Life link says it ticks at the start of your turn. Ending the links is an immediate action. My understanding is that it would tick before you had a chance to end it but that's for DM-Kal to decide.
I have all of my math saved to google drive. It clearly says you healed Garroth for 5 not 10. Where I got 10 I do not know. It's 5 and that 5 could be dismissed by DM-Kal.
You've been healing me every round since I fell off that rope. Crystal got me in a grapple and it was brutal. I was pretty sure I was going to die. On the plus side this last tick brought me up to 21/23 HP. Gotta love that negative level Crystal gave me :p
Ah, I see where I made a mistake. Sarcon’s damage on 6/1 was ret-conned and Sarcon posted out of turn on 6/2. I didn’t catch that they were invalid the first time through. I should have been re-reading the discussion thread along with the gameplay thread.
Garroth's damage is as follows
5/26: 16 damage from fire
6/3: 33 damage from Sarcon
So. 1/50 hp. An improvement!

So all I have to do is to turn around and look funny on Garroth and he will go unconscious? Becuase if I slap him with more Non-Lethal damage than he has of Current health, he is going to kiss the ground.
Mostly I'm just waiting for you all to beat each other senseless, then I will run around with my dagger finishing people off.

I KNEW IT!
I f%~~ing knew it! All along you are just going along with your "I-your-neighborhood-friendly-life-oracle"-Act, but in reality, you are more evil than the rest of us...
I am in awe of your dispicableness and would like to re-affirm Victor's earlier proposal... Remember, Sarcon has cookies and Jerky.

Well that put me at exactly -12 hp. Darn those dice rolls.

I am having a VERY good time. I have never had this much raw materials nearby, without being liable to be hunted down if I used it.
I am thinking something along the line of flaming skeletons, just to have a pinch of the ironic in their conversion.

So here's my take on Diplomacy in battle.
Normally, it would do nothing. I consider active combat a negation of diplomacy. However, if an entire team delays (or readies, etc) and one or more of them attempt diplomacy, then technically combat for that turn has, in essence, paused. Therefore I'm willing to entertain attempts at diplomacy if the rest of the team opts to avoid aggressive action for that combat turn. So far, no one has (mostly because they've all collapsed), so it's up to the rest of you how you want to play it. Give Victor his chance, or take down this vampire before it kills more people?
Victor Ravenport
Victor is primarily doing this to have some kind of security for his self-preservation: Going by the logic that the vampire seems to think that the book is valuable, (See: Spellbook) and therefor he won't target Victor with some manner of AoE or direct attack again, as it might damage the book.
You can either play along or keep attacking and I will not fault you for any of the options.

Well that's twice now where I thought I was dead for sure and yet I pulled through.

hmmmm, according to my numbers, garroth was at -12 before the vampire was surrounded.
someone double check that please necause then he couldn't have charged into the fight.
also remember that garroth has no life link.
Fethryth Teldanona
Double checked everything.
5/26 Fire hits Garroth for 16 damage. Melaphi shuts off the life link before he absorbs any of it. Hp down to 34
6/1 Sarcon hits Garroth and crits. It is later determined that Garroth's trip attack had hit Sarcon and the crit confirmation failed. Garroth takes 13 damage. Hp down to 21
6/2 Sarcon's attack doesn't count as it was posted out of turn
6/3 Sarcon crits for 33 damage. Garroth is at negative 12. Dying but not yet dead
I honestly just trusted that everyone was right when they said I was dead, but with everyone seemingly forgetting Mels channel, im wondering if Garroth is still alive.
Melaphi shut off his life link to you before you healed any damage from it. There is a minor but still possible change that Garroth was healed through Energy Body. Melaphi turned it on 6/1 the turn before Garroth started stabbing. Melaphi took a move action then and *if* he moved through Garroth's square he healed Garroth for 1d6 +4 BUT it would have to be ruled that he moved through Garroths square and that Garroth still counted as an ally even though the vampire had his mind by then.
All I really know at this point is that I am not dead and that I still suck at math.
Melaphi Dasan
Energy body can only used to heal one person per turn, I used my move action to self heal with it.
That's a pretty big retcon to pull back at this point though, but I would have either life linked or channelled Garreth at that point to stabilize him but left him unconscious.

As I recall, we decided that Garroth was at 1 hp after Feth had counted everyone first. Then he got hit by a 21 damage attack from Sarcon.
Is that just something I read wrong or...? Because then, if I don't misunderstand, he would be at negative 20 and then he got healed from Melaphi's channel(s) for 18 so I get it more in the sense that Garroth survived just barely, but is still unconscious.
Or am I just plain wrong?

If you guys had just been rolling average rolls this vampire would be toast. You definitely wilt under pressure. *rubs her hands together eagerly, evil grin on her face*
