For those of you entering the Wardens Tower you see a ell stocked library on the first floor. You do not see anything of immediate value on this level, just lots of books that will burn well. After you ascend to the next level you see what appears to be a more private collection. If anyone wants to roll Perception, K(Arcana), K(Geography), K(Nature) or Appraise to see if you notice anything of value in his upper level chambers fell free to roll.

And how do you plan on transporting more than 3 books as we run? Well all we have is our hands and that make shift bag lillith has. sorry for the long post but how do you guys plan on taking more than 2 books a piece? We don't have any easy way to take them

You see an alchemy lab, some nice set of clothes in the Wardens bedroom and a desk with a locked drawer.You also find a map of the Old Moor Road area.

Wade grabs a map and shows it angrily to the raging brute before snagging the clothes and asks whoever has the lock picks to open this drawer
whoever has them wade will cast guidance on before looking for anything of value in the alchemy lab (unless it's portable in which case he'll just grab it)

While breaking into the lock he says to bracnos "so let me get this strait, you'd go into town and ask someone nicely for the map, hoping they don't arrest you?"
did your second roll include the bonus from guidance?

Bracnos torches the tower which goes up quickly due to the number of books in the library. In a few minutes as the team starts to make their way back towards the Gatehouse the tower is fully ablaze and more torches from the mainland town can be seen.

the flames you see from the town are torches that are moving around. most likely villagers curious as to what occurred in the prison. There was a fair sized battle and now there is a large bonfire that used to be a tower...the town is not set ablaze...yet...
Looking at the map, you discover you need to cross the bridge and exit the town. You could bypass the town by diving into the water below requiring some heady checks and sever penalties if you fail... like almost guaranteed death unless i roll all ones for damage...

Those members of the party that put on uniforms (Graz, Bracnos, Syldran, Wade as of right now) and those that do not make their way from the Gatehouse down the bridge to the mainland guardhouse. Zyx sets the Gatehouse on fire. The closer they get to the guardhouse the louder the commotion is. About 90 feet in the darkness of night, you all see a large figure wielding a two handed weapon standing over the remains of 2 guards and 2 guard dogs. The large figure is bloodied and shouting at the gathered townsfolk to stay away. There are already three dead townsfolk at his feet and two more limping away with wounds. The gathered crowd has some weapons out and torches in their hands. The large figure (you recognize as Harken) laughs at the townsfolk and grabs a bottle of alcohol from the belt of a dead man and chugs some of the liquid down his throat before insulting the townsfolk again. The closer you get the towsnfolk seem elated there are more guards approaching, but then as you are 30 feet away the closer townsfolk move back in fear since all of the guards are human and you that are approaching are mostly not. Plus there is an Ogre trotting behind the lot of you.

Power of suggestion
People trust your words over their own eyes.

Benefit: You may make a Bluff check to make observers believe that an object in your possession is actually a different object entirely. The DC for the check is 20 for items of a similar size, shape, and color (such as a glaive and a quarterstaff). Items of a different shape, size, or color raise the DC by 5 for each dissimilar aspect, or more if the dissimilarity is extreme. This deception lasts 1 minute; if the item is still in view, the observers may recognize their error unless you make another bluff check.

If you rule the we are more dissimilar to the guards than a glave is to a quarterstaf then they still believe my words as per the normal bluff
