Seeing the man go limp in front of him, Torche calls out, "We have to hurry, I think he's fallen unconscious." The arcanist reaches for the bundle of bolts at his side and draws another one forth. Working quickly, he slots the bolt into the crossbow and pulls back the string to set the firing mechanism. With barely a thought, he pulls the trigger sending another bolt lancing toward the ooze.

Scarab Sages

Samuel's mace bashes away part of the ooze that's holding onto Marcel while Aviendha does the same with her great sword.
Torche fires a crossbolt at the general location of the creature,..but his aim if of as he tries to not pierce Marcel with his shot.

Luckily the combined damage Aviendha and Samuel managed to do was enough to disperse enough of the ooze for it to drop free of Marcel.

There are 2 exits from this room (other then going back up the stairs where you came from) a single door to the east and the double doors to the south.

Let me know what you are going to do.

K, didn't think of using directions like that..going for the single door

Hiro studies the door carefully and doesn't find anything dangerous about it.

As you open the east door you see;
A wall of rusted iron bars dominates the northern half of this room, dividing the area up into three individual cells. In the southern half of the room is a grisly looking table bedecked with manacles and blood. On the wall behind the table hang gruesome, blood-stained tools and other implements. Wooden doors stand on the east and west sides of the room, and a hall to the southeast winds upstairs.

At the back of the room there is also an vaguely humanoid creature about the size of a cat but looks more like a toothy, winged devil, you can just make out that it throws a switch on the wall that unleashes six mutated goblins trapped in the cells

Aviendha manages to whip the 3-armed goblin standing in her way and demoralizes the guts out of it
I think that with your use of intimidate on doing non lethal damage you only demoralize your target right?

Samuels AOO misses Yes, cover adds +4 to AC in most cases but then he manages to hit his next target (+) with a nasy hit, that could have done a lot more damage if he's been able to hit just a tiny bit more to the left. Doesn't confirm

@Hiro. As how I think it works (and I'll admit there's room for debate) you fail, you loose your movement and you get an AOO against you..and then since you didn't move far enough you end up in the closest square along the path you took you can occupy [/ooc]

As Hiro tries to tumble past the 3-armed goblin he doesn't manage to tumble through the goblins legs - after all there isn't that much space there - Hiro is forced to stop moving and get's a claw swung at it's head before he is able to retreat to the safety behind Aviendha's mostly (still have an exposed mid-riff?) armor covered body

The 3-armed creature manages to stick some of his finger nails inside Hiro's leg, but doesn't manage to tear of Hiro's leg Damage for Hiro: 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

All goblins growl and drool and go on the offensive.

The one made out of rubber steps up behind Marcel and swings both rubbery claws at Marcel's back
to hit Marcel's AC claw 1: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 2 = 8
to hit Marcel's AC claw 2: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 3 + 2 = 13
but both attacks don't come close to hitting Marcel so riposte+parry doesn't trigger I think?

The 3-armed goblin tries to make himself very small and goes into a flurry of attacks 1A2M: 3d2 ⇒ (1, 2, 2) = 5
One claw going timidly for Aviendha 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (10) + 3 - 2 = 11
while the other 2 go for Marcel
to hit Marcel's AC claw 1: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (18) + 3 - 2 = 19
to hit Marcel's AC claw 2: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 3 - 2 = 20
Aviendha get's missed and as the goblin swings his claw at Marcel he finds out thathis attack is intercepted and his hand sliced off while Marcel's Aldori dueling sword continues it's swing and bites deep into the goblins ribcage ..dropping it to the floor bleeding before it can finish it's next attack At least that's how I think riposte/parry works

The one with the reflective, shiny hide and the one with tentacles hanging above him hope the goblin on Samuel's other side distract him enough for them to get some decent scratches in
to hit Samuel's AC claw 1: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 3 + 2 = 21
to hit Samuel's AC claw 2: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 3 + 2 = 14

to hit Samuel's AC claw 1: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 2 = 8
to hit Samuel's AC claw 2: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 3 + 2 = 21

The one dripping with slime goes for Samuels back while he's focusing on the 2 goblins on his other side
to hit Samuel's AC claw 1: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 3 + 2 = 25
to hit Samuel's AC claw 2: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 3 + 2 = 20

Almost all of their claws bounce of Samuels armor, but the slimy one manages to get a lucky hit in
to confirm vs Samuel's AC: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 3 + 2 = 20 but it's doesn't turn into a vicious blow to the head.
Damage Samuel: 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
before it steps to the side allowing it's cage brother to join in on the action while blocking the room for more longshanks to walk in.

