"I can help with the writing.... Raia walks over to the writings, mumbling some type of spell under her breathe
Comprehend Languages: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Not sure if this was an automatic pass or roll was needed. Spell slots 2/4 first level and 3/4 second- unable to edit those from mobile device

GM Poblano Pepper |

No roll required to cast. Just gives you or anyone with you a bonus to decipher.
Raia performs some basic spell movements and she is able to discern that the holographic glyphs floating around the wall are the actual control system for the elevator and they must be interacted with in order to operate the elevator system.
Need a Raw Wisdom check from anyone attempting to 'press the button to go down'. Raia grants a +4 to anyone attempting the interaction.

Altronus - Thewissen |
"I can safely say that I am not the wisest elf in the forest," says altronus. "But uh... I'll take a risky guess."

Any of you wanting to aid the curious elf?

"Quig, you wise little rat. You know the air is a bit thinner up here.
Raia smiles at Quig and shakes her head.
"I wanted to make sure you felt like you contributed.

GM Poblano Pepper |

Through your collective think tank actions your group presses the correct three heart shaped glyphs in quick succession no only setting the elevator into a rapid decent into the bowels of the false moon. Some of you notice that once the glyphs are pressed a few nozzles slide back into the exposed cables. Seeming averting a trap rigged to douse the party in a caustic slime.
With a sweet alien "Ding-Dong" tone your decent softly ends, The elevator doors open into a rectangular storage room that shares the same design as the hangar bay above. A mesh grating just beyond the western elevator door overlooks stacked crates below. An adjacent set of stairs descends to the floor. A second set of stairs continues to a separate, stone chamber to the east.
In the far back corner you see two heads just barely peeking over some crates. You hear a voice intone ”Wha?! Ju hear dat?” in response another voice states ”Huh.. Bago no hear… sorry brother…
You could only assume the voice of Borgor say ”Lets find out what it is!!”. The sound of a pistol hammer being cocked resounds of the walls.

Navaso the Iconic |

Navaso sticks with Altronus and has his pistol ready as well, staying quiet so they can get the jump on the goblins when they come around the corner.
Ready action to shoot if we see a goblin. If they aren't goblin then I might not shoot and see if negotiation is possible but let's be honest.....

![]() |

Iseph decides to move stealthily in case a more subtle approach is required to flush the goblins out of their well defended position.
Stealth: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (8) + 14 = 22
Perhaps a grenade to flush them out? the android whispers to Navaso.
Stealth double moved on map. What roll to stealthily climb up the crates next turn? And how many move actions?

Cwethan's Iconic - IN SPAAAACE |

Hey! My post got goblined!
Obozaya lands with a dull thud, drawing her rifle as she goes.
If you flush 'em out, I'll put 'em down.
Autotarget Rifle: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Piercing: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Quig -Khaoz |

I don't have access to the map or Quig's stats, but I don't want you delaying on my account
Quig pulls out a grenade as well, and readies to throw it at the first sight of Borgor.
One free flying Scout will also shoot.
GM, can you bot my rolls? =)

GM Poblano Pepper |

Iseph you can attempt a stealthy climb half speed DC 20 Acrobatics and roll a Stealth check too, this would require a full round action to do. You can also use your Jump Jets to fly up to the top of the crates as a move action, no stealth though as they make some noise to use.
Quig of course but you may want to read the following before you go throwing grenades all willy nilly like :)
What you see next surprises many of you rather then the tops of the heads of two serperate individuals you see a Large Etten lumbering towards your group. The head on the your left has the look of fire in his eyes as he says ”Aha!!! Found you!!! You will taste better then the charred goblin we have been eating! What do you say brother” the head on right looks rather odd, his clouded gaze and drool driping from his lips shows that something is amiss here. ”Huh… Oh…. Yes Borgor you right. Goblin meat make Bago stomach sick….
At this point BorgorBago attempts to take a shot at Obozaya.
Feel free to complete your readied actions and then continue with your 2nd round actions folks.

