Unfortunately he is immune, I critted him earlier and it had no additional effect
That said, each of the arrows did an extra 2 points of damage from my FE that I forgot before.

Bo allows himself to find The Path, then flies toward the belker and fires an arrow.
Free action: Rapture (+2 Str & Con {AC=28 / HP=55/57}), Move action: Fly close, maintaining 200' altitude, Standard: shoot.
So, I am at 3 hp
I am bent, but not broken
The Zen Archer takes aim once again and fires high into the chamber.
Flurry, adamantine: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24 for Damage: 1d8 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
Flurry, adamantine: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24 for Damage: 1d8 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Ah, I did not take into account rapture. Fair enough. Moot point though. Oleander did it.
Oleander draws on the reserves of her inner focus and draws a bead on the belker. The belker points at Sarvin as it rises through the air, and the Tiefling sees a ripple of air behind him that hints at the air pressure building there, and his eyes widen with fear. Before the belker can release the aie blast, however, Oleander's arrow finds its mark, and the belker sreams in agony. It threshes about in the air for a few moments before slowly dissipating as it sinks slowly, vanishing completely before it reaches the floor.
"We surrender," a pair of voices call out from within the fog...

FiddlersGreen |

The sylphs fly out of the cloud, their hands raised.
"We don't want any trouble here. It's not like we loved following that monster. Just doing what we need to survive, you know how it is. Look, we can see you're not in the best shape either, so you guys just let us go our own separate ways and we all leave alive, eh? Well, those of us who are still alive leave alive anyway."
I assume that in true pathfinder fashion you search the place thoroughly for loot and valuables and take everything precious that isn't nailed down. Don't worry about that part. But how are you getting the bodies of the fallen up to the elevator? Does anyone have a climb speed, fly speed or an epic acrobatics modifier, or does Sarvin have 200ft of rope?
Oh and do you let the Sylphs leave alive? XD

![]() |

"I think a lift up... one at a time.." says Oleander
"Would be appropriate. Don't you?"
Or we can probably get up with subjective gravity. Stand next to a wall, change gravity to that, walk up it, "climb" around the corner to the flat, and then change gravity again to have it back to normal.

![]() |

Sarvin doesn't have 200 ft of rope :) He won't kill the slyphs in cold blood. I think since we're out of combat the party will eventually use gravity to get out?

FiddlersGreen |

Now that combat is over, the pathfinders take their time to reorientate her gravity, and then carry their fallen back to the elevator, and prepare to leave this horrible place. Fortunately, Beysal has stayed true to her word and is awaiting your return.
Ok, so you let the sylphs go?
If there's anything else you wish to do here, like stuff for your faction journal etc, make a post. If not, I'll wrap up the scenario on Monday...

![]() |

Letting them go is a FJC entry for Oleander :-)
Before leaving, Oleander looks around the place and asks the Sylphs for what they know of his plans and the castle itself?
"Could we move this and bring it to our allies somehow?"

![]() |

Needless murder does not help one on their journey on "The Path", so happy to let them leave (especially as we may not be in the best shape to attack them at the moment).

FiddlersGreen |

"I've never known it to be capable of movement. Most of it was under the control of Grasping Storm. Now that he's dead... Hshurha's wrath probably awaits us somewhere, sometime. But we will our reckoning with our goddess is our business I suppose."
"If we're free to go, we'll be going now."
Oleander, what is your faction journal task again?
Last call for faction journal tasks and any other stuff you wanna do.

![]() |

I have two that I can tick off. Either Defeat an outsider that has the evil subtype whose challenge rating is at least equal 6; or accept the surrender of an enemy combatant ... alternatively allow an enemy comabant with no means of escape to flee without further harm. I think I'll take the first actually as that will be a second check box and actually give me the solider of peace ability to further reduce NL attack penalties.
Aside from that, are we all contributing some cash for the raise dead?

