You move back into the room with the hole, the hole seems to be a shaft that opens into some sort of cave below. Climbing down seems like a hard task since the walls of the shaft are wet and slippery, and the hole goes at least 50 ft down.

You can see the shaft going 70 ft before ending in water below. It seems like the water is also very deep. The howling gets stronger and more aggresive as you cast light toward the tunnel.

"Who else has rope? We can double it up and I will go down first. Hopefully whatever is down there cannot see in the dark and I will be ok." Denlar pulls out his rope and ties it off if he can then ties whatever other rope is offered and climbs down Ranseur on his back.

Foxglove Manor

Denlar skillfully rapels down the shaft 70 ft below, at this point, the shaft opens to a sea cave 10 feet above sea level, its walls dripping with moisture and alive with sea urchins, anemones, and other tidal life, a five-foot-wide, fifteen-foot-long ledge sits just above the water level to the south.

On the ledge rests a creature that looks like a seal with fins and a sharklike mouth full of teeth, the creature howls and Denlar identifies it as the source of the howling. Once it sees Denlar, the creature moves to the water and swims directly below him. As it moves, Denlar can see, on the ledge, a tangle of many bones, most of of which look like small goblin bones, but some that are human sized or even larger, amidst the bones he can also see the glimmer of gold, an ornate kukri, and a magic wand.

Knowledge Arcana DC 13:
The creature is a Bunyip, it has a powerful bite that causes bleeding, can sense blood in the water like a shark, and has a supernatural roar that can frighten creatures in a long radius.

The sea cave has one exit to the north and another one to the west, the exit to the north seems to lead to a beach, while the tunnel to the west ends in an opening 5 ft above sea level.

It seems Denlar is safe 10 feet above the creature. Map updated, scribbled in white is the shape of the cave and tunnels below

Garbund's magic missiles hit the creature in the head, the creature recoils in pain and stops howling. Denlar can see it swimming back to the ledge.

"I can kill it from a distance if it doesn't swim away to one of the tunnels.", Shalelu says. "Do you think its worth our time?"

The north passage makes a turn left and then opens into three new tunnels. One of them goes south and seems to connect with a tunnel you've seen previously, other goes southwest and the third goes west and opens into a larger chamber that leads into another tunnel to the west. The chamber is currently empty. A "thistle door" to the north gives a good view of the sea surrounding the island.

The thistle door reveals only a view to the sea and island to the north and a shap decline to the small beaches below. From where you are, you can see that the tunnel to the west leads into a large chamber.

This thirty-foot-diameter, low-ceilinged chamber stinks of smoke. A shallow fire pit smolders in the center of the floor, while nine tangled reed-and-leaf nests line the walls. Ten goblins are currently here, all of them look skinnier and dirtier than usual, but nevertheless energetically jump up as they see you, drawing their dogslicers. One of them screams to the others.

"Sissetungijad! Tapa nad kõik! Kallake pikad saapad, et saaksime peaminister Ripnugget meiega uuesti rahul!"

The goblins charge towards the tunnel, one of them gets close enough to attack Denlar with his dogslicer.

Scroll in hand, Garbund walks up and reads the magical words, sending forth a fan of flames that hits the goblins in the frontline.

Reflex Save(White): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Reflex Save(Black): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Reflex Save(Orange): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

The closest goblin is able to roll to the side, being only partially burned. The other two are not so fast and get engulfed by the flames, shrieking and running away a couple steps before colapsing to the ground.

Ansgar then slashes the remaining goblin on the neck, the goblin drops to the ground, dead.

The remainin goblins hesitate for a second, but some of them start dropping their bows and drawing dogslicers. They seem afraid but desperate, and abnormaly willing to fight to the death.

Two of them charge foward.

Goblin:
"Don't give up! If we don't kill longshanks Ripnugget will throw us to the beast anyway!"
