. I'm told normal people enjoy that sort of thing, but normal people frighten me and therefore I prefer not to study them too closely.
I am terrible at socializing unless there's some kind of historical esoterica or horrific atrocity involved. How are you?

An elf asked me how I'd like spells tracked. :)
For prepared casters, just put your loadout in a spoiler at the bottom of your profile. If you burn slots instead, you can just do the slot countdown. So if your sorcerer burned half his first level spells, he might have 2/4 first levels.
I think that'll be minimally fussy.

By the way, if Yridhrennor and Falfaeran's antics are too much, I can tone them down. I get that they're a bit different from the typical champions of righteousness.

Btw, I love the other characters! I thought the blind oracle curse was pure todture when I read it in the books, but it's so neat! Just from an RP perspective, it's totally cool. And, I couldn't work out how the Shield Champion was supposed to work, but I really dig Staeve Rojerz's take on it. And, a guy who is possessed by the spirits of his slaughtered clan? Wow. And, I really dig Saito's spunky young anime-hero with secret tortured past vibe. Actually...this game kinda feels like an anime in my head---probably because I watch far too much of that stuff and am working on my 3rd monster (I'm not 13, I swear.. I just spend the majority of my life around the little guttersnipes.... And now I sound like a creeper)

There was a PC who I think would get on very well with your merry band. I've sent a PM asking if he'd like to come in.
If amenable, he'd probably just have been elsewhere in the plaza, or near to you but not noticed in the chaos, and then ends up in the basement with you. Easy enough so early.
That's a pity, I was intrigued by her character concept. Could have been interesting. Oh well. Look forward to the new arrival.

Sorry if I briefly messed up anybody's campaigns page. I went in to prune out the posts from non-character aliases without knowing that would move the game to your inactive pile. Everything should be restored to normal now.

Howdy Galin. Wow, looks like the divine caster/fighting type is a popular one for this. Who'd have thought. Luckily we all seem like we'll play very different. It's also good as it doesn't look like we have a specialist healer.
Would anybody object to using Roll20 to handle battle maps? It is totally free to use. I know it's not something I laid out in the recruitment and all, and it is one more sign-in to handle, but I tried it tonight and it appears much easier to manage than the Google Drawing I was going to use. This would be strictly for the maps and only relevant during battles. The actual gameplay, rolls, etc would take place here. When necessary, I'd also have a map key somewhere handy here since I don't think I can just put text boxes up over there.
From your end it would look much the same, except far prettier. I'd have a link to the map up at the top of the thread. I could even set up the credentials so you can move your own PC around, though there may be some inevitable tiny retcons when you do something like fall into a pit trap you don't know about, blunder into the invisible hug demon, and so forth, but I don't think those would be too confusing.
Don't know what I'm on about? Do I sound like a crazy person spouting random nouns and verbs like a blue pineapple usufruct? I think I've set up a map that should persist after I'm logged out for you to sample.

Also, also - as an Oracle, I have access to all the "cure" spells and as a Paladin will get lay on hands when we level up; hope that's "healy" enough.

I suspect that the synergy from the multiple divines will help things work out without too much leaning on any one PC. It'll be interesting to see, though.

Hmmm, now that Korina is gone our adventuring party is a complete sausage fest, I think even the bird is male.
...Although I think some of our characters are ok with that.
Roll20 is good and has been the new preference for my other games.

It's fine. What you forget, I can always roll. For example, I noticed Yridhrennor forgot to declare pledging himself to Lamashtu by means of interpretative dance and synchronized trepanation. :)

I think we are all at full hit points. Unless I missed the other NPC introductions, I think we only know the blind elf's name.
