Captain Olivia Quinn
"Toss me the spent battery. Might as well recharge it."
Pretty sure you all know that her armor has a Backup Generator Upgrade
rando1000
Sharlavaka considered the area, and moved to the closest niche with an object. Looking, but not touching.
[dice=Perception]1d20+6
The first item is a silver amulet on a chain, with a topaz shaped like a shield in the center.
Eshenvral Kothiavus
Without even acknowledging the events leading up to why the battery was discharged, he handed it off to his captain. Then he proceeded to take a look around the room, the amulet specifically.
Detect magic
Eshenvral Kothiavus
"Fascinating. An amulet of Natural Armor, still intact an functional..."
Captain Olivia Quinn
Quinn catches the battery, then plugs it into her armor's charging port.
"Interesting find. Makes me wonder what treasures might have been left on the planet Earth back home."
rando1000
The group finds the following other items:
Wand of Hold Person (29 charges)
Ring of Resistant Armor (3 times/day)
Magic Breastplate (Level 6, +6 EAC +4 KAC +3 Max Dex; counts as modern armor)
Boots of Speed (+1 bonus to AC, +30' movement rate, one additional attack when making full attacks; usable 10 rounds per day)
Headband of Inspired Wisdom +2
Gloves of Dexterity +2
It takes a couple hours for Esh and Quinn to gather this information about the items. Irina spends that time resting and injecting the android with appropriate nutrients.
Unexpectedly, you hear a *clang* noise out in the wider suite of rooms you are currently exploring.
Sharlavaka
Sharkavaka clicked appreciatively over the boots, intrigued by the possibilities.
When the clang! occured, the Vesk turned his head and tries to focus, hunting for its source.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Eshenvral Kothiavus
"...!" Esh starts at the noise, turning towards it with a determined look, before bringing a finger to his lips to signal continued silence. His elven ears twitched, trying to hone in on just what might be out there...
Perception: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 2 = 21
rando1000
Eshenvral Kothiavus
The elf holds out a hand, light starting to flicker into being like a vompjter being turned on. Within a second a holographic map showing a rough estimation of the fortress is shown. Their position is marked within a room, while an area just outside their room is highlighted.
Using a control to create a minor holographic image. Its essentially the map you linked.
Sharlavaka
Sharlavaka began to head towards the noise, heavy weapon swinging as he hunted for threats. His finger remained off the trigger, so he wouldn't accidentally shoot someone friendly. But the unfriendly would find he could move that finger quite quickly.
Eshenvral Kothiavus
Image vanishing from his hands, Esh follows behind the large Vesk and proceeds to draw his own weapon. There was no use talking him down from a direct encounter.
rando1000
You see a 10-foot long gray lizard with four large wide feet and sapphire-gold bulging eyes stares. Its head is angular and somewhat flat and its mouth sports a row of long, serrated teeth.
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
It definitely sees you, as well.
Initiative:
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Captain Olivia Quinn
Quinn makes sure no crew are in the way, then breathes a cone of acid at the lizard!
Black Wyrmling Gland, DC 10 Ref for half: 3d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 3) = 11
Sharlavaka
Sharlavaka made an aggressive clicking noise and opened up with the massive laser, advacing to the front as usual.
To Hit: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
rando1000
Esh identifies the creature as some variety of ancient cave lizard, albeit a particularly large example. He does not believe it has any particularly unusual abilities or defenses, except maybe it's extra-hard hide (KAC > 15).
Sharlavaka's shot hits the creature solidly, and seems to cause damage as expected.
Eshenvral Kothiavus
"Just a lizard. Ancient, yes, but a lizard nonetheless... How did it survive for so long is the real question."
Esh waves out a hand, envisioning a cage starting to form around the lizard. His magic seeps into the air, and starts to bend photons in such a way that an iron cage starts to take shape around the creature, with a solid wall forming making up the wall facing their captain. He knew that it would probably only act as a momentary distraction.
Holographic image, DC 17 to disbelieve.