Cwethan's Iconic - IN SPAAAACE |

I put a readied action in spoilers in my post above, but it was a 24 vs. KAC for 7 Piercing if that helps.
Obozaya roars in rage and hurls aside her rifle, snatching her favorite weapon from her back, she hews into the great beast with the ember flames of her doshko!
Doshko vs. EAC: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

Quig -Khaoz |

Just to clear any confusion, on round 1 Quig drew his grenade with his move and didn't throw it because we were still on the pacifist angle. Scout moved after Quig.
Using the platform's rail as a ladder, Quig attemps to climb onto the crates. Once up there, he throws the grenade getting it between the giant and the crates. "Shoot him in the head Scout!"
Do I need a skill check to get on the crate? I placed a smiley face on where I want the grenade to land =)
Grenade Throw; Damage: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 221d6 ⇒ 6 WOOO! How do grenade crits work? DC 12 =( 'Nade Crit Extra Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

GM Poblano Pepper |

Yay! I have internet again. Thank goodness my work has an open WiFi server I can tap into.
As Borgorbago comes round the corner of the crates Obozaya lets off a volley of shots towards the etten landing solidly against the Borgor side of the body.
Raia Takes a shot at BorgorBago rattling the creatures body with a sonic attack.
Altornus’ shoots wildly at the Etten but hits the crate just behind it.
Engulfing him in a bright blaze of fire Obozaya rushes in to swing her Dasko at the twin headed enemy.
Giving Obo a little inspiration Navaso fires at the enemy hitting Borgor Side in the shoulder.
Iseph deals a mortal wound from the shadows.
While this all takes place Quig quickly throws a grenade using his engineering prowess to deal maximum destruction to the backside of the Etten while Scout’s shot hit the Etten in the neck between its heads.
Having been delt multiple wounds and bloody all over Bago peronality looks over to the party seeing Quig sporting a certain female Ysoki’s Tool Belt. ”Livewire….” Bago droolingly says.
Will Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Bago Yells out ”Ahhhhh” seeing his life flash before his eyes.

Speaking in a normal tone Bago yells at his brother Borgor "You lied to me brother. You said Livewire left. How did he get her tool belt? What else have you lied about!!"
It seems the two personalities have started fighting with each other Bago attempts to harass his brother by slapping him with his free arm, head butting and gnashing his teeth at his brother’s head, kicking at his brother’s shins, and similar tactics.
Bago attempts to cast a spell again on his brother but it fizzles as the mental power between then will not allow it with the inner outer fighting is taking place.
Raia let me know if you still want to cast Acid Ray. Altornus forgive me if I'm Wrong but your quick Kasatha Circus attack there is for this round (3rd) is it not?

Altronus - Thewissen |
It was for the second round, Poblano, right after my readied action. But don't worry about it. I don't mind missing a turn if it means we get to "watch" the development you just described.
Is it OK, then, if I aim my attack at Borgor's head?
"Let's try to take out the wicked side, friends," Altronus shouts. "Perhaps we can reason with the other one."

GM Poblano Pepper |

"LIVEWIRE!!!!! She's alive?!? Borgor won't listen to me!" Bago yells out "I will do my best to subdue him but I cannot control him!" Borgor yells back at his brother. "I am the only family you have and your stuck with me!!! I won't go down without a fight!!! Do your worst, killing me will kill him." Borgor slugs Bago in the face "Please stop him.. me... us.. and take me to Livewire." The etten looks as if they are about to collapse.
Altronus you could try to attack his head but they stand at about 11 feet tall.

Navaso the Iconic |

"I mean I could just do this..." Navaso reaches into his bag and pulls out a Stickybomb Grenade before tossing it just behind the big creature so he can entangle them and maybe sort this out without violence.
Stickybomb Grenade vs AC 5: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
"..................................."
Miss: 1d8 ⇒ 2
Range: 1d4 ⇒ 1
It should hit the bottom left square of BorgorBago's icon which means the two in front of him will be hit with the entangle as well.
Any creature hit by this grenade that fails a DC 12 Reflex save gains the entangled condition until it escapes as a move action with a successful DC 13 Acrobatics or DC 18 Strength check or until 2d4 rounds pass.
Entangle Rounds: 2d4 ⇒ (4, 1) = 5
Navaso can't even talk as the grenade slips from his hand right as he goes to throw it and watches it explode on BorgorBago as well as two of his comrades. "................................"
That is the best 1 I've rolled in my entire DND/Pathfinder career.

