The goblins in the cave change their tactics a bit which actually resembles some order. The goblins leave P 7 and 8 so the evil folks who are ransacking their home can enter the gauntlet. While the archers shoot at Argrim and Rammellorn.

Three goblins with long bows shoot into the at Argrim,

I can't update the map right now form this computer. It's a different version of maptools and it won't read the other maptools map on my thumb drive.

The four in the back of the cave have the longbows, the others near the entrance all have melee weapons.

I'll wait for the map update. I want to know where P8 went. What would be the penalty for Argrim striking O8 & Q8, since they're next to the corner? What cover bonus are you giving Argrim for the longbows firing through/over their melee brethren, any? I'm trying to figure out if the risk of getting mauled is worth a war of attrition at the bottleneck. Thanks.

The first goblin that was in P8 is dead, he was replaced by a second goblin and that goblin is now dead. Rammellorn's killed it last round with his long axe. The goblins in Q7 is 10 feet away so he is not in melee with Argrim. O8 does not threaten melee because of the corner. Argrim not being threatened in melee so he is not getting any bonuses from the archer.

Rammellorn picked up cover because Argrim is in front of him that was reflected in the dice roll.

The goblin haloed in white shot at Rammellorn. The three goblins in red shot at Argrim. The goblins in yellow have melee weapons.

I forgot to mention this to Karnog when he probed the southern tunnel in his combat. Karnog you would noticed that the south cave tunnel is a bit wider 4 to 5 feet. At least from what your were able to see.

Encouraged by the attrition into the cave, Vatilda readies her mace and pushes past Rammellorn and next to Argrim... leading with her shield, and hugging the left wall. She re-purposes the fear in her guts and alarms in her head into fuel for her adrenalin.

Nibb you don't see any movement to the North or South of the tunnel but to your East it is hectic with activity. YOur party has moved forward a 5 feet into the the actual cave. the sound of battle can be heard.
