I'm fine with these rooms, of anyone was waiting on me. But it's a holiday weekend in the US and also PaizoCon so things may be slow.

Heroes move inot C 16 the Exercise Yard. This large courtyard is open to the sky. Tenacious clumps of partially trampled grass grow fitfully here and there in the hard-packed earth, in places stained with blood or scratched with furrows. To the north, what appear to be two dead goblin lie slumped at the entrance to an outbuilding.
C 12 was already explored as well, just a food storage area
You see 4 goblin dogs, and these guys aren't going to stay tame or be tame.

Lynn moved forward with the other melee but stuck near the wall shooting into the dogs with the crossbow before they all charged in.

As soon as the group starts to approach the building, Faliana starts falling behind, clearly distracted, muttering half sentences to her self about how the place was probably not a building of great magical purposes and definitely is not devoted to the worship of the moon.
She stays distracted, almost seeming to argue with herself as the group encounters the first set of goblins and dogs, but not even getting a chance to acknowledge their existence, before everyone else puts them down, Faliana stays blissfully unaware.
As they start to move into the next room, she finally starts seeming to reach a crescendo in her one-sided argument. "... really need to learn to realize you're wants and desires are clouding your judgement! And heading off on our own is a STRICT no! I mean why did you spend the last half of your life as a werewolf? You wandered into a forest at night on your own! Seriously, your judgement is ..."

Finishing up her argument, Faliana looks up to finally realize that things have been happening around her. With a shake of her head, she moves closer to the goblins, pulling out her longspear in the process. "Sorry about that. Mariel has a rather rosey view of the world, but just won't ever learn better OR leave things be. He can be a real pain sometimes."
AS she gets closer, the half-elf takes a moment to line up a thrust, before trying to skewer one of the dogs.

While she knows nothing about calming animals down Lynn starts to sing a lullaby to the horse hoping to help calm it down.

I think Handle Animal is trained only, and none of us are trained.
Aroden also offers some food to the horse, but can't do much for it. "We can try to lead someone from the town here to take it home and care for it, after the goblins are defeated."
Close the door and leave the horse here? I don't think it would cross the bridge willingly if we let it run free.

As Faliana looks over at the horse her eyes go vacant and a small dribble of drool starts to form at the corner of her mouth. With a shake of her head she snaps out of Mariel's hunting instincts and slams the door shut. Wiping the drool from her mouth she looks at everyone else. "Sorry, lost control there for just a second. I don't think there's a thing I can do to help a horse right now. Anyone have something they can do? If push comes to shove, we could possibly chase it our of here later but we don't have time for that right now."
When no one seems to respond, Fali gives a nod. "Okay then, we should push on, and leave the horse alone for right now. Where to next? Monty, you always seem to have a way of finding the most deadly thing in a place, why don't you pick?"

After several moments of getting that door open, and finding two dead goblins, you quickly shut that door, you don't tame Shadowmist the back horse.
Okay, so you all explore C17, it is a storage shed with nothing of interest.
You open C18 after much work as it is hard to get open, but a party determined will get it open. Inside, you find Shadowmist, a black horse which has killed 2 goblins and which you have left in the room.
C 22: Meeting room, nothing of interest
C 23: Cheiftain's room: Several animal rugs of dogs and horses, fine and antique chairs. Of course the party is going to throughly search the room, so you find gold and key to a chest.
C 24: Who wants to open the chest? The key opens this. Do you wish to check it for traps?

sorry skipped over the out of character part. You really want to put the lullably the horse? It still won't tame him. and you need not to fight him. all getting the horse does is allow you to use him in combat. That will just cost you a spell slot.

Aroden is slow on initiative, and may be using some spells, so do not factor in Inspiring Sword on your attacks this round. What he does will depend on what happens - I'll be checking in enough that you won't be waiting on me too long to move things along.

lullaby is a cantrip and i figured it would calm the horse so we'd have better chances. None of us have handle animal but i figured it'd open up a good rp moment or something, we're past it though so it's whatever.
Lynn would fire into the nearest enemy that wasn't engaged in melee with the pre-loaded crossbow if she could do so without hitting her allies. Otherwise she would start her own inspiring warchant.

I assume Faliana will heal up monty and then proceed to chew him out mightily.
You might know me too well! That's exactly what she'd do.
Faliana just gives a sigh as she watches Monty almost blow up with the chest. "I swear that man... Alrighty, let's get to healing!"
She takes her flat piece of wood and whacks the man on both wrists and then his forehead. While doing so she incants "*Whack* Shameful! *Whack* Negligent *Whack* Unacceptable" The first time she performs it beautifully, causing some of his wounds to close, but the second she accidentally sticks it in one of the gaping lacerations across Monty's body and stops for a second. A third try results in the blood causing her wand to start sparking and the go inert.

Tucking the wand back into her pocket, Faliana gives a frown. "You know we could make a business out of your nose for things that almost kill you... Mr. Monty: Trap Magnet and Evil-Doer Pincushion! 50 Gold a Danger Attracted! Available by Appointment only."
After a second she gives a sigh though her teasing tone fading as well. " But seriously this makes how many times I've seen you in a giant pool of your own blood? 5-6? You're going to run out of luck one of these days, and I don't know if I'm gonna be able to help you..." She says the last bit, hold back tears. With a second to look away and compose herself she looks back at the rest of the group. " Anybody got something I can heal him with?"

in the past before we hit these goblins
3 uses will bring lynns' CLW wand down to 27 charges honestly it's paid for itself about a dozen times now.
Lynn smiles warmly at the two and their exchange and pulls her own wand from her belt with a flick, carefully handing over the crossbow to Aroden for a few moments.
"Careful it's ready to fire."
She moved over and spoke sweetly,"Tadpole. Tadpole. Tadpole." with each repetition of the word she'd tap monty lightly each time his wounds sealing a bit more until he was without a scratch. It looked as if even his clothing was ready to stitch itself back up to mimic his flesh.

Faliana feels a slight moment of mental fog as the warchanter starts to chant a spell, but she is able to quickly shake off the feeling, and glares at the bastard trying to remove her from the fight. With a few steps she moves up behind Jed before sliding over to where Monty is standing. She gives the monkey man a hug as she passes ending up right next to the man. "Hi sweetie, mind if I join you in taking the bastard casting spells at me out?"
With a smile, she turns her attention to the warchanter and takes a stab at him.

Lynn would drop the great crossbow down and pull her pistol free from her belt and fired it at the chieftain(gecko if he's dead).

Faliana misses, but lynn puts a well placed shot on the boss. My other dming games are done, so I'm less likely to forget about these Rise of the Runelords games updating daily.
