It should save him. That's the point of the ability, to get a second chance at the saving throw roll. But the GM hasn't chimed in yet, so I didn't jump the gun on declaring results.

GM Zoomba |

Per above and discussion thread, I am allowing Wadi to re-select his options, due to unfamiliarity with another's spell. A heads up that this will likely be a one-time exception: while I'll try to spell out secondary effects better, be aware of what is being cast.
As a side effect to this however, Odo's 'Luckiness' was not needed to be used.
Wadi moves and casts as motes of light dance around and on Omandi, blinding her.

Jane Reflex save: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 2 = 25
As Jane stands at the edge of the pit but keeps her footing, the elf looks down to see that to her horror the protoplasmic ooze seems to be slowly crawling up the sides of the pit, making it all the way to its lip before the party can react. The ooze climbs 20 feet up, so its top is now essentially level with the pit's edge.
Over by the fountain, Omandi manages to cast a spell that sheathes her hand in an electrical charge (Shocking Grasp), but her groping towards Odo misses the mark. She does however, seem no longer blind.

Wadi's missiles blast the ooze, splattering chunks of it into the pit (though none of those start moving on their own thankfully. Meanwhile Odo's swing passes through air-but also an image that vanishes with the stroke.

The anchor has been defeated and her magic sustaining the dome has been severed. The ooze is still there, but if you wish you can technically withdraw and likely outrun it.
Looking around, the dome is still up. While no Harbingers around you seem to bear the telltale glow, the dome itself is disgorging monsters and beings from out of time, each of which seem to carry part of its energy. There is also the vault below.
Where would you like to go next: stay here and fight time-displaced creatures to further de-Anchor yourselves, or to the vault to ensure control of the Sky Key is maintained? In terms of the general state of the Pathfinders, both tasks are still needed.

Reposting Overseer comment:
The green dome overhead ripples and flexes, visibly weakened but still present. The same woman’s voice from earlier booms from everywhere and nowhere at once.
“This… this isn’t what I wanted. I wanted a world with purpose again—with certainty. But I suppose there is no greater way to die than in the same fiery cataclysm that marked Aroden’s first step toward divinity. Join me in martyrdom, Pathfinders, and try to die with some dignity.”
As the voice's echoes fade, Kreighton Shaine looks at you with worry in his eyes. "Well, that certainly sounds ominous." Glanicng up, he expresses. "On the other hand, I think you've done your part up here. The dome's still there, but correctly attuned the Sky Key should be able to break through it and catapult us home. Of course that does depend a bit on whether we have the Sky Key. Quickly: we need to take back the Vault!"
---
You rush towards the excavated entrance to the buried vault, other Pathifnders hurrying in your wake. Moving through the dug tunnel and past a metal set of doors that have been flung open, you descned a spiral staircase before emerging into a massive chamber whose walls are lined with veins of strange metal. Enormous bronze devices connected to the walls by massive cables spark and spew steam, almost obscuring the large vault door at the far end of the room. Stagnant water collects at the bottom of a ten-foot wide pool in the middle of the room, but that water also crackles with infrequent bursts of electricity. On the opposite wall, the large door is labeled with a single word in a plethora of languages: danger.
Spilling down the stairs, a cough to the left draws your attention as you see a gasping, bleeding elf lying in a corner - a figure who looks much like an aged version of Kreighton Shaine.
“Good show, Pathfinders,” the injured Shaine manages between blood-soaked coughs. “But Lady Arodeth is a true savant and driven to fanatical extremes. The same energies that infected her casters above have also seized her soul, and I fear she has already killed several of your fellow chroniclers. Or will have killed them. Blast, but this is confusing.”
Shaine props himself up to continue speaking. “However noble her goals may have been, if Lady Arodeth forces us to remain in this time, we will all die. If the Sky Key is still functional, you must reactivate it before the Starstone arrives.”
The machines in this chamber begin to spark and smoke, and female bodies take shape from the green miasma.
Shaine continues, “Oh, yes. That. It seems the ritual I found to make many of me is not as hidden as I believed. The Lady has also learned to create temporal copies. She can produce an army, left unchecked. Some teams will need to hold the line here, in this chamber, so that anyone confronting the true Lady Arodeth in the room beyond isn’t overwhelmed by these simulacra. You know your team’s capabilities better than I, but I promise you Lady Arodeth will be not yield easily.”
With that, the chorus of murky green figures announce, “I would have brought destiny back to this world.”