FiddlersGreen |

Ok, I was really waiting to see and trying to hint that there was something more to do with the sylphs, but it seems that our silver crusader did not think of it. It's a little obscure, but you if you had tried to convince them that following and Hshurha isn't worth it.
I think you also missed some checks to gain a clue about this earlier on. Fortunately it's not the greatest boon and not the biggest deal.
Without much more to say to the sylph druids, you allow them to depart in peace, and bring the bodies of your fallen back to the airship. Beysal seems impressed that you actually managed to pull off the deed, albeit at great cost. As agreed, she delivers you back to Port Eclipse safely, and during the voyage she asks you to share with her some tales of your adventures - it appears that the haughty djinni might be taking some interest in the Pathfinder Society and their future on the Plane of Air.
When you arrive at Port Eclipse, Norden Balentiir and Ashasar meet up with you. Your report at Grasping Storm’s downfall pleases them both; while the belker lord’s defeat doesn’t end Hshurha’s menace, it does channel and limit the path of her retaliation, and sends a strong message to any other of her lieutenants planning strikes on her behalf. They are saddened by the loss of two of your members, and inform you that they will convey the bodies back to Absalom to arrange for the necessary procedures (burial or raising). Ashasar begins talking to Beysal about working with the Society on future endeavours, and as he does, Norden Balentiir congratulates you on your successful mission.
"From what I hear, the victory was hard-won, and I am glad you persevered and prevailed. We have learned much about the forces Hshurha commands and the tactics they favour. I will be sure to place a bulk order for snapleafs and boots of the cat, since I expect they will be most useful in coming battles here. I thank yo for your efforts. Feel free to take some rest here. When you are ready, I will return you all to Absalom for some well-deserved rest and recovery."
Well, that ended up being a hard slog.
Matters of housekeeping:
1. Please roll your dayjob if you have any.
2. Please roll an additional 1d20 for your convention boon. If you roll a 19 or a 20, please roll an additional 1d4.
3. Please let me know if you wish me to make any annotations on your chronicle sheets for faction journals or other boon progress.
4. Please let me know how much you want to contribute, if any, to the raising and restoration of your fallen friends.
5. Rahab and Karos, please let me know if you are able to recover from your death and whether you are also getting restoration spells to remove the negative levels.
boon roll: 1d20 ⇒ 19
boon roll: 1d4 ⇒ 3

![]() |

I have 16 PP and 2560 gp to deal with the two negative levels. Karos buddy, how are you feeling?
This guy is going to be getting GM credit for a loooooooong time.
1d20 ⇒ 12

![]() |

boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 9 boon hoo.
Oleanders chances of talking folk around is pretty low. She is not the most friendly of people.

![]() |

Personally I don't think of in character ramifications like that. I'd want someone to help me out. I'll chip in 2000 gold 1000 for each PC that died?

![]() |

I only have 340 gold (plus whatever we get from the chronicle) - I'm happy to put in a similar amount if I have it available.

FiddlersGreen |

Damn Bow, where was that double-20 when you guys were fighting the Belker? XD
Karos is getting 5391gp and the rest of you are getting 3953gp, less the 1000gp (per person) bribe you paid Beysal to leave behind Efwurwa's Fury.
Raise dead is 16pp or 5,450gp
Restoration to remove a negative level is 4pp or 1,280gp, 2 will be needed each.
At least, it sounds like no one is being left perma-dead, so I will proceed to report the game. 2 fame/pp gained btw.
Assuming Karos and Rahab each spend 16pp to get raised, how much PP does that leave each of you? So far I see Sarvin contributing 1000gp to each character if they want to pay for the restorations with gp. Anyone else?

FiddlersGreen |

Oleander is happy to contribute 1000gp as well.
Each or total?
Also, let me know if there are any faction journal bonuses you have that reduce the cost of helping others with spell purchases or paying for bribes. I believe silver crusade and exchange have such bonuses but I can't remember which season they were from. If you have them, now's the time to use them. =D

![]() |

Oleander will contribute to both. Unfortunately she is not that well entwined with the Crusade, having started out in a more mercenary outfit.

![]() |

After spending 16 PP, I'll be left with 11, whatever this chronicle gives us not included.
If my restorations are subsidized (thanks Oleander/Sarvin!), I'll be spending 560 gp to get back into shape.

FiddlersGreen |

Ok, final questions before I get down to finishing the chronicles.
Karos, you have a total of 2000gp being offered to help you get restored. Do you want to take them up on the offer and spend 560 for the balance of the 2 restorations, or do you still want to use PP to buy the restorations?
Bow, do you want to make a contribution?

![]() |

Well, I have less than a grand myself (and now worried about saving up for a similar occurance). I think I can safely contribute a total of 500 to the cause.

![]() |

Honestly it's fine if you don't want to chip in.

FiddlersGreen |

Aye, sorry, didn't mean to directly single you out, just wanted to make sure I was getting all the info right. Was also hoping there would be some faction journal bonuses being used since I've never seen either of them actually used. I'll take it as a 250 towards Rahab and Karos each then. Now just waiting to see if Karos takes up the offers towards his restorations or if he wants to just spend his pp.
Chronicles anticipated this weekend.