Feeling a little bit left out the scaly one steps up behind Samuel and let's out a soft howl while he rakes at Samuel's back
to hit Marcel's AC claw 1: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 2 = 6
to hit Marcel's AC claw 2: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 3 + 2 = 16
but again the armor surrounding the human's softer flesh is able to withstand the assault.

Claws swipe in at Samuel from all directions and through a combination of his enchanted armour, deft footing and his specialised shield use, the Andoran is able to avoid all but one lucky blow.

"Don't worry about that creature, we'll persue him once we've defeated these twisted creatures."

Samuel remains focused on his original target, swinging down with his blade defensively once more hoping this blow will fell the injured creature.

Parry doesn't require them to actually hit, I can parry against any attack, even a natural 1 or a natural 20, which is why I need to roll when the attack is announced rather then when it is a confirmed hit. Of course the three armed one was likely the best target anyway if you don't feel like changing things.

Feint: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 6 + 2 = 11 against 10+BAB+Wis mod or 10+Sense Motive mod, whichever is higher, if successful my next attack against - is against flat-footed, and because of my trait I get +1 dodge bonus to AC if its successful as well. Probably a longshot with that roll though.

Marcel acts like he's going to swing his weapon against one of the goblins but then stops before the attack would connect.

Parry, likely fail, against any, if feint was successful - is preferred.:
Parry: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 +2 if I am still flanking. Riposte: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 101d8 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 3 = 13 again +2 if still flanking

" Marcèl! Draw them away from the door so Aviendha can push them out of the way!" calls the fox as his advance is once again arrested by the goblins and the limitations of the hall.

Scarab Sages

@Aviendha, that's what bullrush if for ;)

Aviendha fails to hit the new goblins standing in her way with her whipNo damage, so no intimidate I think

Samuel swings his sword around, trying to keep the goblins at bay ..while hopefully hitting one of them ...but he doesn't manage to hit any of them.

@Marcel, you got close with that feint though

Marcel tries to feint with an elaborate ruse..but the goblins are to stupid to fall for it

Hiro tries to tumble in again and meets the same fate as before.. having to move back behind Aviendha for cover as the goblin tries to wrap his slimy claw around Hiro's leg to hit Hiro's AC: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 but maybe it was a bit distracted by Marcels sword play after all as it's unable to connect.

Torche tries to hit the goblin blocking your entry into the room but fails to hit the small dodgy mutated goblin.

Claw 2 vs Marcel: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 3 + 2 = 20

As the slime touches Marcel it sticks and tries to get hold of him Grab attempt vs Marcel: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 and it works as it's slime covered hand closes around Marcel's armor. Marcel's CMD is listed as 18 in his profile so he is Grappled

Spurred on by it's success the two (one hanging above the other) on Samuel's other side try to do the same, the reflective hide one going first
Claw 1 vs Samuel: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 3 + 2 = 22
Claw 2 vs Samuel: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 3 + 2 = 21
Followed by it's tentacles legged partner, who's claiming high ground.

Correct, because the feint failed my ac is normal, and my parry failed as well.

Aldori: 1d20 + 7 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 7 - 2 - 2 = 151d8 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 2 + 3 = 10 EDIT: I forgot that being grappled gives -4 dex, so -2 from being grappled and -2 from being dexterity based. Of course the grappling goblin likely has 2 lower ac from the grappled condition as well.

"GET OFF OF ME!" Marcel screams, bad memories of the slimy thing from before coming back as he slashes his Aldori dueling sword into the slimy goblin grappling him.

Hiro notes that the slimy goblin is now fully engaged with Marcel and that he will only have to avoid one on his way into the room. Once again he moves past his friends and a tries to duck into the room, this time going north.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14

Though he doesn't make it through with ease, Hiro does find himself in a position to actually try to help with the goblins. Just as he finishes tumbling he draws out a blackened dagger that begins to glow faintly.

Double move acrobatically, probably threatening an AOO from +. - is grappled and cannot make AOO. Draw a MW cold iron dagger as part of a move action and use a swift action to activate arcane strike.

"Samuel, scoot over and let it come out!" he says with a sly wink implying that he can do more damage when a creature is distracted.