In the interests of expediency, including my expected action below. Unless I'm incapacitated before my turn, this shouldn't change.
A dark fury comes over Jane as she confronts the mastermind of this whole debacle, or the closest thing to it. Her voice takes on an unnaturally sinister tone as she castigates Lady Arodeth, filling one of the simulacrum's minds with intense emotion.
"You fool! This world never had certainty or purpose! The 'great' version of the past you imagine never truly existed! How long was Aroden dead before people began throwing themselves at devils and demon lords, and nations collapsed by the dozen? Days? Hours? Aroden's teachings failed when truly tested. He does not merit this wanton destruction."
Apparently Jane has stronger feelings about Aroden than I realized... Swift action enter Dark Half, Standard Action Mind Thrust III on one of the Arodeths. First choice would be one not in melee and not incapacitated (blinded by glitterdust, etc.), followed by functional and in melee. Spending a phrenic point for Mindtouch. Reacting to the assault, all three Arodeths' staffs begin sparking.
We did not fail him. A cosmic anomaly revealed how his work is not yet done. We will use this device to correct that mistake, and save every life you claim to lament but did nothing to save.
The 'blue' copy casts a spell and moves down towards the bulk of the party.
The Red Arodeth blooms into 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 extra copies as she shifts towards her 'sister' (mirror image), while the green one manages to finish casting a spell even while protecting herself from Midri and the eidolon's reprisals before striking at the eidolon with her staff. Some of us will need to stay here to hold the line, but the Lady 'Prime' is likely beyond, in the control room." Shaine nods to the double doors beyond.
"Whatever you think we should do, make your choice quickly. We're taking back control, now!"
The next wave will emerge in 1d4 ⇒ 2 rounds

"Whoa. I did not expect her to keep shocking me. Thank you for returning me to the land of the awake, Kuwabara." Odo groans as he lurches to his feet.
With a sharp intake of breath, he draws upon the Dawnflower's power and heals.
Swift action: lay on hands: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 6) = 11
He then uses a charge on his cure light wounds wand.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Xander goes airborne and comes to a stop over the water.
Fly: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (11) + 22 = 33
"Midri is invisible at the moment and healing herself."
Giving everyone a quick glance over and telepathically updating Midri Xander then encourages everyone to prep for battle.
"Is everyone ready if what Shaine says is true we don't have much time left to prepare.

Midri taps Jane on her left shoulder.
"sorry about being invisible but I am hurt and while i heal id rather not be dropped with a single touch."
Jane then taps herself with her wand of infernal healing.
Fast Healing 1 - 10 rounds remaining

Jane Calm: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22 Exits dark half.
Jane quickly returns to her normal state, or at least as normal as possible for her.
"From what I was able to read of her thoughts...their thoughts?...in any case, Arodeth seems to harbor more doubt than she admits. It is possible that she could be convinced to put an end to this if we confront her directly. That said, she is clearly very powerful, so such a confrontation would be extremely dangerous. it would be safer to continue to repel her simulacra and allow more experienced agents handle the direct confrontation."
Jane's all for going after Prime Arodeth, but either way is cool with me.

"While most of my magical energy is spent, I do still have some spell to lend to the effort." Wadi replies as he takes a position behind the column. "Plus I do have one trick up my sleeve..."
Wadi is OK with either option here, but it would be faster to confront Prime Arodeth.

Midri would be okay with going after her though hesitant due to low resources she has left.
Midri takes a look around taking stock of the rest of the group.
"I would be okay with trying, though i am nearly at my limit magic wise."
If the rest of the group is otherwise good I am down to try though are we in good enough shape to do so? I have only 1st level slots (3/5)
two of which would probably be castings of shield and then a grease to try to slow her down when she retreats.
Also how long would it take us to reach the real Arodeth death counting in the increased movement from haste?

![]() |

"Do you think your insights would give us the leverage we need to resolve this situation peacefully, Jane? I do not fear a difficult trial, but I would prefer to give Arodeth a chance to make amends for her rash actions."
Odo is also willing to do either - confront Prime Arodeth or hold off simulacra. He's also willing to hit Midri up with a cure light to speed her healing process.

And the debate becomes academic, as:
The asteroid looms impossibly large overhead, and the air grows stiflingly hot as the world itself begins to rumble. High overhead, the dome of green energy shudders, twists, and finally shatters, and Pathfinders’ bodies begin melting into flowing particles as the world slips away.
Just as quickly, you stumble as Bloodwatered Meadow coalesces beneath your feet, as it does for countless other Society agents. The wildflowers bob lazily in the wind, and nothing but a few still bodies stand as testament to the bloodshed and struggle of the past five hours. Kreighton Shaine, looking several years older, staggers to his feet and gives a nervous chuckle before climbing up a small knoll and waving his arms for the crowd’s attention.
“What we have all witnessed here today has been a remarkably journey that included sights no living soul on Golarion has witnessed. The Sky Key has allowed us to walk among the serpentfolk and Azlanti, gazing upon several of the greatest events to shape Golarion and the region that would one day become the Inner Sea. Let the catastrophe that we witnessed and narrowly escaped humble us and teach us so that we might find value in preserving the messages and wisdom those lost people may have left behind for us to discover. I think we all have some responsibility to remember those who passed so that our modern world can exist.
“You have all observed great things and have notes to share. This much is certain. But for now, let us… let us simply take a few days to reflect. The Society, I imagine, will send agents to collect your notes and interview you about your experiences. Until then, find your families and loved ones, as I know I shall. Failing that, find some passion that ties you to the here and now, and embrace it.
“We survived, Pathfinders. I am proud of your Unrivaled Accomplishment!”
I will have another wrap-up post when I get home tonight, and feel to ask any questions at all in the discussion thread. But for now, exult in your victory! You've gone and done what few Pathfinders can even fathom.
I had a blast running this for all of you and hopes you enjoyed it too, even with the rapid pace of eleven (11!) encounters. Congratulations!
