Having some trouble with congestion in my ears and not being able to hear. Earlier this week I had one side flushed because during my ear infection some wax apparently got built up on my ear drum and caused me not to be able to hear out of that ear.
Congestion isn't going away and while i can hear, it's an odd feeling that is just troubling.
Plus we are about half staffed at work and work is getting busier.
That's good to hear Vanya. And damn Artemis, you gonna live? Lol, that sucks when infections get like that, they're tricky as hell to get rid of in the ear and they always mess you up.
I've been sick since I got back from traveling :( Still feel horrible but not as bad as I did.
Not too bad. Felt not that great this morning, but I think I just really didn't want to get out of bed.
Well hopefully you can roll just as good as you did with the diplomacy on this one Cian. On a side note, does this bring back any horrible memories for anyone? Lol

So in gaming news today, WotC published the free online basic rule set for 5th. It only contains 4 races- dwarf, elf, halfling, and human; while the first three have two subraces each that you apparently have to pick from. Humans, however have multiple subraces, each one depending on what area you want your character to come from. It also includes 4 classes- cleric, fighter, rogue, and wizard. Then of course, some standard feats, equipment, and spell lists. Essentially enough information so that players (new and old) can have options for a character, yet not be drowned in books upon books.
So anyways, my quick opinion after reading over it: Odd. Not "This is the worst thing ever in the history of hell #ragequitlifeforstupididioticreasonsthatmakenosense" way, nor "This is the greatest thing I've ever seen and must devote my entire life to!" way. It's just, well odd. I'm glad to see that WotC stepped away from the whole MMO on a table style that they turned DnD into with 4th. But when you look at it, it's like it's a complete mash up of every one of their editions. Just no MMO power abilities thankfully lol. It's still very early into the life of this edition, but with this first glance, I think that it actually has a chance of being something that players could look at and not say "Are you serious? Why in the abyss would you even consider playing that?"
But I liked 4th edition's cleric...
Eh, the only interest I had in 4th edition was its take on Dark Sun. Never paid attention to it otherwise.
I honestly can't argue against the 4th Cleric. It definitely had two purposes. Hit and kill or hit and heal lol.
irt 4th ed. The DMG was the only useful sourcebook I touched. 4th Ed was (imo) bad, but the DMG had lots of good information for running games, not just D&D :)
irt 5th ed. No thanks, I dig Pathfinder and am not a (to quote a friend) Systems Junkie that has to own/try/play every game system ever devised. :)
Can't argue that as well. Pathfinder is my main game, and it'll be a long time before I find something else, unless Paizo releases a Pathfinder 2.0 that improves on this in whatever way they see fit, and I'll go from there lol. But as a GM, it's hard for me not to look at other games. I'm not exactly a systems junkie lol, but I do like to try games that peak my interest. One of my most enjoyable systems I played before was Monte Cook's Arcana Evolved. What I loved about that system was not only did you level your character up as class role, but you leveled up as a race as well. Look at the 4th dragonborn. It pretty much stays the same unless you take a certain path or feat, then you get wings which aren't exactly the best. AE had a race that was essentially the dragonborn, although leveling up as a race gave better benefits towards flight, or being closer to a draconic creature, on top of many other things. It really was a nice touch.
