Hi everybody I will be running the new Starfinder Special, Claim to Salvation, here on the Paizo Boards on August 25th, 2017.
Description of the Adventure:
** 4th level characters provided.** A Starfinder Society Scenario Special designed for 4th-level pregenerated characters.
Following the disastrous Scoured Stars Incident, the Starfinder Society fights to remain relevant as the rest of the galaxy moves on. With surviving agents stretched to the limit, the First Seeker launches a desperate bid to search the false moon of Salvation’s End. Will the mission reveal a discovery that can stabilize the Society long enough for a new generation of Starfinders to come to the fore? To answer this question, the players play as 4th-level versions of the Starfinder iconic characters in the debut special event of the Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild. Written by Larry Wilhelm.

I have a quick question. Do I need to be a Starfinder Society member to play in this game?
I have been playing and GMing on these boards for a few years now but never got into organized play. However, I want to play Starfinder and this venue seems to be the best option.
Anyway, definitely interested and will fill out your application but I want to know if I'm eligible.

Why hello Fabian,
To answer your question simple Yes This game is for Starfinder Society to begin as part of GamedayVI.
In more detail you don't have to immediately be a member to play.
There will be pre generated characters provided for play as this is a level 4 adventure.
After playing you can register a Starfinder Society Character and use the experience you receive on that new character.

I am new to organized play. I have been roleplaying for a quite a few years and have been playing online PBP now (PBEM first) since early 2000s. Yes, I've been around the block a few times. :)

I want to try out the new rules and new setting for Starfinder. I'll be GMing my own Starfinder game in the near future and am looking for a chance to also play.

I like to take long walks on the beach. Just kidding. :)
Seriously now, I like reading and RPGs in general. I am currently playing in seven other PBPs and am GMing two of my own. I work as a civil engineer and am 'normally' in front of a computer during work.

Yes, please check my posting history in other games. If I don't post more than once per day, it's because other players and/or GM hasn't posted. My posts also tend to either move the game forward and/or involve other PCs to promote roleplaying.

Please do. Keeping momentum will be one of your most important duties as a PBP GM and will literally make or break your game.

3. What excites you most about playing in this game? I love the PFS adventures, they're full of fun little tricks and traps and have lots of flavor. I own scenarios that I haven't even run before because I like reading about the mechanics that the Paizo team have come up with.
4. Tell me a little about yourself! What other games have you played? What are your hobbies? Most of my tabletop experience is Pathfinder/DND with some Shadowrun and Vampire the Masquerade back in the day. Also a little Warhammer 40k here and there. Some card games, ex-Magic the Gathering player. Pretty much an all around nerd.

@madchappy my understanding of this special is you just need to be ready to play. The Starfinder book and that's it. This will also be played with pregens that will be provided.

Being able to try the SF rule set at level 4, in a Special, along such a diverse community! Is there a reason to NOT BE excited?

I started playing pen and paper RPGs with Vampire the Masquerade, moved on to DnD 3, evolved to 3.5e, migrated to 4e, bailed on it, went back to 3.5 and evetually to PFRPG! I have played a different versions of Vampire, Werewolf, Exalted, Demon, Scion (that's more WOD than I remembered), ADnD and another mexican RPG called Factory). Other hobbies.. music, videogames and cardboard crac.. Magic I mean

Yes, if I'm holding back combat and delaying my character's combat is not a logical option, you can bot me, trying to act as as precedent lets you.

3. What excites you most about playing in this game? I have wanted to try out a PBP for quite a while, so this seemed to be the perfect entry point. I am especially looking forward to the science-fantasy mix.
4. Tell me a little about yourself! What other games have you played? What are your hobbies? I mostly played Call of Cthulhu, D&D 3rd, Shadowrun and DSA (german roleplaying system), but also tried out Numenera. My other big hobby is boardgames (because of course :) )

Wow... I've played AD&D, 3rd, 3.5, 4th, 5th, various White Wolf games, Pathfinder, various Star Wars games, FATE and FATE accelerated, Numenera, and I think that might be it for the other games I've played.
My hobbies include GMing, creating adventures, and reading. I also write, and am trying to do that professionally.

Azih this is not a replayable scenario so i have been told.
Only SFS 1-01 is the evergreen for Starfinder at the moment.

I do not have immediate access to the pregenerated characters at the moment as they havent released them -.-
