What character will you play? Lvl 2-4

Are people okay with using roll20? there are more than a few maps, and it would be easiest with roll20.net.

Aasimar Gunslinger1/Sorcerer1 if it matters. After I rebuild if needed, I will get the character sheet somewhere where you can see it.

EDIT:Just in time to edit, no rebuild necessary, Guntank/Empyreal it is. Character sheet is linked in profile, just need to put in a few more things (ammo). And yes, I have 25% Arcane spell failure, so I may need to look for alternatives for armor.

This is Hawkwen's PC, newly rebuilt.

roll20 is fine. I've used it to play PFS and run my home game.

I'm looking at a 3 or 4. The 3 is an archer, and the 4 is a melee. I can use whichever one is needed more.

roll20 works for me. I have played in many other that use. I just can't access it usually during the day, because I'm posting from my mobile, but I usually stop by the house at lunch and check then.

You people might be informed that Linark have a problem in cooperating with evil beings, and undead aberrations are to be exterminated on sight, so I might bring us into some trouble with the crew, but that depends on the scenario.

I have a CLW wand with some charges expended. Does anyone have healing capabilities?

Potion Sponge: This egg-sized sponge is covered in a layer of waterproof edible wax, designed to absorb 1 dose of a potion. Chewing a potion sponge and swallowing its liquid contents is a full-round action. A creature of at least Large size can swallow the sponge in its entirely; other creatures must spit out the sponge once it’s depleted (a free action). Unlike a potion that is drunk from a vial, a potion sponge can be used underwater. A potion can be poured from a vial into a sponge potion (or squeezed from a sponge into a vial) as a full-round action.
The potion sponge is immune to attacks that specifically target crystal, glass, ceramic, or porcelain, such as shatter.
It otherwise works like a potion vial.

It costs 2GP and assumes that you CANNOT drink a regular potion underwater.
Depending on what underwater option we choose this is a very good option.

good find. will say you need a potion sponge for underwater. magic will be tricky i suppose...

He could play a level 4 pregen and apply the pregen credit to a level 1 pc as per the guide.

No I did not, I was expecting to see a post saying it was up and wasn't checking to see if there wa a gameplay thread yet, been wondering if something had been holding us up.

How does casting spells underwater work?

from what i can see:

Casting spells while submerged can be difficult for those who cannot breathe underwater. A creature that cannot breathe water must make a concentration check (DC 15 + spell level) to cast a spell underwater (this is in addition to the caster level check to successfully cast a fire spell underwater). Creatures that can breathe water are unaffected and can cast spells normally.

I have played one session with him, that's it. I thought you could play up 1 level or play down 1 level upon GM's discretion.

If necessary, I'd be fine playing with one of the Pre-Gen's.

Unfortunately this is a Level 2-4, so if you don't have a LEGAL character on that level you may use a Pregen, and apply the credit on you character. Do you know how does the society rules for leveling works?

Yes 3 complete sessions per level.
This is my second character, I have played a total of 10(I think) Society PbP here.

I think this Sorcerer is jinxed. This the third session he has not been able to complete, the other two the GM has quit/canceled the games.

I have a level 2(1 session short of 3) Inquisitor who is participating in another PbP at this time otherwise I'd play him.

As far as the pregens go, any preference as to what I should play?

I just wanted to support the Warhorn PFS online convention. My Inquisitor is currently in a campaign from that site and was hoping to run one with my Sorcerer as well.

I can look for another game, it is no big deal. It sucks being stuck at level 1 for so long.

I think Kyra, Lini or Merisiel are a great option for a Pregen, depending on what role do you want to play. Lina now comes with a healing wand, i believe.

And btw Zedril, since you cannot use your sorcerer at this game, pick a pregen to play with us and speak the with gm on this game. They are a player short and don't want to lose the time looking for one, but if you say you are available maybe they will let you join.

If someone wants to pick up a Wand of Air Bubble, Johender will pick up a wand of Touch of the Sea for 2PP.

Yes, There is.

You can't split cost in PFS. Johender will spend 4 PP to pick up both a Air Bubble and Touch of the Sea wands. It fits his character.

Rene, how big is the island? Do we have an estimate if we are going to spend more than one day there?

You can make a kn: geography check to see if you have heard about the island. It will be a high DC, as it is one of hundreds in the Shackles.

Not even trained, so I'll just guess I haven't heard of it...Linark prefer dry lands...

knowledge geography: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

I would like to apply the holiday boon to Talfryn, I am picking the cloak, but if I am reading the wording right I do not have to use the cloak right now.

As much as I understand you may assign the sheet, but once you start using the boon it will be gone after the end of it.

I'm not sure if I can apply it to only one character or to all of them. So I'll wait a bit, but it sounds like a nice, limited boon. We could all use it, since this "scenario" is longer than the others.

Holiday Boons can only be applied to a single PC.

Twigg will pick up a potion sponge of Touch of Water (x2) and Air bubble

Talfryn will spend 2 PP to purchase a wand of Air Bubble as well, mainly because he can activate it and does not expect the other wand to be used on his gun.

He will also spend 200 gold on Masterwork Armored Coat, he will still have a speed reduction for wearing medium armor as well as spell failure (though he can remove the armor faster if need be for casting spells) but will have a lower armor check penalty, I will be selling his Hide armor for back for 7.5 GP (I keep track of silver on all my characters).
