Alright Aerodus spots the convoy in the distance and tells you all to hide. The convoy stops when they reach the broken down wagon. There are two armoured wagons in the hellknight convoy and about six knights on horses. They seem to be looking around. What are you going to do?

She takes a few breaths and eyes the potion in her belt. Somehow, it doesn't inspire much confidence in her. She draws it from her belt and drinks it down.

Her form shifts and blurs for a second before settling. Where a petite blonde half-elf once stood, there is now a white-haired elf boy, clad in a blue tunic and black pants. 'His' chain shirt is the only thing of 'his' that's unchanged.

'He' looks at the rest of the party. "Ready?"

Where there once stood an angry cheliaxian ranger with a hair dye job, now stands something different. A woman, with flowing dark brown hair. 'Her' skin is a deep tan in color. Her features suggest that she's Shoanti and Taldan. 'She's' dressed in the style of a Shoanti tribeswoman. 'She' takes out her bow, draws an arrow, and aims it at the nearest Hellknight. 'She' nods. "I'm ready."

The knights start to ride up to the broken down cart, but two of their number stay by the wagons. They draw their weapons, and you see their carrying crossbows.

'Aerodus' puts 'her' bow away, giving a sigh in relief. Seeing 'Lia' stand stock still, 'she' walks up to the 'elf' and puts a hand on 'his' shoulder. 'She' says in comforting (or at least, as comforting as he can because it's Aerodus), but stern voice, "Relax. If you didn't kill him, he would have killed you. It's what needs to be done sometimes." 'She' then moves off to try and salvage 'her' arrows.

'She' frowns. Only two arrows are perfectly intact. The other three have snapped on impact or broke when 'she' pulled them out. 'She' puts the intact arrows back into 'her' quiver and places the broken ones into 'her' pack, thinking that 'she' could use them for something else.

'She' then joins in the search for the keys.

Andando smiles a grim smile and wipes his blades on the undercoat of one of the fallen knights, he then begins to search for "the keys" and any other shiny valuables he might come across.

He remarks to Aerodus, "Perhaps I can buy you a drink later m'lady" he says with an exaggerated schmooze tone.

'Aerodus' frowns and rolls 'her' eyes at Andando's "flirtations". "Are you asking me as a man or a woman?"

'She' walks off to continue the search. "Either way, the answer would be no."

'Lia' sighs. "I know. It doesn't make it any easier..."

'He' tries not to laugh at the ranger's pointed reply, but can't stifle a snicker.

Anything to avoid thinking about it. Stay focused.
