Here is Andreas Durandal. I need to adjust the crunch but it will be very similar. Background will be totally rewritten. Do you have a need for a barbarian? :3
Since it seems that we are joining partway through, should we still take a prisoner trait?
Is there anything else we need to add above and beyond the character creation rules? Are we still 1t level and such?

alternate spell-like ability: you can manipulate any metal armor you wear, causing it to appear to be made of shining silver or gold. This illusion lasts only as long as you wear your armor.

Not certain what I'll be doing in regards to reboot or not. I think I'll decide that with my players once I get things worked out for who will be playing. For now just make first level and to the specifications in the first post, it's easy enough to level if we just continue onward from where we are.

Here is my proposal.
Bard(Dawnflawer Dervish/Animal Speaker) - probably Ilfrit for the race.
Str: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 = 12
Dex: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17 + 2 = 19
Con: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 = 13
Int (Foible): 8 = 8
Wis: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 - 2 = 13
Cha(Focus): 18 + 2=20
I hope to have the character put together later tonight. Background may take another day or so to finish.

Ummm, Ouch. Three eights? :-/
I would like to present Jethryk Devarre, a LE Oracle of Flame (Black Blood).
In Jethryk's case, the taint manifested at puberty: He was wracked with fevers and chills for months, until one day, he started weeping tears of blood - black blood.
His parents, fearful of what might happen to their son, and, more importantly, the rest of their family, if Jethryk's condition became common knowledge, his parents quickly bundled him off to the capital, where he was nominally apprenticed to a local barrister that the family had had dealings with in the past.
Jethryk chafed at the virtual exile and imprisonment that had been forced upon him, but he studied the law, nursing a cold hatred for those who had abandoned him. One day, however, he found an avenue for escape: In an obscure legal codex, he discovered allusions to a contract that, when signed, granted the signatory unimaginable power... in exchange for a few small boons.
Blinded by thoughts of revenge, Jethryk failed to consider the implications of what he was seeking, and eagerly spent every waking moment he could call his own feverishly attempting to track down the hinted contract. His quest was largely fruitless for months, until, serendipitously, he found an ancient scroll, tucked into the space behind a shelf of tort law. When he read the words, he could barely contain his excitement, and eagerly whipped out a quill, using his own blood as ink. Upon signing his name, the scroll erupted into flame, and he was immediately beset with excruciating agony, as a glyph was seared into the flesh of his chest - an upside-down pentagram. Once the pain abated, he could feel warmth suffusing his body, his ice-cold heart melting as power thrummed through every fibre of his being. Torching his master's library, he left the capital, heading 'home'... It was high-time he paid his 'respects' to his parents...
After his initial 'breakthrough' in the capital, Jethryk maintained a low profile, skulking his way across the countryside, until he arrived at his home village. Once there, he bided his time, until he had opportunity to plant evidence implying that his parents consorted with dark powers. He watched with satisfaction as a mob formed, his betrayers were tied to poles, and torched. Then, however, his ego got the better of him: He made the mistake of gloating over what he had accomplished, realsing a little too late that that merely made him a target... He fled into the darkness, but was eventually tracked down by a posse of local constables, who, rather then handing him over to the mob, had him sent to Branderscar Prison, there to face the full weight of the law...
Jethryk is a tall, wiry human with coal-black hair, pale skin, and icy blue eyes. He rarely smiles, but is prone to fierce, fiery passions. A large burn-scar in the shape of an upside-down pentagram is emblazoned across his chest, but he prefers to hide this behind his rags as best he can.
He has no quarrel with the rank and file peasantry of the nation, though; provided they do not get in his way, he will leave them alone. He is not an anarchist, after all... He merely seeks redress for perceived wrongs; if doing so happens to place him in a position of power, so much the better.
In terms of character development, something to consider: Although Jethryk does not realise it (I will deliberately not take Knowledge(Religion).), the contract that he signed deeded-over his soul to Asmodeus, with the option for the Archfiend to call on him for service during life, as well. (To circumvent the need of a holy symbol, I will take the 'birthmark' trait to make the scar on his chest count as a holy symbol.)
Full crunch is available on his page :-)

Thinking about an alchemist.
I have a request: would you allow me to combine the Reanimator and Vivisectionist archetypes? By the rules, they do not stack, as one replaces the Bomb ability with a Sneak Attack, and another reduces its damage. However I could see the same reduction being applied to Sneak Attack just as easily. If you agree with it, this will make it easier for me to make a kind of sadistic Dr. Frankenstein.

