Only 10 complete submissions made it through on time. My selection, again, will be between 4 and 6. So you've got about a 40% chance of being selected, barring circumstantial modifiers.
Thank you all for great submissions, and I wish I could really end up picking a few more than 5 or 6, unfortunately I can't since it would get a bit unwieldy after that point.
I hope my choices will be pleasing.
Any particular reason Gabr Mos'ata was excluded from consideration? I hope to use him at some point or another so it would be good to know if I've missed something vital that will prevent him from ever being chosen for a game. So, after I took time to look over all the submissions, I've come up with my (mostly) final list.
Magnus Tate will be the Arcane support of the party. I've always had a soft spot for Dragon Disciples, and the good quality of your app pushed you above the others.
Theragul will be the party cleric. Originally I was going to pick Jeanne for this spot, however the Tiefling managed to sneak in as Divine caster.
Ranald runs in mostly unopposed. As he was the only Trapfinder within the applications, he was pretty much guaranteed a spot. However, this does not mean his application was lackluster, oh no.
Jean D'Fleur, with a lovely backstory and a lovely plot hook easily manages to get into the party. The first frontliner of the group, I look forward to running a game with my second-ever Paladin. (PMs will be incoming about a more detailed code)
Tark, our Dwarven friend, manages to get in mostly due to his already extant RP. I enjoyed reading his app, and that's why our somewhat stereotypical Dwarf is in the group.
And finally, our sixth member is Gabr. Seems I have a thing for grabbing people that went out of the initial list, but that does not degrade the quality of their applications. I also wanted to include at least one ranged fighter, as you guys will probably need it in the adventures to come.
