Syndir smiled at Fulito's introduction but turned to reply to Father Zuntos.
You say theyve never come like this before?..perhaps they are being driven?..or after something in particular?..quit thinking aloud!..he might come out...with those whispers...how strange will they look at you then Syndir?..sssstrange indeed Ssssyndir...It matters not. Let's go slay more of these creatins before more citizens of Sandpoint are injured. I'm afraid we'll all have to get ot know one another better at a later time. Begging your pardon Father.
The Qadiran offered Father Zuntus a small bow with one hand to his chest and one spread out to his right before heading off in the same direction as the sheriff.

"Oh my, be caref-" Zantus tries to call after Syndir, but before he can finish his sentence the wagon behind him explodes into flame!
I've been noting some of the battlefield confusion amongst the players, which is why I suggest a visual solution: roll20.net. For those of you unfamiliar, this will allow you to move your character in a grid-like environment amongst the current setting, NPCs, enemies, and allies. Click HERE to get started!

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
Syndir had been intent on his path when the wagon behind him exploded. He whipped around and spotted more of the vile little goblins trying to hide and one of them...is chanting?...sssay it isssnt ssso...even golbinsss have the power burning within them...ssstrike him down firssst!..
He quickly whispered his own words along with waggling his long fingered hands adn felt the assuring buffer of magic settle around him as he slid into his Snake Style.
Standard action - Cast Magic Armor and Free action activate Style.
Tassadan
Syndir, activating Snake Style is a swift action for a level three Master of Many Styles. You cannot activate styles as a free action until level 15 or until you take the Combat Style Master Feat as a level five monk or when your BAB reaches +6. Please select only one of those actions to perform in the surprise round.
Fulito Ferrywarden
perception check: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
the explosion gets Fulito's attention as he notices more of the little goblins arounsd the fire.
he whips out his magical harmonica and begins to play a tune
begin bardic music to effect a coutersong to the goblin chanting also the harmonica isn't magical he just calls it that to describe the bardic music effects
if needed perform harmonica 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (4) + 15 = 19
Tassadan
Well, I'm going to assume that Tiko is taking a nap. He'll be total-defensing until he decides to act
Reynard's bolt strikes true, hitting a goblin directly behind the wagon in the shoulder. Haewyn, distracted by the flames, doesn't notice the shadowy figures in time to react (Nat 1 on perception...)
Fulito, your bardic performance doesn't seem to do anything, as the chanting does not seem to be causing any detriment to your allies.
Initiative:
Fulito: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Tiko: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Syndir: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Haewyn: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Reynard: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
[ooc]So Haewyn, Syndir, Tiko, Fulito, Reynard, Enemy.
Tiko Matsuit
1d20 ⇒ 20 Perception
Tiko heads towards the flaming wagon, sword in hand.
I have to admit I'm having a hard time following the combat. I'm not sure where my character is in relation to the others or the action. I'm not sure what happened on my last attack...was it on one of the goblins felled by missile fire...in which case I assume it didn't happen. Could you reset for me where I am and what is close? Sorry if I'm being dense
:-)
Syndir Apep
Syndir slips into the swaying form that was his style and headed straight for the goblin group. He would single out the chanter if he could and strike for the foul little thing.
Unarmed attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Ok got the map I had to install google chrome as well.
who is up in in init?
You all can post in any order and I will consider initiative for purposes of spells, buffs, and debuffs. This way you can post when it's convenient, and not having to wait for everyone else as much.
Fulito Ferrywarden
Finding himself unable to drown out the gobin's chanting Fulito switches up his music to inspire courage in fighting among his allies.
utilizing his harmonica to play a catchy tune that is in time with the movements of his allies.
bardic music rounds used 2/14 (20 for wind instrumants)
Courage = +1 attack and damge rolls, +1 save vs fear effects

Syndir pressed the attack and launched a punch at the next goblin even as the whispers railed in his head...ssshe'sss a beacon of fire!...watch them burnssss...sssso beautiful...
Unarmed attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Before Syndir's second blow, the Goblins react! Two have already fallen from the combined efforts of Syndir, Reynard, and Haewyn, but the rest are in battle condition.
One goblin slashes successfully at Syndir, his shortsword cutting into the arcanely talented monk's thigh. An arrow whizzes by Syndir's ear as a second goblin attempts to fell him with its bow.
Tiko is far more protected. A sword and arrow harmlessly bounce off of his armor as he moves into place.
Both heroes, however, hear the Goblins say something extremely funny in common:
"Hey Grumlak! I have a dog with no nose!"
"Really? How does he smell?"
"AWFUL!"
Syndir and Tiko must make a DC 12 Will save:
Tiko: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Syndir: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
Both heroes are unaffected.
Fulito Ferrywarden
Fulito continues his songs of inspration and courage but a part of the harmonic music directs itself toward the goblin archer.
using his bardic music and cast Daze on the goblin archer -- Will save DC 14 -- also cast spell in the round so Harmonic spell feat no bardic music round used