I have three concepts that I will post here. Are non-standard races allowed? A few I was looking at are vampires, werewolves, and tieflings... (oh my)
I intentionally left out details so that you could easily give me a few to include for plot hooks before I fully flush out the character's story and crime.
Karthus is an ancient cleric of sorts. One day, while practicing his craft, he attempted to heal someone of the burden of life. After slitting the mayors throat, Karthus began the ritual to return him to life, albeit a much longer and decaying one. Partway through the ritual, the city guards came and arrested him. Apparently servants are nosey when they hear a body crashing to the floor.
Karthus is an undead lord cleric whos ultimate goal under Urgathoa is to become a lich, transcending his mortal prison.

Ezreal discovered at an early age how to merge his magic with bladecraft, after 'accidentally' killing his overbearing master. With a suspicious pardon, Ezreal was contacted by an agent of Asmodeus. In exchange for retrieving an ancient scroll from a crypt, he would be rewarded a magical blade. Little did he know that the royal family's burial grounds were trapped to hold intruders and sound an alarm.
Ezreal is a bladebound magus with a penchant for following his whims and desires while seeking any way to become more powerful.

Lee doesn't understand why people so blatantly follow the rules of 'gods' as interpreted by man. As such, when forced to attend a church of Mitra during his martial arts training, he couldn't help but send a very large statue crashing over, killing several parishioners and a cleric or two.

Ok, point by point...
Spell focus as a noncombat feat depends on the spell. It's really just meant to be a flavorful feat, so if it's used on a spell that won't see use all the time sure, if the spell is used a lot, then probably not.
Combining Reanimator and Vivisectionist is fine, making the sneak attack dice d4s instead of d6s.
Nonstandard races like tieflings and Aasimars are fine. Werewolves and Vampires are not.
And Yes, one set of rolls, one submission per person.

Xrezth the Discordant |

Just reread the first post on this thread and realized you want a separate spoiler on how I was caught. It is in my background, but here is a more detailed story.
After having lived in Talingarde for a number of years, and having left many broken hearts, and even more broken weddings, behind her, Xrezth had made her way to the city of Daveryn. Once again as she had so many times before, Xrezth thanked her mistress, the Whore Queen Ardad Lili for providing so many good, honest, and pure people for her pleasure. As was not uncommon, Xrezth found a popular inn, the White Stallion, and decided that it would serve her well. With money she had earned performing in other cities, before having to leave with the father's of stilted brides behind her, Xrezth paid for a room for several days and then found a place in the common room where she could watch for likely ways to satisfy her pleasure.
The first few days, she provided married men of varied professions with experiences they were unlikely to forget. By the fifth evening, Xrezth decided that the married men of Daveryn had provided her with sufficient enjoyment. That night she spotted a young man drinking it up with his companions. A few questions and a few pretty smiles later and she learned that the young man was Edgar Maradain IV, the eldest son of Count Edgar Maradain III and the heir to the noble house. But, even more to her interest, and undoubtedly her mistress's as well, was that the young noble was to be wed in but three days. Something that brought a wicked smile to her pretty lips. Quickly she decided to let her body do the talking. A few ales and another inn later, and the young noble was no longer the pure boy he had been when he had left home a few hours earlier.
In all likelihood, this would have been just another conquest, and corruption, for Xrezth. Unfortunately, the youth's ability to keep a secret was even worse than his ability to resist a pretty girl. When he arrived home with a big smile on his face, the elder Count knew what had occurred and, using the son's description, tracked down Xrezth. Blinded by rage, the Count demanded that he be allowed to fight a duel to the death with her for his son's honor. Although not the most skilled swordsman in Talingarde, Xrezth had trained for years while growing up in the deserts of far away Altraz in the art of fighting with a scimitar. Also Xrezth realized that fleeing would endanger her and if caught would likely result in the discovery of her less than ethical practices.
Thus, Xrezth agreed to the duel which was held in a park a short way away. Appearing much older, the Count undoubtedly did not expect the speed and precision of Xrezth's blows. Fighting with a 2 handed style, the Count charged Xrezth who lithely dodged his wild swing and caught the Count with a speedy strike to the kidneys. Injured and bleeding, the Count turned and again made a wild swing at Xrezth. As before the swing missed, but this time, the swing left the Count open to a counter strike which Xrezth, in a move more reminiscent of her exotic dancing than a sword style, landed viscous strike causing a grievous wound to the Count's neck. Realizing that he had erred, the Count raised his hands in submission, but by this time Xrezth had been consumed with the rage of battle and as she believed her lord the Archdevil Moloch would do, she gave him no quarter landing a fatal blow which severed the arteries in the Count's neck.
Seeing her enemy fall, Xrezth stood over him and smiled, one less pure and good heart to worry about. Xrezth then stepped forward and wiped her blade on the rapidly dying Count's shirt. As she was doing this, she heard a gasp from behind her. Turning, she saw the Count's son turn and flee screaming. Xrezth then attempted to disappear, but with her description and both divine and arcane magic at their request, the powers of good easily managed to track her to where she was hiding. Xrezth attempted to fight, but was quickly subdued by the trained guards. Disarmed and wounded, she was thrown in prison and a day later tried and condemned for dueling to the death. The sentence, as she knew it would be, was to be beheaded in the Brandenscar prison three days hence.
Xrezth now finds herself alone in the prison unsure of her next move. The guards have kept her gagged and bound making her unable to use her powers, magical or seductive, to gain any chance at freedom. Unable to think of a viable option, Xrezth sits in the dark, assuredly awaiting her death.

