Fish Silverscale |

Nagbur Damnstink |

Nagbur frowns at the mention of a key. Moving up to the chest, he pulls the figurine from his pocket, staring first at its base and then studying the box to see if there seems a suitable receptacle.
"Who you kidding, longshanks," he says distractedly as he studies the chest. "You no trust Nagbur. But me be okay with what you say for split."
Whichever way the chest resolves, he'll shove the statuette back into his pocket and continue on with the group. I moved him to where he'll be at that point.
So are we lugging around bags of gold, or do we plan to pick it up on the way out?

Almalik Fezana |

Almalik ambles along behind Nagbur.
"This a test of trust, Nagbur. I trust you as much as you trust me, but that's fine, we will build that trust if we can do this successfully. It's very clear to me that I must set aside my own prejudices and cooperate with the group. Just don't call me stupid."
Now at the intersection, Almalik raises his crossbow, peering to the east.

GM Dinuci |

The statue doesn't seem to fit anywhere on the chest. The chest has a small keyhole but you are unable to pick it. The lit fits very tightly to the base so forcing it open wouldn't be an option.
Upon moving further down the hallway you hear voices again. The hall to your east seems completely empty, the chamber of you left clearly has Hobgolbins in it.
The loot you receive from the missions will be "weightless". And I will also not take in account the weight of gold :P You may flavor in that you pick it up on the way back. But using weight on all these items would kind of ruin the experience I think. Map is updated!

Ama |

"More of those!" Ama says shocked, and moves into the room with hobgoblins.
Ama raised her nodachi, and swings it at the nearest hobgoblin. "Vanish!"
Nodachi: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 Damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

GM Dinuci |

Ama runs into the chamber and the Hobgoblins give a yell in surprise as Ama makes a long gash along the southern goblin's back.

Nagbur Damnstink |

"Just don't call me stupid."
"Okay, Nagbur make you same deal me made with Fish about 'ugly,'" the vitalist says with a snigger.
When he hears Ama's shocked remark, Nagbur hustles to the doorway to assess the situation (MA) and then pushes energy towards her. (SA) Manifesting Biofeedback. Ama, you now have DR 2/- for one minute.

GM Dinuci |

The Hobgolbins give a warcry and charge at Ama, both attacking her. Still shocked from the sudden disturbance they both swing wide.

GM Dinuci |

If you post a map I will always update it in my profile. If I am unable to then I will warn you.
Fish rushes in and attacks one of the goblins, although last minute he steps on a rock and barely misses the Hobgoblin. Almalik soon joins after him. The southern and west most goblin both move in and attack Fish. Still unstable from the rock they both manage to hit him.

GM Dinuci |

She has taken 13 damage instead of 17. I will and the DR in the next round update.

Almalik Fezana |

Almalik neatly sidesteps beside a hobgoblin and starts rubbing his hands together rapidly. Smoke slowly rises before he clenches a fist and throws it to the ground! A line of fire scorches across the dungeon floor, burning all of the hobgoblins.
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
That's a flame arc. Reflex save DC 13 for half damage to all hobgoblins.

Ama stops bleeding.

Nagbur Damnstink |

Almalik hears a stream of Goblin curse words from the doorway as Nagbur sees another of his compatriots go down.
Beady red eyes flick back and forth beneath an alligator helm, assessing the situation and judging who is in the most danger. Despite feeling more affinity towards the little kobold, he decides the longshanks woman is at greater risk despite the protection he'd given her.
Hoping Almalik can quickly dispatch the one remaining threat to Fish, Nagbur pushes energy towards Ama. Manifesting Natural Healing. Ama, you've been healed 3 HP.

GM Dinuci |

Ama is healed and will be able to stand again. After being targeted by foul magic the rightmost two Hobgoblins move towards Almalik and attack him. He gets hit and is downed.

@Ama You may adjust your actions retrospect since Nagbur healed you.

Nagbur Damnstink |

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but if Ama was at -3 (absolute) and Nagbur healed her for 3, how did she get to -9 relative? Shouldn't she be at 0 HP/ten down?

GM Dinuci |

Bottow two are damage and top two are attack rolls. It was a typo. I didn't have it as a rule or anything but I will let no one die in the game, so no worries. ^^ I already had something planned beforehand for this as a matter of fact.

Almalik Fezana |

Almalik frantically tries to cast a spell but takes a sword in the gut and collapses, screaming in agony.

Ama |

Retcon:
Ama opens her eyes when she receives healing from Nagbur, which leaves her in a disabled state.
She stands up, and moves 5 feet into Nagbur's direction. "Some more of that, please...?"
GM, perhaps use our exact HP instead of how much HP we lost? I get it if you write an enemy has -10 HP, but for the HP of players it'll probably create a better oversight if you write 0/10HP.

GM Dinuci |

The western most Hobgoblin sees Ama stand and screams with outrage, He moves in to attack her. Fish becomes stable and you can hear Almalik grunt as he sinks deeper to his death.

Ama swings her nodachi at the hobgoblin that attacked her, hitting it hard.

Nagbur Damnstink |

The goblin curses intensify as Nagbur watches Almalik go down. Deciding on a risky course of action, he takes a step back out of the line of fire, (5' step) pulls out a vial, (MA, CLW potion now in hand) and focuses on Fish to draw away some of the kobold's injuries. (SA)
Transfer Wounds: 1d6 ⇒ 5
He groans and slumps against the doorway as Fish's injuries flood over him.
Fish, you've recovered 5 HP. GM, Nagbur is now Staggered.

