Happy in the knowledge that most of the villagers are safely out of danger I start off towards the Goblins, striding towards them with a vicious look in my eye. My shield raised up; to protect myself from anything they may throw, and my axe steady; ready to swing if any of them get into range. I shout at them as loud as I can after they have finished singing their little song, "Shuulkaan!"

Volkar pulled a small vial from within his tunic and shook it, then plunged it into a small hole in one of the three wooden and steel casks on his belt. He pulled the charged flask away from his belt, shook the now charged bomb, as he moved a few steps closer. He took aim and tossed the bomb at the green skins standing in front of the sing songing screeching goblin.

Bomb info: Here is the damage, (1d6+3(4 Splash: Reflex save 1/2 Dam DC)) Bombs have a range of 20, after that it appears that there is a -2 for distance beyond. As I moved part of my move allowance, and was tossing, I assumed that the -2 would still be applicable as there is still a distance out from the max range.

Volkar: A couple of questions: Were you aiming at a specific goblin or at a specific place? This changes your to hit DC, and the effect on the goblins around the explosion. Pretty sure your roll will hit either one, so pick your poison!

Andrezi takes careful aim through the jostling and moving bodies and seeks to silence the horrible screeching that is whipping the goblins into such a frenzy. He lines up his shot, and it speeds true to its target. Suddenly, the warchanters song is interrupted as an arrow sprouts from its throat. Gurgling, it falls to its knees, then face down on the cobblestones. The goblins give a great shout of dismay!
As the goblins realize their leader is dead, they break ranks and run. The two goblins facing Dealric wave their torches in his face as they move backwards. Five ft Step

Volkar realized that the green faces would only flee and the turn on someone else in the village. They needed to be removed, permanently from the village. He unhooked his battle ax and moved in to support the armored beard brother that had helped him earlier.
"Let's take these four and add them to the others earlier," Volkar said in Dwarvish as he came behind the other dwarf.

I notice the Goblin start to flee from us at the last second and swing my axe it it in a rush, hoping to stop it from causing any more trouble.

But I over extend the attack and start to tumble forwards, so I quickly follow after it to try and make it look like I didn't almost fall over. I catch up to it and this time take my time with the swing.

Volkar turned and waived at Andrezi, "Good shot, sir, good shot, we need to figure out where he was heading." Volkar followed the whirl of dwarven anger that was charging after the remaining goblin, now wearing an arrow as a adornment. Having realized that the warrior slashed the remaining green skin, Volkar paused next to one of the buildings and tried to get his bearings as to where the goblin was heading.

Andrezi sends another arrow wide, but Daelric runs the goblin down and ends the horrific squealing with a meaty thwack from his ax.
Volkar sees many lone and small groups of goblins all over the alley he turns down. They fall from the roofs, drown in rain and ale barrels, squealing and screaming in glee, panic, and distress. The townspeople, however, have rallied. The City Guard is forming into organized lines, and the people have rebounded from the initial shock of the attack. Housewives are bonking with frying pans and butcher knives, while men are grabbing any handy tool to fight back.
You find yourself, once again, in a bit of a lull in the battle.

Kiera glances about at the lines of townspeople and guards who are forming a defense and says, "We should see if we can find out how they got in to town. I mean, it's not like there are big gates that are closed during the festival or anything, but how did this many goblins get into the middle of town unnoticed? They had to come in somewhere!"

I agree with the lass," Volkar responded. "But, I think we should see if we can help the townfolk first, as we need to clean the town of this hoard."

"That would seem to be a reasonable course of action." the priest says in agreement.

As the party reconvenes, the battle moves farther away from the square. Eventually, the calls from the guards and fighters become more infrequent and scattered. There remains individual goblins here and there, raiding food stands and individual people beating them over the heads and cutting them down. The party begins to move out, searching for the source of the goblin uprising. Eventually, it appears that there were three separate groups that attacked the city. Further investigation will have to wait until later, though, as the party comes upon one last group of goblins. These goblins, however, seem to be rather distracted with their gory version of fun! Beneath the eves of the White Dragon Inn, a goblin commando mounted on a goblin dog has cornered a nobleman and his dog. The four goblins accompanying the commando hoot and cheer as the commando rides down the dog, killing it, before turning to the nobleman cowering behind a barrel.
We are just going to reuse the map here for the last battle.

With a gleeful howl, the group turns as one and charges the party waving dogslicers. Thankfully, most are too excited to actually concentrate on their strikes, although one does manage to find a joint in Daelric's armour.

The goblin commando and his dog both fall as they turn towards the companions, and soon the thundering rumble of snores and growls gives a clue as to the effects of the spell!
Daelric lands a solid blow on his goblin and splits it right in half!
Andrezi, that is the damage dealt to Daelric this round in the first attack.. just in the wrong place. Fixed now.
Andrezi takes a second goblin out with one smooth slash across the neck!

Kyra, you still have your turn from last round, after the spell kicked in.
The goblins continue to try and cut through the defenders! However, their swings prove how inexperienced and terrified they are!
