The lift descends so quickly that you almost feel weightless. The elevator doors open into a rectangular storage room that shares the same design as the hangar bay above. A mesh grating just beyond the western elevator door overlooks stacked crates below. An adjacent set of stairs descends to the floor. A second set of stairs continues to a separate, stone chamber to the east.
GM Blake |
Keskodai hears a wet crunching and slurping sound coming from where a light hangs over the far end of the storage room. The ransacked storage crates are stacked ten feet high, so he is unable to see what it causing the noise. However, shortly after the doors open, the noise stops.

"That is gross! A giant twoheaded monster is there, slurping the marrow from the bones of a goblin! I am hitting the strobes, avert your eyes!"
Using his datapad the ysoki gives the mainframe the command to set the lights to strobe.

The crates have quite a bit of mass and would require significant force to move. However, the giant is as tall as the stacked crates. So toppling one onto him would do less damage than him toppling one (an easier task for him) onto you.
Raia reappears as arcane lasers trace a path around the crates to strike the parts of the giant she can see. Despite scouts advantageous position, the bullet deflects off of the two-headed giant's armor. Navasi lobs a grenade over the crates and expels an expanding volume of adhesive goo. The giant, however, manages to shield himself from the go with the half-cooked, half-eaten goblin corpse in his other hand.

"Why are you always eating people, brother?" the other head asks.
"Quiet! They attacked first, right?" the first head counters. He then concentrates in your direction and a spinning sphere of force appears, rocketing into Navasi, bouncing to Altronus, then over Quig's head as the ysoli ducks and into Scout.

What a strange situation, having a mouse-like creature talking of monkeys. The life of a Starfinder is always entertaining at least...
Altronus waves at the Ettin. "Hello. My name is Altronus and these are my companions Quig, Raia, Navasi, Keskodai. Is there anything else intriguing about this place that you have seen?"
GM Blake |
"We're your prisoner, but that doesn't mean we're going to help you get rich," Borgor says.
"But what about the ho--" Bago starts before Borgor glares at him and orders him to be quiet.
Dystopian Altronus |
"Hmm," Altronus says. "Perhaps we can split whatever treasure we find? I'm sure a finder's fee is well within the Society's power to grant for someone who aids them."

Bago proves resistant to Navasi's charm (because he is charmed by his brother), but the question is ultimately answered by Quig.
The electric hum of a powered computer console echoes throughout the bowels of this recessed chamber. A series of thick cords attached to the console connect to a large, gorecovered hatch. The hatch firmly seals against the room’s rough stone floor. Several vents surround the hatch, each spewing forth gouts of miasmic exhaust and emitting angry whistles at irregular intervals.
The computer console’s screen rapidly scrolls through a series of blueprints, plans, and schematics that hint at a larger substructure beyond the closed hatch. Quig--and anyone else with a datapad--can download this information easily.
Computers: 1d20 + 31 ⇒ (17) + 31 = 48
Using his connection to the mainframe, Quig unlocks the hatch. Within you find the melted remains of a vesk and a human. Borgor tells you these are the remains of Snips and Xalak-don, the other two crew members. The goblins sacrificed them into the Spirit Hole before Borgorbago broke free and killed the chief.
The remainder is to be continued in a future Scenario. Congratulations.
