My first thought about a ship name... "Eminence Front".

Also, in the spirit of full disclosure... how would telescopic interact/counteract this from Battlefleet? Telescopic eliminates range penalties... maybe keeps them normal?

How do we handle general stuff like ammo, grenades, other minor gear etc.?
If by the book - once acquired, it is assumed you have a reasonable amount.
3x reloads, 3x grenades (for an outing)... replenish once you get back on board. Assumption is you not only acquired but ensures a normal supply.

Do we have a danger room, holo deck or training facilities? Pietro is the commander in chief, who if anyone is responsible for the troops on board?
Jene would want to help train characters or troops (would that give them a bonus?), as well as personal training. She's got a low 26 fellowship, but Peer (military), Officer on Deck and ship grants Eyes Everywhere +10.
Jene is a combat character, but has scum/assassin tendencies (Dark Heresy), is there anything she could do to earn Concealment or Shadowing earlier? Training, practice, etc...
Want to be careful as player/character not to step on Void Master's toes.

The ship has a functioning munitorium, as well as barracks for a significant amount of ground troops.
I am assuming it has training facilities appropriate for at least small-scale (squad-level?) engagements, and enough ammo to handle pretty much any live-fire exercises you can come up with.
If you REALLY want to live dangerously, the Murder-Servitors are also potentially available to go against, but I would not recommend that for my command staff (aka, PCs don't really wanna get splattered by kill-bots before we even really get to the adventure parts...)
How big is this puppy... Landing bays for shuttle/fighters? Med-bay?
Mud-servs later, need a couple of talents... But you'll miss them.

Did we lose Juxxie, our Void Master? Don't mean to pry... and it's only been a couple of days. Just wondering if they're not seeing the activity.

I like rolling 2d10, as it more closely stimulated rolling 2d10. LOL.
So, 27 vs. 45... We'd say "2 degrees of success"? Or "1 extra degree of success" ? GM preference for consistency?

I just like you having 3-4 levels of success. Others were doing it too... Personally I have trouble with a good way to format the roll.

depends. what do you have in mind?
Just something to crossover from Void Master, if we don't have one. Haven't looked, yet... Being from Battlefleet, there could be logical synergies.
Off the top of my head, access to certain piloting, certain lore or advanced versions of them. Might even be just earlier access, to stuff arch-militants get later.

My plan is to execute most of them on the spot, and keep a few for interrogation and later display on other sections. They won't last long, but maybe long enough to serve as a deterrent to others.
Why does the captain sound like a emperor-boot licking sicko-phant? Who's gonna put the rogue in rogue trader? And is this how the whole campaign is going to be... Murder, slaughter, emperor, tico, taco, ya-ya-ya?

Mostly because he's pretty much a brand new Rogue Trader who served as a naval officer for years and years.
Indoctrination is often hard to overcome.
Besides, our "adventure" thus far has comprised being caught in 2 warp storms, having our ship compromised by who knows what, and the engines being turned off.
What's an adventure without a little drama, right?
