which would be the random bodyguard of sorts one? I was pretty sure that well, its obvious Silence is not a winter witch so. . . >^.^<
Allie Silvershaper |
Im good with commoner. It wouldn't make sense for me to try to go for the fancy stuffs since she is 4 feet tall.
Btw: Ill be posting more reqularly from now on :) Still cant start up my new campaign, but I got a computer now.
'Silence' |
then im hiding in the wagon *lawls* in all reality Im not there, so I dont has a say :)

ribs...crushing...under...so many glomps...
Breaths deeply to catch breath
I do believe a commoner would be best for me, as a caster I do not need weapons.

HI VASHTI!!!!!!
Lyosha Neverhome |
FINALLY they give us the RoW dice set.
Nice, but I like the WotR ones better.

Silence: "Had a good day, hung out with a pretty girl, nice meal, really would rather not having to kill somebody today...."
*Folds arms with hand nonchalantly resting on katana's hilt*
'Silence' |
I said would rather not have to... didnt say I wouldnt :) and he wasnt very nice and stole my fake name
Percy Silvershaper |
Recognize the surprise round and cut that puppy down to size! I would prefer it if this ended before he gets a chance to do anything.

I realize that I've probably just made things a hair more... hairy... but we are here to kill the dragon chief of police, so I see it as foreshadowing. :)
Percy Silvershaper |
True. I may want to acquire a "remove horrible stench" spell here really quick...
Your Benevolent Dictator |
*psst* I should mention that your papers will allow you access to most parts of the city. The market quarter, for example. For the record, Whitethrone is a VERY big city, so pretty much everything you can afford will be available. Also, since the rebellion will begin right after you kill the dragon, you won't really have time for shopping. *hinthint*
Lyosha Neverhome |
Kill dragon then pillage merchant quarter. Got it.
Lyosha Neverhome |
You are NOT allowed anywhere near the merchant quarter.
Your Benevolent Dictator |
Considering quite a few of you currently lack a magic weapon, I'd have to agree. Plus *spoilers* this is the only time you have access to an entire metropolis' supply of gear. This AP has a "magic mart," but it's an unusual type, and you won't get access to it for a good long while. If you're wanting any specific gear, now's the time to get it.
EDIT: If I recall correctly, Silence is taking the "hide in the slaygon" approach to forged papers. Someone will have to buy his gear for him. ;-)
'Silence' |
*nods nods* well unless they got me the stilyaggimishi papers instead like i said wasnt there so not sure :P
*lawls* I dont think Silence will ever get to merchant *nods*
Percy Silvershaper |
Just let me know when I can mess up his day some more. :)
Zsestrian Raven |
So, we make a shopping list in the meantime so we can be ready to take on the dragon as soon as we're done?
Let's see...two magic items that I wanted to grab for Zses were an Headband of Vast Intelligence or a Cackling blouse: however, the second is way too costly (and I hope to loot it from a dead witch body <.<), and the first is up there too, even if I have some 2300 GP saved up as I didn't buy anything since the start. <.<
As I'm now, I'll probably pick an handy haversack to have fast access to scrolls and stuff like that: speaking of which, I think I'll also look for some spells to add to my feathered spellbook.
What did you guys wanted to buy?
Percy Silvershaper |
I haven't thought about it yet, honestly. I don't even know how much money we each have.
Lyosha Neverhome |
*shrugs*
'Silence' |
magic on the katana if we have the time *nods* and a master work leather crafting kit *Nods some more* Maybe some armor that *sighs* doesnt make me stick out like a sore this guy is totally not from here at all thumb. Flowers, via carved, sculpted grown or otherwise created
Zsestrian Raven |
Here's the list: I don't think we looted anything else since the temple.
This time, let's try to calculate everything before moving on. :P
Looking at the list right now for things to bin.
Zsestrian Raven |
Ok, what about selling:
x2 Potion of Interrogation
x2 Potion of Reduce Person
Robe of Useful Items
Insidious Bear Trap?
Bladed Belt
x2 Ring of Feather Falling
MW Greatsword, Shortspear, x2 light crossbows
Engraved Scroll case
x4 Fire Opal
Also, pretty sure that both the Cloak of Resistence and the Ring of Protection were taken: who has them?
Hobbes 'Rat Trap' Bitterleaf |
Sounds good. Though I think that since a few of us have some really expensive items, we should exclude them from a few payouts until it evens out.
Percy Silvershaper |
As far as I know I have no items beyond the clothes Hobbes gave me and the gear I started with.
Your Benevolent Dictator |
My suggestion would be to do some weapon/armor upgrading and let Zses buy a few spells. I don't think there's enough wealth in the pool to really start doing the rest of the "Big 6," but I could be mistaken. Unfortunately, you're a bit behind in WBL (one of the ways I'm balancing for a 9-member party), so all the fancy exciting items are generally too expensive to be realistic purchases right now.
Of course, the final distribution is up to you. If you want to pool the party's money and buy a broom of flying or something, that's entirely within your prerogative. ;-)
Zsestrian Raven |
So, the total value of the stuff I proposed would be 22421 GP: assuming the usual half value, that's 11210 GP to split. Anyone had anything else that they think could be sold? In the meantime, I'm going over to see for some spells to look for: maybe there's something cool in Occult Adventures...
Percy Silvershaper |
So far I don't need anything. My DC's seem to be holding.
Your Benevolent Dictator |
In this case, I'll let you sell everything for full price. Gives each of you approximately 2500gp to play with. You'll still be under WBL, but that should help you catch up a little.
Regarding Occult Adventures, until it shows up online, nothing's allowed. Stuff's starting to appear on the d20PFSRD, though, so it shouldn't be much longer. Still, I'll want to approve any spells from there, as I know of at least one that's kind of ridiculous *cough*mental block*cough*
Lyosha Neverhome |
... yeah, I kinda see what they meant to do with that spell.... but the actual spell itself? Brrrr...
Zsestrian Raven |
I think that mental block is mostly badly written: when I read it, I thought it was supposed to be "Hold Person, just that screws with casters targeting their strong save".
Instead, it turns off every ability ever. <.<
However, there are some really cool spells: Explode Head lets you, well, explode heads, and Deja Vu is the most awesome thing ever. Shame Zses can't pick either of those. :(
I was thinking about picking up Paranoia, a level 2 spell, but I can wait: I can just pick it up with the FCB next level!
My shopping list looks like this...
Scrolls:
level 1)Darting Duplicate, Hex Ward
level 2)Spectral Hand
level 3)Bestow Curse (I suppose they throw them left and right here <.<)
Headband of vast Intelligence
That's 4000+100+150+375= 4625 GP! With the money I had before, I can pay it just fine.
Percy Silvershaper |
If we have that much cash, I would be totally ok with getting a headband of sexy. A cha of 20 is never a bad thing. :)
Zsestrian Raven |
I know. :3 It's a very nice Oh Crap button that stays useful for a lot of time: the Melee Tactics toolbox had a lot of cool things like that.
Now that i think about that, could Blade Tutor's Spirit be useful to Ered?
Speaking of which, where is he? D:
