Magma bubbles to the surface throughout the area here and lava flows about in wide-ranging rivers across the burning fields. Some inactive tunnels do show signs of habitation, and the crackling sound of Ignan-speaking voices echoes against the obsidian formations. Kaya grimaces at all of the lava. For all she's disguised to look like a human, the last thing she wants is for her fur to actually ignite. Ugh. She dropped her rapier - gently - and drew out a sling. It was already wrapped around a bullet - she always put it away thus to avoid having to go dig for the bullet too - so she began to wind up immediately.
She aimed for the second ifrit, seeing as that foe wasn't going to put an ally between them.

"Damn powder. Could it be this area? The mix should be fine, maybe a touch more..." Jogun mutters to himself not speaking to anyone in particular but not so quiet that you can't hear. While muttering he removes the offending musket round with well practised fingers.

You can quaff your endure elements potion if you did not do that already or
Make a Fortitude (DC 15) or take 1d4 points of nonlethal damage.
Characters wearing heavy clothing or armor of any sort take a –4 penalty on their saves. A character with the Survival skill may receive a bonus on this saving throw and might be able to apply this bonus to other characters as well (see the Survival skill)
You take a moment to take stock of the situation and decide to press forward.
You are free to heal in between encounters, I assume you stay in the current area unless you tell me you want to switch before the next encounter.

A crashed vessel of shining metal stands in sharp contrast to the lurid reds and blacks of the igneous landscape. Scorch and claw marks ravage the hull, but a fiery propulsion system seems mostly intact and juts toward the stars at an angle.
Thanks to the damage it took upon crashing, the vessel has seen its last flight, but the engines remain surprisingly intact. Now that they've a moment to actually breathe in the environment, Kaya immediately draws the potion of endure elements from its spot in her belt pouch and downs it, not wanting to have to... endure the elements any more than necessary.
She retrieved her rapier and slipped another bullet in her sling before pocketing it.
When they met the gnome, she was relieved - they hadn't gone her preferred route, but at least they'd met someone familiar - to them, anyways. Anything that wasn't trying to kill them was a definite bonus.
Still, going into a strange ship? Kaya shuddered and kept her rapier in hand - just in case. As it was, when the strange creatures appeared, she had to swallow down the yelp that tried to climb out of her throat. All of her instincts demanded she cut and run - this was no natural creation.
Fight won out over flight - she attempted to stab at one of the creatures, trying to tease out a weak point.

★ - OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT - ★
Sorrina Westyr urgently projects her image to speak to every Pathfinder, and appears to be holding tightly to a steel ring near an alien device. “Everyone, brace yourselves. We have finished repairs of a strange craft on the bright side of the asteroid, and the engines will fire shortly, hopefully causing this rock to spin and even out the extreme temperatures. This may get a bit bumpy though in three…two…one... Hold on!”
A sudden jolt shakes the entire asteroid, sending anything unsecured reeling as the stars begin to spin overhead.
Table GMs, the Engines benefit is now in play. Vroooooom!

"W-woah!" Kaya takes a moment to do as Sorrina says, surprised by the image that had appeared. Combat really wasn't the best time for announcements! Still, at least it meant they were making progress - that was something to be happy for.

The party has no problem with the last of the aliens as multiple attacks destroy the foe. On closer inspection by the team it is obvious that they have been dead for a while.
Looking around the area you find six of the weird armors, quickly deducing that they protect the wearer from the vacuum of space. Unfortunately they are all medium sized, to adjust them for halflings or gnomes would take some effort Craft (armor, cloth, or leather)
You find a projectile weapon but are unsure as to how to operate it at the moment.
The ship also carries a store of medical supplies, including four potions of endure elements, two potions of cure light wounds, and a potion of remove disease. available for taking
The ship's engines are low on power and have several damaged and disconnected components, yet they are reparable. You can coax the engines to life either by supercharging them with energy or by piecing back together the machinery.
As you move to inspect it further the engines make noise as if alive leading you to believe another group sent over with you all started them up...

GM Qwerty |

You move on and come upon an other area with red hot stones. You know enough now to understand that standing on areas that are covered in red hot lava will incur damage to your body and advise each other to avoid such contact.
Off in the distance you see a strange, plantlike creature that floats above the stones, basking in the heat of the unrelenting sun.

"I can carry the weapon, if nobody else wants to?"
Feeling ineffectual, Fentar is eager to help.

Razdin takes one of the healing potions, endure elements potions, and an armor before the group sets out for their next destination. "Anyone know what in the world that could be?" He says as he points to the plant like creature and pulling out his crossbow as a precaution.

Kaya also snags one of the armors, eyeing it dubiously. Still, as Fentar had said, it was good to have things just in case.
"Well, it seems like the others have gotten a bit ahead of us," Kaya said. She approved of Fentar's self-care. It was important that they be able to keep him up, seeing as he served the vital function of, you know, keeping them up.
When he snagged the weapon, she gave pause. "I don't think I ought to take it, seeing as I'm usually in the midst of things. If it doesn't get in your way, I see no problem with carrying it along, but don't be afraid to drop it immediately if it's inhibiting you."
When they started onwards, Kaya squinted at the strange creature in the distance.
"Does anyone have any idea what that thing is?"

Huck'll load up one of the fancy armors suit ma jigs before moving forward. "Let's not let all the monsta's get killed b'fore we get a chance at 'em!"

![]() |

Jogun picks up two potions and asks, "Can I take these? I can bandage up some minor wounds but having something a little more potent would be a great help. If we find some safer ground I'd like to take a look at that weapon."
While people look around Jogun cleans some carbon residue off his musket with a small cloth and reloads the weapon. Out of combat Jogun is more precise and he takes more time to measure everything out perfectly. "Could someone take a set of that armour for me? They don't look like they'll fit me but they must be here for a reason," ask Jogun as he puts away the cleaning cloth and stashes the two potions in a belt pouch.
I'd like to take a potion of endure elements and a potion of cure light wounds as I have no way of healing myself. I can't carry much more weight so if someone has space in their pack for a suit for me that would be grand.
