"Ooh! Big four legs isn't dog. Dogs somewhere else," Mogmurch whispers harshly.

Poog, Reta and Mogurch are trying to hide and wait for the big four legged thing to emerge from the mist on the other side of the ship as you do so you sneak closer to the fence so you have better place to hide behind. I'm going to assume Chuffy will do the same

A two-masted ship lies mired in the mud in this clearing, its rigging thick with moss and decorated with lanterns and windchimes made from goblin skulls and bones. Strange writing is faintly visible along the ship’s prow, while the soggy, swampy “yard” that surrounds the wreck is encircled by a rickety wooden fence. A thin curl of smoke wafts up
from a chimney that protrudes from an unusual box-like structure near the ship's bow.

Out of the mist a large four legged nasty looking creatures comes around from the other side of the ship. It's a horse!, it sniffs the air and focuses in on your general direction. The horse is a filthy, dark gray stallion which seems to be angry ..at everything.

Chuckling wickedly, Chuffy charges forward, and attempt to gut the *horse* with his borrowed *horse-bane* dogslicer :-)

Chuffy charges forward to strike against the horse, confidant that his shiney magic weapon will help him..which it does, slicing deep into the flank of the horse

Reta is less...capable of hitting a very large target though. But that might just have been her nerves.

K..to keep the game moving forward I'm going to assume the Mogmurch and Poog delay for now.

The horse rears up on it's hind legs and tries to smash both of his front hooves down on Chuffy

Chuffy pretty much slices the horse in half with the shiney horsebane dogslicer

Reta then tries to duplicate that on one half of the corpse of the horse but somehow still manages to miss..

Since some of you are standing next to it....

A vine-choked gangplank with a mossy handrail descends sharply from the ship’s bow to the muddy ground below. One handrail seems to be encrusted with a large ball of dried mud.

It looks pretty steep and will take a DC 10 climb check to move up the gangplank

DC 12 Knowledge (Nature) check:
The ball of mud on the bow is a wasp nest

Poog doesn't make it up the gangplank, but his bumbling around causes some of the vines on the gangplank to suddenly snap taut which in turn drop part of the large ball of mud hanging above it on the gangplank

Poog can make a DC 15 reflex save (if he wants to try to catch the falling mud that is)

The ball of mud turns out to be wasps nest which breaks as soon at it hits the floor releasing the wasps. the spread out in the area angerly stinging everywhere and everyone - which certainly includes some nice tasty goblinsis - they encounter before dispersing into the surrounding swamp.

Everyone make a DC 13 fort save vs poison

After that your free to try to climb up the gangplank again, or move somewhere else (or deal with any poison effects you might have first)

None of you sturdy goblins heroes seem to be effected by the nasty, nasty stinging wasps and Chuffy manages to make it to the top of the gangplank

The main deck of the shipwreck is cluttered with objects both natural and artificial. Thick swaths of leafy vines grow over the deck, and shiny green patches of algae and moss grow where the vines do not. The central cabin's roof has a wide edge, creating a canopied walkway along the ship's sides. A flight of steps up to the roof of the ship's main cabin, the entrance to which is blocked by a door decorated by a large number of rodent and bird skulls. A smoking stovepipe chimney extends up from the ship's highest point above.

Two of Vorka’s feral dogs live on this upper deck—one a mangy hound with one blue eye and one brown eye and the other a scruffy mongrel with
a crooked tail. Both are quite feral and half-starved, chained to different masts via 20-foot-long rusty chains. The mangy hound is chained to the central mast on the upper deck, while the scruffy mongrel is chained to the aft mast below.

"Anyone else want to take a shot at them? Otherwise, Chuffy call dibs on closest one!"

Mogmurch fantasizes about misfortunes befalling Reta, but is snapped back to reality when a wasps' nest hits the ground and a swarm of angry insects flies around stinging our heroes. As he swats futilely at the swarm, he has an epiphany.

"Wait! Catch bees! Make bee bombs!"

When Chuffy calls down from the ship, Mogmurch gives Poog and Reta an expectant look, and waits for them to ascend the gangplank.

To avoid any possible confusion...there are no more balls of mud hanging on or above the gangplank which might be big enough to contain waspnests..so no make bee bombs (all though I'll have to say I like the idea ;) unless you go out and catch some wasps in the swamp somewhere somehow. Which also means it's safe to try to walk up the gangplank now

Reta swats away the occasional stray bee, irritated.

Seeing the dogs made her even happier as it meant now her irritation cane be vented. Swiftly taking her bow she fires at teh dog.

You can't actually shoot at the dogs from outside the ship..but I'll just assume each of you tries long enough to get on the gangplank and make it eventually since not much will happen and you'll have plenty of time to try

Reta shoots at one of the poor tied up dogs with her bow and manages to hit it on the nose. It starts to bark and pull on the rusty chain which is holding it back from trying to tear Reta's face of.

Trying to break free: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

It fails horrible..

The other dog tries to break free so it can munch on some nice goblin legs.

Other dog trying to break free: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21

And with a massive tug on the old rusty chain it manages to snap it off and rushes towards you

@Reta: Don't forget your 'Dog-Sniff-Hate' feat gives you +1 to hit, and +2 on damage rolls, versus dogs :-)