GM Dinuci |

Ama swings at the Hobgoblin in front of her and chops off his arm. The Hobgoblin stares with wide eyes at his stump and slumps to the ground. Nagbur patches up Fish and he wakes again next to the Hobgoblins.
The last two Hobgoblins, oblivious to Fish awakening, see one of their comrades being chopped in pieces by Ama. The first moves in to attack Ama and the second tries to move past her to attack Nagbur. The first Hobgoblin misses Ama by an inch, the second Hobgoblin gets Ama's sword through his stomach and falls to the ground.

Only one left!!! You may still choose to rest this evening to regain spells and some health.

Almalik Fezana |

Stabilize DC 12: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
The blood coursing from Almalik's wound slows to an ebb.

Ama |

@GM: Because Ama actually healed 3HP after all, instead of 6HP, any standard action would've made her lose 1HP. Resulting in -1/10HP.
Knowing this she'd still swing her nodachi to attack, because too much retconning is bothersome. So just put her to -1/10HP, and back on the floor :)

Fish Silverscale |

Fish wakes to see his friend Nagbur all beat up. "YOU NO HURT NAGBUR!" he shouts as he flies into a rage. He stands up stepping into flank with Ama and lashes out with his monstrous claws.
Claw: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 2 = 9
It appears he is to angery.

GM Dinuci |

Almalik stabilizes and Fish tries his claws agains the Hobgoblin. The last Hobgoblin runs away from Fish and moves behind the fire. He grabs a flask out of a pack hidden behind it.

@Ama See discussion for my opinion! You may decide which path you choose. I will agree to both of them.

Nagbur Damnstink |

Well, I'm confused. The textual description says one hobgoblin "tries to move past her to attack Nagbur" but Ama slices and dices him (AoO)... and the map shows no enemy anywhere near Nagbur. But you're showing Stinky as "3/8hp."
If Nagbur actually is at 3 HP then he's down (Unconscious). If it's in error and he's still 8 with 8 nonlethal as I suspect, then he'll proceed with his intended action of downing the CLW potion he has in hand from the previous round. I'll go ahead and roll that; if he actually is out then just ignore the roll.
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 ⇒ 1 Bah. Bah, I say!

Fish Silverscale |

If he is moving out of a threatened square and picking up an item he cannot full withdraw (Full round action) safely. So Fish would get an AoO.
AoO: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 4 + 1 = 21
damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

GM Dinuci |

@Nagbur you transfered wounds from Fish and displayed your health at 3/8 with nonlethal damage and staggered. That is the reason it's noted as such.
@Fish you are correct. He receives 5 damage.

Ama |

Stabilize: 1d20 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (2) + 2 - 1 = 3
Ama's slowly bleeding out.
Come on guys, kill the last one!

Nagbur Damnstink |

@Nagbur you transfered wounds from Fish and displayed your health at 3/8 with nonlethal damage and staggered
Please point me to where that is, because if it can be edited I need to fix it. The first I saw it was in your initiative list. I don't recall ever typing 3/8, and a text search of the last two pages was no help. His profile was at 8/8 (3 NL) for the longest time and then went to 8/8 (8 NL) on the most recent Transfer Wounds (I'm just about to heal one point so by the time you look it may be 8/8 (7 NL)).
Anyway, what I'm hearing is that he didn't take a five point hit from a hob, so he knocked back the CLW potion to get out of his Staggered condition, and that's all he can do this round. Hang on, Ama!

GM Dinuci |

You didn't take damage from the goblin. So the only damage you have is nonlethal. This really is a confusing bunch of abilities...
The last Hobgoblin drinks the potion and picks up his shield again.
CLW potion: 1d8 ⇒ 4

Fish Silverscale |

Did he go twice before I got to go?
Fish follows the creature continuing to swipe at him with his claws.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
He's unable to strike his foe and all the fury and energy fade from the kobold as his claws return to normal.
Fatigued

Nagbur Damnstink |

New Round
I hope this doesn't turn into a TPK. Nagbur's gonna have to step it up. Had I known he'd only get one hit point from that potion, he would have done this last round. Crossing my fingers this works!
One hand against the wall and still bent over, Nagbur feels only the slightest aid from the potion. He also senses Ama down, out, and getting weaker... and Fish barely holding on. Hearing sounds of battle still, he grumbles under his breath and rushes unsteadily back towards the room, stopping just shy of the doorway's corner. (MA)
"Damn crap potions," he grouses as he moves into position. "Nagbur always do better healing."
The downed and bloody Almalik comes into view as he moves forward; peeking around the corner reveals Fish facing off against the last hobgoblin.
Nagbur's mind reaches out to the enemy, attempting to wrap a mental hand around the hobgoblin's brain... and squeeze. (SA)
Manifesting Collapse. DC 15 Fortitude save or the hobgoblin is knocked prone. Fish, if it works it puts him at -4 to AC and to attack, plus you get an AoO if he tries to stand.

GM Dinuci |

He didn't go twice. He posted twice though with one turn.
Almalik is unconscious on the ground and Fish tries to attack the last Hobgoblin but misses. Nagbur mental attacks him and he falls prone to the ground.
