Ansgar misses his strike, while Denlar manages to connect a right hook into a goblin and send him flying, unconscious. Garbund hits another goblin with a ray of fire, making it scream in pain.
The burnt goblin second guesses his decision to charge and steps back, but three goblins take his place, drawing dogslicers and throwing themselves at the group.

"No, they're right, we can't trust those goblins won't stab us in the back later.", Shalelu says, heading towards the chamber once again.
"I...Understand your reasons, but can't we just tie them up or leave them unconscious?"
Denlar Nulan
"I agree, we don't need them alerting the others that we are here. Sorry father but they wouldn't offer to knock you out or tie you up, they would kill you and not in a nice clean way." Denlar hefts his Ranseur and heads back in.
Can we get past the -4 to AC area?
Ansgar Ercanbald
"All tying them up will do is delay the inevitable. Either we kill them now, tie them up ad leave them to die, or tie them up and drag them to town for a trial." Ansgar says with a fairly flat voice. "Option two is cruel and inhumane. Taking them to town opens us all up to unnecessary risk of injury, and the end result is that they will be tried and hung in town most likely. I don't like the act of taking life, but when it is necessary it is easier to simply do it."
Given that no other healing has happened, Ansgar will channel energy.
Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7 Everyone heals 7 damage
After that he will join Denlar at the front.
Garbund
"I understand their language; if they don't kill us, or die trying, their own boss will kill them.
"So they're dead one way or the other, Father.
"Unlike their boss, we'll be quick and painless about it."
Round 7
Garbund rejoins Ansgarand casts a spell a spell: « ცეცხლის მჟავა » . . "acid splash (fire)", in draconic

GM Wilken
"Agreed, lets be quick with this, we have a mission to finish or Sandpoint will be on fire very soon.", Shalelu says.
I'll just handwave the rest of the combat since its unlikely you'll have any trouble against the goblins.
As you arrive back into the chamber, the goblins mount a final charge, but are quickly dispatched. The howling from the other chamber goes completely silent, and all you can hear is waves crashing on the beaches below as you decide where to go next.
Ansgar Ercanbald
"There's still a few pockets back here that we've not looked into." Ansgar says to the group. "Given the resistance we've found out here already, I'd prefer to not leave any potential surprises behind us."
My vote is to go to the unexplored section directly below us, then clear out the one closer to the bridge, then head over the bridge.
Ansgar Ercanbald
Either I'm missing something to understand Denlar's post or it was for another game... I've but my icon by the hall I wish to go down. If you two want to go another way then I suggest putting your icon by it as well.
Denlar Nulan
Sorry Denlar descended into a cave earlier that Is what I thought you were talking about.
Denlar Follows Ansgar, weapons at the ready.
"So the Goblins are very scared of this boss of theirs. Probably just a bigger goblin or a bugbear. Nothing we cannot handle." Denlar says as they walk
GM Wilken
You follow another tunnel and it ends in what seems like another small outpost with a view to the sea. There are no goblins here.
Making an educated guess that you'll go east now.
As you make your way back east to either explore the rest the resto of the thistle maze or follow into the bridge, you see the way is blocked by a big firepelt cougar and a goblin wearing blue robes and wielding what seems like a blade made of flames with one hand and holding a sphere of flames in the other.
"Me Gogmurt! Prepare to die, longshanks! Tangletooth, get them!"
Ansgar: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Garbund: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

"By Gorum none of you goblins are a worthy opponent." Denlar grunts as he chops
Ansgar Ercanbald
Ansgar charges the goblin. "We can only hope they keep coming in small numbers."
As Ansgar swings he calls for Ragathiel's aid in a low voice.

Two arrows hit Gogmurt in the shoulders, and he looks seriously injured by them.
Zantus mutters a prayer for Desna to guide Ansgar's blade, while Garbund tries to splash fire at the goblin, but misses.
Zantus casts guidance on Ansgar
acid splash(fire): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Denlar and Ansgar then both move foward, Ansgar finds a solid hit on Gogmurt, but the goblin ducks out of the way of Ansgar's blade.
Seeing how outmatched he is, the goblin squeaks and begins retreating with his cougar companion.
Ansgar and Denlar can take an AoO at either Gogmurt or the cougar. Unless killed, they're likely to get away as the small tunnels will slow you down.
Ansgar Ercanbald
Bastard Sword AoO w/ Guidance: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 1 = 7
Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Ansgar curses as he misses.
"We should move a head carefully. He can likely bring out more goblins." Ansgar says as he heads off after the goblin.
GM Wilken
Unimpeded by the small tunnels and thistle, the goblin and his cougar pet are much faster than you and soon vanish from sight, but you manage to catch a glimpse of him turning left and running towards the rope bridge to the north. As you get to the bridge, you can't see him on the other side.
The rope bridge itself is made of hairy rope and thick wooden planks; the whole thing creaks and sways in the wind above the churning surf eighty feet below.
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Ansgar and Denlar both notice that the bridge seems rigged so as to support only two or less creatures of your size. If all if you try to cross at the same time it is very likely the bridge would collapse and drop you into the water 80 feet below.
Ansgar Ercanbald
"Once you cross I will follow." Ansgar says. "After that it should be Garbund, Father Zantus, then Shalelu. Father Zantus will remain safely in the middle this way."
Looking at Father Zantus, "Wait until Denlar, Garbund and I clear a safe spot for you to hide in. Once you're across Shalelu can follow and guard the rear for now."
