Kimp quakes at the roar, but stands firm (well, mostly firm) takes aim and fires! The beast roars in pain as it is hit.

Silvaras draws his own weapon, offering encouraging words to the team. Scarlet just smiles and touches Hesserrio's weapon.

The brute itself launches itself forward towards Pangea-Zeta and takes a huge bite out of him.

Being severly bruised and winded by the lizard's maw, Pangea says to Silver: "We can also decide to dissect it and study it in the lab..."
Thinking that it is a bit silly to keep on getting a beating and not be able to heal himself when it can heal others, Pangea follows Klitch's idea, but with a bit more restraint, and moves carefully backwards, making sure to avoid provoking an attack from the lizard.

Actions: 2 x Move Actions for 2 x Guarded Step
@GM Aerondor What is the reach of this lizard, as Pangea can see?
I did my actions based on that. If it is a long critter without reach, Pangea would Move in the 2nd action instead of a 2nd Guarded Step (and thus go a bit further back)

Klitch tries a tricky shot...that doesn't come off. Looks like his showmanship was catchy as Kimp suffers a similar fate with his rifle.

For the sake of keeping things moving, let's say my action takes place after Hesperrio's so that he still gets my +1.

"Fair point, but I'd still very much prefer to avoid killing it if we can," Silveras says as he closes the distance between the lizard and himself. He takes a swing with his dueling sword at the creature.