"Just a lizard. Ancient, yes, but a lizard nonetheless... How did it survive for so long is the real question."
That's what I was thinking. What has there been for it to eat?
rando1000
Quinn waits patiently to see what happens. The cave lizard leaps backward, hoping to avoid being caged in. It succeeds, in its own mind assuming it has broken though the barrier, and runs off toward the stairs behind where it came from.
Suddenly, Isis reactivates, her android soul having just escaped from the realm in which it was held.
SerpentViolet
Rando, plz describe what Isis initially perceives. I assume she's recumbent. Maybe off in a corner?
Thnx, I'm glad to be back.
rando1000
Isis would have been standing, her body's stops guided by Irina until she drew her needle pistol. So, you're probably near the rear of the circle on the map, away from combat.
Isis activates just as the cave lizard is making its departure up the stairs. The rest of the party is splayed out in combat formation across the large hall. Though it seemed like she was done for days, Isis' internal clock immediately informs her she is only missing about an hour's time from her memory.
The combat now over, the party is free to either pursue the cave lizard, or continue exploring the suite of rooms they are now in.
Eshenvral Kothiavus
"...Area temporarily secured." Eshenvral comments with hesitation. "Orders, captain?"
SerpentViolet
Isis opens her eyes wide and some servos flinch. "I'm back! Hello everyone. You won't believe where I've been. I have good news; I've been granted three wishes." [Rando, insert wishes here in your best phrasing as we discussed if you've still got my notes.]
"Esh, I'm damaged from my adventures. Do you have a simple spell that would heal me a little?"
Eshenvral Kothiavus
Eshenvral blinked, rather slowly. "...Wishes? Don't be ridiculous. Such high magic hasn't been prevelant in a thousand years."
Furrowing his brow however, the elf looked to the spot on his waist whete he was keeping the deck. "But then again, it's evident that this structure has already had it's fair share of ancient and forgotten magic. Explain the circumstances of how this came to be."

[As I recall from a private session:]
"I was quested to fjord a stream, scale a mountain, and defeat various creatures in order to free a man who was also trapped in the spirit realm and myself as well by securing a precious gem. In return I also got three wishes." [@Rando, does she still possess the gem, and will she be casting her wishes on it?]| SerpentViolet |
“Okay, here goes.” Isis grasped the shiny red jewel and intoned:
“I wish for Zothune’s most populous city to be instantly and throughout time of need be granted a dome force field with a power source for it, with closable apertures available for starships, vehicles, and people, assuming such technology exists.”
“I wish for Zothune to be instantly and thru time of need be granted three strategically placed, well-stocked orbiting missile defense platforms.”
“For myself, I wish to immediately have my Mark 1 dexterity-enhancing nanites perpetually replaced with Mark 2 nanites.”
“This should really help against the Azlanti. I assume outlying communities can be relocated to the now protected capital, given room to house refugees. Plus I’m more nimble!”
Eshenvral Kothiavus
His eyebrow raiises, ever so slightly. "...So you say. Captain, there still may be numerous valuables with in this structure if you wish to proceed"
SerpentViolet
Isis volunteered. "I'll take point." Once Captain Quinn tells her where to go she scouts ahead with Stealth and darkvision.
Perception 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15 Stealth 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (11) + 17 = 28
rando1000
Tell you what. Rando, just give me a map and I'll decide.
Look up 12 posts. There's a map of the area, you're near the blue circle. Your team has only explored the room off the double doors near the lower left.
SerpentViolet
If I'm understanding the map accurately, Isis takes the door across from the double door room we're in. First she checks for traps. Perception 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
rando1000
Isis notices something weird about the door hinges. She's uncertain, considering traps like this aren't really made anymore, but she's pretty sure if you were to enter this room without somehow securing the door, it would snap shut, trapping you inside.
rando1000
Isis is pretty certain her attempts have failed. It is possible you could enter the room by just holding the door open somehow to keep it from locking behind you, or that you could simply destroy the door, but the trap seems strangely beyond her skill to overcome.