Punishment: Death by beheading.
The contract was simple. Chaperone, Escort and Protect. Nothing said she couldn’t get a little rough. Most of her clients preferred a proactive approach ensuring no repeat violations of their persons. Clearly, the pretty boy wine merchant who couldn’t accept “No” was well connected. Clearly, her client (also well connected) was not going to take the fall. Of course, perhaps the venue could’ve been better chosen, doing such a public beat down in the middle of a cotillion, while sadistically and artistically satisfying, lacked certain subtly, but that is what the client wanted. Although in hindsight, sentenced to a beheading for an almost murder did not sit well with her, like she was the one robbed of an opportunity.

Xrezth the Discordant |

Ok - after spending way too much time working through this character, I finally finished the character and background. I just hope this campaign takes off as the DM seems to have been absent for quite some time.
May I re-present Xrezth, Assimar(Musetouched) Bard(Dawnflower Dervish/Animal Speaker).
This is the second half of my full background on my character sheet.
Over the years, Xrezth had made more than a few poor decisions, but since murder was not even a thought for those in Talingarde, when she was caught with her hands in the proverbial cookie jar, she would simply talk her way out of it and then gather her belongings and make her way to another city, and another set of happy people to corrupt.
Unfortunately, all good things (dependent upon your opinion of good) must come to an end. After having lived in Talingarde for a number of years, and having left many broken hearts, and even more broken weddings, behind her, Xrezth had made her way to the city of Daveryn. Once again as she had so many times before, Xrezth thanked her mistress, the Whore Queen Ardad Lili for providing so many good, honest, and pure men and women to morally destroy.
After leaving many men with smiles on their faces, and the next morning daggers in their spouses eyes, Xrezth stumbled upon a young man drinking it up with his companions.
When he arrived home with a big smile on his face, the elder Count knew what had occurred. Using the son's description, the Count tracked down Xrezth. Blinded by rage, the Count demanded that he be allowed to fight a duel to the death with her for his son's honor. This astounded Xrezth and as with many times in the past, her poor judgment struck, and she agreed to the duel.
Although not the most skilled swordswoman in Talingarde, Xrezth had continued her training in the seductive, and deadly, scimitar dance that she had learned all those years earlier in the desert. The duel was held in a dark park by the Daveryn’s port. Apparently both Xrezth and the Count figured that the other’s dead body could be disposed of in the harbor.
Despite having lived well over half a century, the otherworldly blood in her caused Xrezth to still appear as not much more than a teenage girl. Thus, older, and much stronger, the Count undoubtedly thought that his large sword would make quick work of the smaller Xrezth. Fighting with a 2 handed style, the Count charged Xrezth who lithely dodged his wild swing and caught the Count with a speedy strike to the kidneys. Injured and bleeding, the Count turned and again made a wild swing at Xrezth. As before the swing missed, but this time, the swing left the Count open to a counter strike which after a series of exquisite dance moves more reminiscent of exotic dancing than sword fighting, landed a viscous strike causing a grievous wound to the Count's neck. Realizing the error in his ways, the Count raised his hands in submission, but by this time Xrezth had been consumed with the rage of battle and as she believed her lord the Archdevil Moloch would do, she gave him no quarter landing a fatal blow which severed the arteries in the Count's neck.
Seeing her enemy fall, Xrezth stood over him and smiled, one less pure and good heart to worry about. Xrezth then stepped forward and wiped her blade on the rapidly dying Count's shirt. As she was doing this, she heard a gasp from behind her. Turning, she saw the Count's son who had been hiding and watching the fight turn and flee screaming. As she had done many times before, Xrezth then attempted to disappear, but with her description and both divine and arcane magic at their disposal, the Count’s family easily managed to track her to where she was hiding. Well, on 19 Aug, Ryuko posted (in one of the Rise of the Runelord games he's running) that he had just gotten out of the hospital after an appendectomy.
All 3 posts by Ryuko in this thread (including the initial) have been made since his last post in that other game. I'm suspicious that something is still wrong.
