As soon as our Fighter arrives we will start with the campaign.
You have the chance to speak about your characters maybe change a skill or feat here and there, and tell each other what do you do in Torch. Everybody has a NPC hook, and those who lifed in Torch for some time should have seen the others at least once or twice.
If there are other questions, about Numeria, Torch or more, do not hesitate to ask.

Hello everyone, I'm Iosif, also known as Sub-Optimal Prime. I know Iosif really takes the heal out of heal-bot. Android was not the best choice for an oracle, but I'm hoping that the concept will yield results, story-wise.

Iosif's main goal in combat is to provide buffs and support. Healing is not his forte. I'll make sure everyone is equipped with potions, something I'm sure our small-a alchemist can help with. When it comes to heal an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure spell.

As soon as possible we'll get a wand of cures and use it in-between combats to ensure everyone is in tip top shape. Once the weapons start flying look forward to Bless and then Summon Monster to act as blockers and shields.

You three are ranged, so it's going to be your job to ensure that any opposing ranged opponents don't rain hell down on the fighter and I. Iosif is durable, but not exactly front line material.

In any case, looking forward to taking down those Iron Gods with you guys.

Uran:
A pair of dwarves got drunk at the Foundry a few nights ago and went up to Black Hill to drink some of the sludge up
there on a dare. One of them grew a lot stronger for a few minutes after drinking the stuff, but the other one nearly
died after the fluids burnt a hole in his gut!

Aurora:
The Technic League is behind the problems in town. One of their agents put out the torch so we’ll all go broke and they
can take the place over for free!

Iosif:
Garritt the Junkmaster found something a few weeks ago that lit up his shack like a second torch. He’s been real quiet
lately. Wonder what he’s hiding in that junkyard?

Vanya:
You’ve heard of androids, right? There are a few of them living here in town, but they’re mostly harmless. Right?

In an effort to track down some of Councilor Khonnir Baine's movements before he disappeared Iosif has been very conspicuously asking questions around town. He's more than a bit awkward when doing so, but he manages to make up for it by being so friendly.

He hopes to talk to Sarenthra or the councilor's daughter at some point, but understands they are very busy. He also has met, in past visits to Torch, an old dwarf woman who is known for being superstitious, and wonders if she might know anything.

Someone died a few weeks ago at the Marrymaid, cut open from throat to gut. Wrennie’s hushed up the killing
because it’s bad for business, but I think she’s covering something up!

Iosif:
After a few drinks at the bar you overhear one of the smiths mention this to a friend: "Wonder what happened to that good-looking woman with the purple hair? Doesn’t anyone else find it strange that she showed up a few days before the torch went out, and that no one’s seen her since?" While shopping at the Market Square for a fresh fruits you hear the following:"There’s at least one Technic League spy in town, mark my words."

Uran is a new comer to town, having been here for only a few moths. He was found on the outskirts of town, nearly dead. Jhestine Imierin, the local healer, has spent the last several weeks nursing him back to health. Most of his personal effects were stolen, but a battered musket of weird manufacturing was found nearby.
Now that he is better, he has continued to hang about, talking to people about the Technic League and their influences. He will have met any of the other players who might have information about the Technic League or connections with Jhestine Imierin.

Aurora is a woman with hair less blonde and more colourless, like she has undergone some process to bleach any pigment away completely. Her eyes are neon blue, and framed by the lines and circles of the tattoos she has etched across her body. The tattoo lines are thin and black, with the occasional pulse of blue light moving across them. She usually wears a dark grey hooded robe made of an odd material, and always carries with her a quarerstaff wrapped with steel wire, with a strange device woven on to the top that thrums with energy.

You will have seen her around Torch in the company of Khonnir Baine or his daughter Val, and she is known to assist with their research so will have been out and about scavenging, as well as mingling with the other denizens of the town. Rumour has it she was cast out (or escaped from) the feral barbarian tribes years ago, and wound up here where she has remained since.

It is likely she would have met Ural and spoken to him about his strange-looking weapon, where he has been and what he has seen, as she makes a point of doing so with any newcomers to the town whenever she can.

From a mechanical standpoint she is ranged striker and battlefield control. Whilst she currently has no social skills to speak of she would be quick to develop them should it be necessary (woe upon the poor skill point numbers for sorcerers!!).

Vanya is an elven woman with green eyes and dark brown hair. She lives in Torch for several years now. She's a teacher for gifted children, teaching history, science and languages. She doesn't like beeing in big groups of people, especially humans, it's scaring her. They carry a lot of diseases. Vanya is known for her readiness to help others although she is a know-it-all and always tries to educate others.

Aurora and Uran might have seen her when she visited Jhestine or Khonnin to help them with some tasks.

Gather Information: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1
And it seems nobody wants to talk to her...


No worries Mardavig, just too good an RP opportunity to pass up. The beauty of it is that we can have a recurring thing here between the android and the robot-slayer.

I know i have yet to Fix Iosif's gear.

He has four-mirror armor 45gp
A spear 2gp
A scholar's outfit 5gp
2 trail rations 1gp

This leaves him with 97gp

He lives pretty rough, relying on hospitality to get by. He has little reason to spend the few gold pieces people pay him for his services. He also has no need to sleep. He's capable of it, but being immune to fatigue and exhaustion means he has little need for comfort.

Unfortunately yes. It would be hard for me to justify even the time it takes to simply participate in a game. Maybe when I return to work there will still be room for me here, but I don't expect you to hold my place for me.

One Thing.
Healing Potions are always golden and usually have a rune of healing on the flasks. The purer the tone, the stronger the potion. CLW are light golden, CMW a bit more and CSW Potions have a rich golden tone.
It is frowned upon to poison them, only the vilest persons would do so, as this is supposed to bring the Curse of Saranrae on the person.

MW chain shirt anyone? Helikon, what is the resale value on items found? The standard 50% for things like weapons and armor, face value on gems/coins/precious metals?

BTW, the hand crossbow is up for grabs as well.

We have 159 gp cash, 50 gp in silver symbols, the agate; the MW chain shirt is worth 250 gp 'retail', 125 gp resale. 400 gp or 200 gp for the MW hand crossbow.

That's a grand total of 534 gp (- the agate) if we sell everything. More than enough for a cold iron weapon or two. I personally would like to get a long sword @100 gp

Well I'm using magic so no need for a cold iron weapon, I'd say go ahead weapon users and upgrade your blades/arrows/bullets!

I am looking to get some cold iron bullets, but a secondary weapon (sword) might also be useful (cannot always fire from a distance...yet!!)

I can get 50 cold iron bullets for 100gp, if that is ok...or 25 for 50, if you rather....and 30gp for a cold iron longsword (size small)

Ok, we have 189 gp, minus what you all have spent. I used 24 gp of my own cash to get my CI sword. We also have 4 CLW potions, I suggest we split them up.
