Before trying to open the door, Bizzle will cast Comprehend Languages, Fly and use his ioun stone to cast Protection from Evil on himself. Bizzle will offer to cast Invisibility or Fly on others if they wish to have it. Bizzle will also cast Haste right before the party actually opens the door as well.

you guys can place yourselves on the 4th map. Please. This is the last encounter. btw thanks to whomever added the color borders to the minotaurs last time. My graphics skills need work :)

Assuming you head down the hallway

Small piles of rubble cover the floor of this roughly hewn
rectangular room. Statues of bull-headed warriors in various
states of completion line the east and west walls, while a
double row of polished black stone columns form a path
down the center of the chamber. At the north end of the
room, a massive stone figure with the face of a snarling bull
rises from a pit carved into the floor. Flames flicker in the
hole, filling the air with the acrid scent of burning grease.
The bestial statue clutches an altar at the edge of the pit,
posed as though it were trying to wrench the stone pedestal
down into the chasm.

Umm... seems like there's some exposition missing somewhere.
Are there creatures in the room? I see two icons on the map, one looks like a minotaur, the other like a brimorak demon...
Is that's what's actually here? what knowledges might be apropos.
And are there just the two opponents?

And, as Vrald mentions, is initiative an issue? =)

Liberty's Edge

Sorry about that. Yes just 2 creatures in the room. I figured you guys would move to the edge of the corridor where you can see the minotaur and brimorak demon. I was giving you guys like 20 feet of movement "free" down the corridor then roll for initiative. Its my mix up. I'm still getting the feel for Pbp GMing even after 2 games. :)

let's hold off on the charge for now. No combat just yet...WAIT for it! :)

He holds his jackel-headed staff high for a moment, intoning a quick prayer to his god. He then will heal enough to bring him conscious!

Got lots of spells I can spontaneously heal with, just let me know which ones I need to use =)
Can also channel if we get the minotaur out of range. Use up all those wimpy d6 channels, and get the centaur and Hikaru =)

"Work your magic Doc."

Senzo continues to search the room, keeping an eye out for any hidden threats. (Will take 20 for a 35)

Liberty's Edge

The centaur awakens.

"What happened?" he cries "Who are you?"

Senzo detects no threats in the area.

"Hold still." Strang admonishes, as the centaur regains consciousness. "I am doctor Menes Strang, and some of those wounds of yours were rather deep. Try not to aggravate them any more then necessary."

"Nashota sent us. We'll have you up and uh... trotting?" He ponders proper centaur locomotion terms for a moment longer then probably necessary.

He then glances back at the others. "He should be alright to move on his own now. We can gather up the rest of the tribe members, and get out of here soon."

He will also take a quick look around with detect magic in case there's anything of note. The altar with strange demon iconography he finds especially interesting, and will examine it closely.

Whatever is appropriate...
Perception: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17

Liberty's Edge

The centaur stands and moves slowly. "Nashota sent you! Thank the gods. But she'll be amiss that I have lost some of my fellows that were captured with me." He glances over to the minotaur's body. "Is he DEAD?"

Dr Strang releases this is a temple to Baphomet. The chaotic evil god of minotaurs.

I don't know... is he? I'm sure a little 'medical treatment' can get him there easily enough =)

Strang glances at the dead minotaur. "Death has been known to be relative." He offers, going over to examine the tauric priest.

After a bit of poking and proding, he looks up. "It would seem he has moved on to report his failures to Baphomet."

Does he know the proper burial rituals for Baphomet followers? Perhaps tossing his body in the fiery pit at the end of the room?

Liberty's Edge

Dr Strang thinks that tossing the body in the pit would be fitting for a follower of Baphomet

"Ah good...I'm sure Nashota would want a trinket from his body? Perhaps an ear?" the centaur looks around. "Perhaps we should be moving on?"

"Works for me. A bit gruesome, but nothing wrong with that."

Liberty's Edge

You find no hidden passages or more treasure in the area. The centaur is glad as you head out of the temple into the hallway were his three fellows are waiting. After a few hours you're able to make your way out of the maze. You make your way out of the mine shaft and smell the fresh air of the countryside. The journey to Nashoba's camp is uneventful. She greets you as your arrive.

"SO Pathfinders did that minotaur give you a beating and your back to lick your wounds?! So don't look beaten?" she smiles.

"On the contrary! I feel like a million gold pieces! Check it out. I believe that box is checked."

Senzo then remembers that he is best when playing the strong silent type...

Dr. Strang raises one eyebrow at Nashota's response upon their return.

"Now, my dear, such rudeness is hardly necessary." He reprimands, frowning slightly. "We promised to see to these troubles that have been plaguing your people, and that we have done... and in the time frame you requested."

"Dahruun Firehorn has returned to the forgiving arms of his demonic patron, while Jerevyx also proved unwilling to be reasonable, so we had to clip her wings as well." He smiles slightly, as if he'd just made a joke. "All that, combined with Landel being convinced to go elsewhere, means all of your more immediate threats have been removed."

"We even got them to return your weapons, and pulled a few of your people out of Firehorn's mines." He waves absently towards the items and centaurs in question.

"All of that should at least merit a little more respectful commentary, don't you think?" He concludes.

Dunno if its needed, but:

Nashota smiles as she looks at her lance. "Well you're the resourceful pathfinder I've always heard about! I'd be glad to help fight in your Ruby Phoenix tournament. Let's head to that ship!"

The End!

chronicles

The scenario assumes that you bring back body parts of some of the foes like the drakes back to Nashota to earn favor points to get both prestige but I'm going to assume you did because it wasn't clear when you were talking to her that you're supposed to do that. But Dr Strang's diplomacy check is good enough considering you defeated all the foes and brought back the weapons. I reported the game