No I don’t want to use Acid Ray now thanks
Raia speaks loudly ”Lay down your weapons, we would like to speak to you reasonably. Borgor has someone paid you to harm Livewire.? Perhaps we can make it worth you while and save you and your brother’s relationship. He is your brother after all.”
diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Raia aims her pistol at Borgor ready to shoot if necessary the deceitful brother.

Altronus - Thewissen |
"I mean I could just do this..."
"Or you could just not--"
Altronus covers his face with his arms, closes his eyes, feels the contents of the grenade impact against his body, and opens his eyes.
"Sigh."

Altronus - Thewissen |
i am such a stupid noob I just figured out there is a map with my token on it...no wonder I have been confused
Damn. I'm sorry, Madchappy. I hadn't realized and I would have told you had I known. You're just a noob, though (as I am). You're not stupid.
Also, for when it becomes relevant:
Altronus struggles to free himself from the goo.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
Which he does extraordinally well.

GM Poblano Pepper |

Combat Over
Within mere moments your rag tag group of mercenaries have disabled the etten. Bago quickly says "Hurry Tie us up. Before Borogor becomes less than cooperative." As the rest of the group wriggles free from the rather ginger tossed sticky grenades filaments, the others bind the Etten and affixes a gag on Borgor who seems to be very compliant. Especially thinking that his persona is so out numbered even by his 'better' half cooperating with your outfit.
Now that all are free and the etten secured Bago asks "Where is Livewire? Is she still alive? Did she send you? Can you take me to where she is or where her body rests?" Bago takes in a deep breath. "I'm sorry I do not mean to ask so many questions, its just that I have not been myself for some time."
As Bago finishes his queries a dull hum comes from the south east alcove.

![]() |

Not stupid at all Madchappy! Just a part of the learning curve and different games do maps differently.
Iseph slides down the crate and lands on their feet to look around to try and identify the sound, ignoring Bago's question.
Per: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

GM Poblano Pepper |

As Obozaya, Iseph and Navaso approach the alcove, an electric hum of a powered computer console echoes throughout the bowels of this recessed chamber. A series of thick cords attached to the console connect to a large, gore-covered hatch. The hatch firmly seals against the room’s rough stone floor. Several vents surround the hatch, each spewing forth gouts of miasmic exhaust and emitting angry whistles at irregular intervals.
Obozaya's and Iseph's inspections show nothing is amiss.

GM Poblano Pepper |

Bago starts looking concerned as you all seem to be ignoring him. "Please! Tell me if Livewire is alive. She's about yeh high. She has red fur, soft eyes and can be a bit smart mouthed" Bago continues to describe Livewire and asks if she is alive. The etten follows you like a lost puppy.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-
As Raia hooks her datapad into the receptacle to access the computer system she is greeted with a collection of screens allowing her to use the repaired mainframe from the hangar above. With only a few keys pressed she gains full access to the computer console the hatch opens and the computer console’s screen rapidly scrolls through a series of blueprints, plans, and schematics that hint at a larger substructure beyond the now opened hatch. Raia easily downloads the schematics into her datapad to give to the First Seeker.
Any looking into the hatch access see the melted remains of the two bodies just beyond the hatch opening. You can only assume these are the remains of the other crew of the Archer, Snips and Xalak-don. Among the mess of melted bodies are a credstick containing 1,500 credits, three mk 2 serums of healing, a carbon steel curve blade with an entangling fusion seal (6th level), and a mk 2 ring of resistance.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Bago continues to ask you about Livewire "Did she die? Am I at fault?"

Quig -Khaoz |

"Bago, Ms. Livewire is alive, I can't really say she's well. She's currently an indentured miner on the Sauna, but she told us that you two had a plan to get you away from your brother. Can you shed some light into that for us?"
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

I believe this is all our mission requires. Are we to take these schematics and leave now? Iseph enquires of the rest of the crew.
A bit confused. I don't think we're supposed to delve into the larger substructure right?
