Kirren Baelash Koehvain |

Kirren recognizes that they are not threats and lowers his blade and even sheathes it. "We have the same goal, and quickly before she is taken from this land."
Kirren will double move until there is a break in the tunnel.

![]() |

"Greetings, I am Aramil a blessed priest of the great goddess Ollandra. Why are you in these tunnels? It seems to be a strange place just to bump into others."
He is a very personable person, even with the abrupt appearance of the new individuals he goes into charisma mode to make friends quickly.
He then points out each party member for recognition, and realizing that he does not even know the other two's professions. "The tracker up ahead is Kirren, sorry when tracking he is very serious." He smiles knowing that Kirren is berating him quietly.
"You have met Laine, though Lanine what is your specialty?" He will wait for her to respond, then moves on to the last member of their thrust together group.
"Lastly, but not least, Vajra who is well, Vajra would you like to explain that one?" Waiting patiently for him to respond since we are all rushing after Kirren while introductions are being made.
"Ralph is it, what do you do with all those massive muscles or do you hold those in reserve and create magics?" Waiting once more for interactions and if need be asks the last fellow his name and profession or at least what his strengths are.

Ralph Skull Carver |

Nice to meet you, Aramil, Ralph says as the cleric starts talking to him. As I said, I saw a girl being carried off, seemingly against her will, and that's all the reason I needed to follow.
Ralph nods as each party member is introduced.
These muscles? No, these muscles are well-used. I use these to fend off would-be attackers, and they help me throw my weight around, too. Positioning is very important in a battle, and these allow me to take advantage of it.

"We are explorers, of a sort" David comments in reply to why they were here, not really caring to elaborate beyond that, and would be quite happy if it wasn't asked upon since everyone else seemed keen on finding out the fate or rescuing the kidnapped girl.
"I am David, and this is my good friend Ralph."
David listens to the roles of each person, only to find out the elf Aramil seemed to know very little of his companions.
Roll intelligence to figure out if they are a rag-tag team made on the fly?

![]() |

"Pyro, Defender and Tracker..." David says softly summarizing the group.
"I'm a guard and warrior, I fight more with finesse than brute force; Ralph is the exact opposite" David summarizes his skills up and looks at Ralph as they go.
Hmm does seem like they compliment each other as I am thinking about it..
"I don't want to pry into anything private and personal, but who is this girl anyways? Princess? Friend? Random Passer by?"
Spot/perception for external/exposed equipment by the thee other members: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21, This is mostly to know what immediately is on hand/easy to access in case he has to act fast.

Kirren Baelash Koehvain |

Kirren seems to be a standard adventurer and survivalist. He is armed to the teeth with warhammer, bow, dagger, quiver, and longsword being the obvious weapons. He has a belt with many pouches and a backpack. He wears studded leather armor and has really good grace. The backpack seems to be rather full.
Crap, Kirren would have pulled up his rope and coiled it up. Is this fine, or will he need to come back for it?

Laine Tamesis |

"Well, at fear of being overly dramatic, we made a promise to a dying father. But the fact that she is anyone's daughter is good enough reason for me." Laine comments.
For a typical Pyro, Laine seems to be oddly equipped, with a shield lined on the inside with throwing knives and a fine chain shirt, a mace at her side, and a backpack.
"But, there was something else that one guy who never came with wanted to save her for?" Laine looks around to the original members of the group.. which is Vajra.

Vajra |

"There is rumor that she holds the lost thirteenth mark, the one of death, or something. I don't really know much about marks. Probably why she was targeted." Vajra turns for a moment to discuss, but continues nonetheless forward. Probably gonna walk into a wall or something.

![]() |

"Thirteenth Mark? You mean Dragon marks?"
For a minute or so David is quiet in his own thoughts sifting through what he can remember, before speaking once more.
Do I need to do a knowledge check before this can be said or would I know enough to specify this? I'll do a roll anyways just to be sure.
Knowledge (local): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
"Dragon marks are very rare, although there are ten something of them, each of them have different forms going from lesser to a greater form. Marks have names based on what they do, like the Mark of healing does some form of healing, other's include the Mark of Handling and Mark of Making. But the Mark of Death?"
"Even more disturbing though is if the marks can be removed, transferred to someone else. There's rumors of that happening before, but I think removing a Mark might kill someone..."
David frowns, knuckles turning white a bit as he squeezes harder on the quarter staff. "Maybe we should hurry..."

Ralph Skull Carver |

If this is what we are to do, then what groups will there be?
Unfortunately, Laine, you'll only be able to connect to one person, as it's manifested as a character of 1/2 character level, though this shouldn't be too big of an issue in this particular instance.

![]() |

At the intersection David pulls himself out of his thoughts, the idea of splitting up not preferred, but seemingly ideal.
"Then let's link up and go..." The idea of him and Ralph not being trusted came to mind, meaning there would likely be a change around in the teams, meaning likely he couldn't look out for Ralph if something were to come up.

![]() |

"I'll do it..." David says with very little delay, the sense of urgency taking away the chance to really think about or object to possibly opening his mind to a complete stranger.

Kirren Baelash Koehvain |

Kirren checks to see if he can see which are the newest, 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17. If he can't figure it out he asks everyone to be quiet and listen for movement, 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22 Listen Check.

![]() |

"I will go with our new friends, Ralph and David, I hope with this extension of trust we can all work together as a team in the future. Ralph why don't we start heading South and David can catch up once melded." He is being truthful and wanting always to work well with others, and there is urgency in his voice.

Kirren Baelash Koehvain |

Kirren nods, touches his hand above his heart and slightly bows. He then lowers his hand some, then he is off, heading North.
Double Moveing, or Running if there is space for it.

![]() |

Aramil's words and Kirren's action makes a hint of doubt hit him. "I feel like I just volunteered to commit suicide.." he comments to no one in particular.
David watches Aramil preparing to leave with Ralph. He turns to the Pyro of the group. "Alright, I'm ready whenever you are"

Ralph Skull Carver |

Perhaps I should be linked, then. I'm faster than David.
Ralph moves back, pushing David lightly back towards Aramil. Go, I'll catch up in just a bit. I'm not as hopeless as you tend to think I am, he says, smiling his big, toothy grin.
Ready, he says, turning back to Laine.

![]() |

Yeah I suppose... manifesting time is only a standard action (Click-me) though (Unless there's a different power she's using) at which point catching up is a move action at worst.

Ralph Skull Carver |

mechanically speaking, yeah, there's little reason for one or another. But as far as Ralph knows, it may take longer, and he is indeed faster. He doesn't know much about psionics, other than what he's seen with David, but that doesn't involve any manifesting. It shouldn't matter too terribly much which one of us gets linked, but if you really want to, you can take it.

Ralph Skull Carver |

Ralph nods, and through the link is heard, ::V-Very well.::
Ralph stays for a moment, holding his head and wincing slightly, but shakes it off, heading South.
I know there's no reason, mechanically, for him to have a headache, but I'd intended to take him to the realm of psionics eventually, which is made easier, a little bit, by the inclusion of psionics in the party.

Ralph Skull Carver |

The ooc tags are intended for out of character things, not in character things such as your first post, Grim. Just a clarification, as it helps to have people using the same formatting for the same things. Normal text is most often used for actions or descriptions, ooc tags are used for ooc, bold is often used for talking, etc etc.

Kirren Baelash Koehvain |

Kirren takes a moment to look at the ground to see if he can check the prints. 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23 Survival Check to follow tracks.
Then if he cannot come to a conclusion he will take the West passage, hoping another of his party will follow.
