how many dracos left? And how badly injured does mariel look?
Mariel's at 26/46. Nothing's in melee with her thanks to Mittens, and those at range have switched to melee weapons. The opposition stands at 3 dracs, the nearest quite injured and the other two unharmed. It would take a double move to get to that guy.

Round 4
Mittens knelt beside Mariel and laid his hands upon her. The power of Kiri-Jolith flowed through his hands and into her, closing the worst of her wounds. As the Bison God's blessing did its work, Mariel had the distant sense of a great, charging stampede. Countless hooves racing forward together resolute.
High above, the wyvern turned to the southeast and began to fly away from Qualinost.
The wyvern is 180 feet up. Jakun is 30 feet up. They have the same fly speed, but the wyvern is higher up. However, Jakun might be able to force reductions in altitude by doing more damage or somehow slow it down so he can catch up. Or just cheese off enough that it comes around for him.
Order is Wyvern, Thistletorp, Toede, Jakun, Caitlyn, Dracs, Mariel, and Mittens. Thistletorp is first up.

Thistletorp sneaks forward to strike at one of the draconians near Caitlyn.

Then, he pokes his blades out from the underbrush, cutting into the dcraconian's underbelly with both of his blades before sneaky back into the brush.

Haste - move action 60' Fly towards the Wyvern. Heroic Surge - move action 60' Fly towards the Wyvern, Jakun has closed the gap to only 30'.
This may be as high as Jakun has ever flown, now in range, he casts yet another offensive spell at the creature.

Do the Moons influence your magic yet?
I do not think it does unless I select the Wizard of High Sorcery specialty class, let me know if I am wrong here Samnell.
| Mariel Uth Kaldar |
I think it depends on the DM, it is his call. IIRC it was posted as a feature of the PRC to demonstrate that the wizard was dedicating themselves more the the Moon and the Secrets demonstrated their dedication to Magic and their Order. It is funny, because Raistlin and Fisty, even though they were renegades still kept the features of the WoHS class.

Round 4
With a great burst of speed, his pulse pounding, Jakun raced through the air. He closed the distance with the wyvern, Toede, and Laurana and chanted a spell. Putting the dizzying height and tiny Qualinost below out of his mind, Jakun chanted another spell. A line of flame shot from his hand, searing the wyvern's flank. It roared in pain.
Down below, rage burning in her heart, Caitlyn swung her hammer again. The slippery acid and blood on the ground nearly threw it from her mark. A last minute adjustment born of instinct landed the blow where she meant, nearly slaying the draconian.
That draconian, desperate, closed and flailed at her with its dripping blade. The other surged toward Thistletorp, heedless of Caitlyn's long reach. She nearly felled it, but the dragonman reached Thistletorp all the same. It essayed a wild blow, knocked heavily off-balance by Caitlyn's strike. Thistletorp felt nothing more perilous than a slight breeze as the blade passed well above his head.
The wyvern is 180 feet up. Jakun is 30 feet away from it.

Round 5
High above, the wyvern banked into a wide turn, swinging on an arc that would take it back toward Jakun.
"No! You dumb beast! No! Toede screamed. "We have the princess! She's worth enough to give you a horde! Verminaard will kill us both!"
The wyvern is 180 feet up. Jakun is 30 feet away from it.

Order is Wyvern, Thistletorp, Toede, Jakun, Caitlyn, Dracs, Mariel, and Mittens. Thistletorp is first up.

| Caitlyn Weissman |
Sling range increment is 50' and the wyvern is 180' i.e. 3 range increments away.
Hammer sliding from her hands, Caitlyn finds her sling in one hand and a bullet stone in the other. She glares at the wyvern struggling to climb away and starts swinging the sling in a circular motion. Faster and faster and faster till the air is filled with the moan of the strings, an with a grunt of effort she looses the stone which majestically sails up towards the beast!

Jakun called on the sleeping magic of his staff, hurling forcebolts into the wyvern. They struck the dragon in the flank as it completed its turn. Jakun dived and the wyvern followed, swooping past and lashing out with its stinger. The barb, dripping venom, whistled past Jakun's waist.
From below, Caitlyn spun her sling and hurled a bullet. It found a soft spot beneath the wyvern's wing. The dragon howled its rage. In answer, elven voices rose in the distance.
The wyvern is 120 feet up. Jakun is 120 feet up. The elves will be here in three rounds.
Fly DC 10: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12 it made one!

The wyvern swooped and rolled, sending Toede and Laurana scrambling to stay on its back. Toede's arms pinwheeled and he screamed in desperation before regaining his purchase. Laurana only had to shift quickly to retain her seat.
The wyvern is 120 feet up. Jakun is 120 feet up, 60 feet from the wyvern. The elves will be here in three rounds.
The wyvern tries to dump Toede & Laurana. It's flying, so I'm going to resolve this as a fly check vs. their CMDs.

Round 6
Jakun hurls another gout of flame at the wyvern, striking it in the side. The wyvern spasmed, its wings going slack as it plunged toward the earth, taking Toede and Princess Laurana with it.
The princess and hobgoblin both fell free from the wyvern, thrown clear as the dragonkin turned in its fall. Jakun dove after Laurana, passing a screaming Toede. The wind blew in the minotaur's face as he raced down faster than gravity bore the princess. Reaching desperately for her, Jakun came so near he felt the elf's fingers brush his own just before she crashed to the ground with a sickening crunch. The wyvern and Toede hit the ground not far away.
Princess Laurana did not stir, except to bleed freely from where broken bones tore through her flesh.
Laurana is at -8 and bleeding. She dies at -14. Your healer is paralyzed and you have 3 rounds before the elves arrive. We're basically out of combat, but time is obviously an issue.
Jakun has the move, but it's not easy to grab someone flying at the speed of gravity. I'm going to use the rules for catching another while falling from the Climb skill. Laurana's Touch AC is 10, forgoing her dex bonus.
Jakun tries: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 Oh dear.
Falling Damage: 12d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 1, 3, 4, 6, 1, 2, 3, 6, 4, 2) = 42 Laurana is at -8 hp. She dies at -14.
