Male Human AC 17 - HP 44 - Passive: 10 - Init: +1 Fighter - 5 Battlemaster

::claps for Jake:: I lol'd

sorry, I had assumed that flanking grants advantage.

NPC: F Elf

Right now, pre DMG, there isn't anything like flanking, other than Helping, which sort of requires one character not attacking but in a "flanking" position

Indubitably Never 3d6

What Jake said, plus

Rogues get to make sneak attacks when they have advantage OR if a friendly character that is not incapacitated is within 5' of the enemy, but that's the closest thing there is to flanking. Since that's presented as a specific instance where the rogue gets a sneak attack when they don't have advantage, it makes sense that flanking doesn't give advantage.

Indubitably Never 3d6

The bad news is, I'll be on the road til Wednesday. Posting will be lean.

Also, isn't Help a bonus action? So if you're engaged in melee and want to assist someone else and are not using your bonus action for anything like an off hand attack, might as well say you're helping or aiding also.

Indubitably Never 3d6

I don't believe Help is a bonus action. At least it doesn't say anything to that effect in the PH.

Yup, you're right, helping or aiding is an action same as attacking.

Hey, in my laziest of efforts to not look things up myself, are we responsible for tracking xp or will you just let us know if we gain a level.

Did anyone want the healing I offered?

I'll take it though I'm passed out and probably having slightly better dreams than before

I'm not going to touch you while you're sleeping. I have rules.

I'll take it, but
Broken water pipe, be back when I can get more time

Jake's healing: 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

@ Wintermoon, Not really tracking XP, since we're just playing the one adventure. If everyone wants to keep it going after this adventure, we'll go from there.

direwolf:
Dire Wolf: AC14, HP:37/37, PassPerc 18 /Init +5/ DC13 / Str+3, Dex+2, Con+2, Int*+4, Wis*+8, Chr-2

Ok, just wanted to make sure. Druids get some enticing things at 6 and I wanted to be prepared.

I would be interested in continuing afterwards. I like our party composition so far.

Breton Thaumaturge 1 | HP: 12/12 | AC: 11, T: 11, FF: 10 | Fort: +3, Ref: +1, Will: +2 | CMB: +0, CMD: 11 | Init: +1, Perception: +0 | SP: 5/5 | Speed: 30ft

Let's see who survives first.

direwolf:
Dire Wolf: AC14, HP:37/37, PassPerc 18 /Init +5/ DC13 / Str+3, Dex+2, Con+2, Int*+4, Wis*+8, Chr-2

Can you explain the benefits of a long rest, I don't have a book with me. Is it full hp restored? and the effects of being bitten?

Breton Thaumaturge 1 | HP: 12/12 | AC: 11, T: 11, FF: 10 | Fort: +3, Ref: +1, Will: +2 | CMB: +0, CMD: 11 | Init: +1, Perception: +0 | SP: 5/5 | Speed: 30ft

Full HP, restore used hit dice (up to half of max).

Also, GM mentioned necrotic damage penalties go away after long rest. And of course spells & such return.

NPC: F Elf

wait, there's no tea? I was told there'd be tea, and cake.

Indubitably Never 3d6

There's no punch and pie, either. Just fog.

darn vampires always pull the bait and switch.

Indubitably Never 3d6

Giving people a little time to react. If you're all just waiting on me, grunt or something.

NPC: F Elf

Jake grunts from very far away
*grunt*

Indubitably Never 3d6

Well, that's over.

Sorry for the delay, Thanksgiving took a lot more out of me than I had expected. On with the show.

NPC: F Elf

Me as well, had a son drive into town from Boise with his wife, and they stayed all week, I think things have finally calmed down.

I haven't stopped doing yard work yet... HOLIDAYS!! :(

NPC: F Elf

Now that has got to be worth some inspiration right there, don't you think!

Indubitably Never 3d6

Inspiration for doing yard work? Seems flimsy, but I suppose because he's a druid. Wintermoon gets inspiration.

NPC: F Elf

Yes! yea for Wintermoon.

lol

Thanks? I guess I was subconsciously LARPing.

NPC: F Elf

I hope our DM is alright, and we see him soon. Three posts in a week seems like a bad sign

Just a heads up: I currently have the stomach flu, so I am kinda in and out of consciousness. I am feeling better and should be able to pick up tomorrow.

NPC: F Elf

*Knock, Knock*

NPC: F Elf

If, by my actions, or the way I play this character has in anyway stalled this game I apologize to all of you. I will drop out if this is the case and the rest of you need to get moving again without me

male

What the heck happened to everybody?

Breton Thaumaturge 1 | HP: 12/12 | AC: 11, T: 11, FF: 10 | Fort: +3, Ref: +1, Will: +2 | CMB: +0, CMD: 11 | Init: +1, Perception: +0 | SP: 5/5 | Speed: 30ft

I was going to make a joke about how you kill games, but I didn't know if it was going to come across as funny, so I canceled the draft.

male

Are we going to try and contact our DM or is everyone just walking away from this one?

How many HP does Jim have again, hmmm where did I put those Magic traps

Breton Thaumaturge 1 | HP: 12/12 | AC: 11, T: 11, FF: 10 | Fort: +3, Ref: +1, Will: +2 | CMB: +0, CMD: 11 | Init: +1, Perception: +0 | SP: 5/5 | Speed: 30ft

Hoho! Injustice!
I'm afraid when games go dormant like this, usually the best thing to do is simply stop posting. If the GM posts again, the game may be saved (or officially closed). If he/she does not, the game will close after a set amount of time. If players keep bumping it without the GM, the game will stay open indefinitely while moving nowhere, which is the last thing I (anyone?) want(s).
