The Exchange

Faltain hears Clubsen's whistle, springs out from behind the barrels, and charges past the running gnome. He prepares himself for the rain of blades that he is sure to encounter, but delivers a fierce body blow to the first guard he comes to. Charge group and unarmed strike nearest opponent

May I have a description of the area, mainly in regard to the location of the soldiers to the water. I would like to swim up to them if possible.

Faltain:
If you would like to charge you would run right through the slippery fish mess you made. It requires a DC 20 Acrobatics check. Moving more than half speed requires a DC 15 Acrobatics. Failer on either and you fall prone at the beginning of your move.

Jimmy:
The soldiers are now farther from the dock than what they were before and are heading in the direction of Faltain and Clubsen. About 40ft to the docks in that direction, a 5ft climb up the side of the docks and another 40ft to the closest Navy guard.

As Jimmy swam up to the side of the dock, Pocky ran up to the navy guards, next to Faltain.

Oops! I was actually thinking of going around the back of the barrel that I had spilled, but I suppose that doesn't really work.

Faltain moves out from behind the barrels, bends his knees, and springs across the slick, fishy surface of the docks. As his feet touch down on the other side of the mess he had created, he tries to join Clubsen's advance against the soldiers.

move action to make a standing jump across the fish mess, second move action to move 30 ft towards the navy soldiers

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16


Faltain jumps over the fish surprise and runs into the thick of combat.

Clubsen moves forward and casts obscuring mist covering himself, Faltain and the three guards in a thick mist.

Takio and Kasumi seemingly just touch one of the navy soldiers together and he gets thrown back and falls unconscious on the cobblestone streets.

Bonovario continues to swim twards Corigain's ship while Jimmy swims towards the docks.

Navy's Turn

The Navy soldier that's facing off with Takio and Kasumi takes a swing at Kasumi.
Cutlass Slash: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
As the sword strikes Kasumi. It passes through him and a shower of snow flies into the air.
The Navy soldier looks flabbergasted down at his sword, now frosted over. "W-what?! Corigain?!"

Corigain looks over to the soldier and fires a shot from his musket at Kasumi.
Musket Shot: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
"Bastard!!!" Corgains shot flies wide. His drunken state seeming to effect his ability to aim.

The three navy soldiers move about in the fog towards where Faltain and Clubsen were before the mist appeared, swinging wide arcs in the fog.

The the fog is to much for two of the Navy soldiers. Missing Faltain just barely. One however manages to find purchase in Clubsen's arm.

The two Navy soldiers on the second Corvette and the two soldiers patrolling the docks move in closer and are within two rounds movement of reaching one of the players.

A smile spreads wide on Takio's face as he turns to Kasumi, "this one knows your secret Kasumi..."?, he now glares at the Navy guard raising a finger , his eyes giving off that same feral glint as before. "Tsk Tsk,... You shouldn't have done that..."

Kasumi steps over the fallen navy soldier to flank the other with Takio, lashing out with his snowy hand in a viciously accurate strike as frost bites at the navymens skin. "You should have thought twice about that move." He said, glaring at his new target angrily.

"Yahoo!" Jimmy yelled, as he jumped on to the dock with ease. Jimmy rushed towards the combat with joy!
Pocky approached one of the guards.
"Don't hurt'em too much buddy!"
Pocky made his way to the other soldiers.

Kasumi looks over to the others to check on their progress and his eyes twitch, a mumbling jumble of nonsensical amazement rolls out from his mouth and he very nearly loses the will to remain standing and simply smash his face into the cobblestone. But he manages, somehow.

He looks on as Clubsen dives into the sea, then shifts his gaze minutely to the right and regards the drawbridge with a hateful glare, as if it were somehow at fault for his companions stupidity. "How's the water!? Is it nice!? I'm sure Jaythail appreciates all of your fascination! I know Corigain does! We're getting shot at over here! Get your asses out of the water and board the ship like normal people!"

The Exchange

Faltain looks around him as the fog envelops him and the guards. "Thanks for the cover, Club!," he calls out, then he sidesteps the wildly swinging cutlasses and delivers two quick blows to the side of one of the guards. 5 ft step to get out from the middle of all the guards, then flurry of blows to the nearest one

Nodding in agreement with Kasumi, with frustration now heard in his voice, Takio adds "Seriously though!... What are your fascinations with water?!?...". his face now reflected his tone as he let out a sigh, "keep Corigain busy".


After a quip by Kasumi and Takio, another guard falls to their mysterious powers.

Jimmy finally makes it to the dock and climbs up to the sounds of combat 20ft directly in from of him. Clubsen dives past Jimmy into the water below.

Bonovario continues the long swim to the Corvette.

Navy's Turn

Corigain loads his musket furiously, his misses seeming to cut deep into his drunken ego.

The one navy soldier that was on Clubsen, now moves to the rather hung out to dry Faltain. All three attack him with their cutlass's.

Two of the three attacks connect and Faltain can now feel the warmth of blood oozing from his chest. Faltain is at 0 hp and is staggered.

The two Navy soldiers that were on the second Corvette move to now be within 20ft of Kasumi and Takio. The two that were on patrol are now 40ft from the fight with Faltain.

and takes a mouthful of water for his trouble. realizing time is of the essence he risks a spell despite his predicament.

his fingers and toes grow webbing and his instincts for swimming sharpen until they are nearly animal

swim speed now equals 30', swim check is +12, can take 10 even while distracted

Did my first hit not make it past the navy guard's ac? Just wasn't sure if I had made any progress with that hit.

Faltain staggers back a step, then falls limply to the ground as he struggles to hold on to consciousness. 5ft step away from guards, then willingly fall prone, trying to bluff that I am totally unconscious and not worth attacking further

Bluff: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7

His tumble to the ground forces out a loud groan of pain. Clearly, Faltain is still conscious.

As Faltain hits the ground and feigns unconciousness, the guards consider Jimmy more of a threat and turn there attention to him.

Clubsen and Bonovario are still swimming in the direction of Corigain's Corvette. Clubsen soon to overtake Bonovario due to his now webbed limbs.

Kasumi and Takio bring down another Navy guard with expert teamwork.

"Navy's Turn"

Almost in déjà vu fashion, one Navy misses Jimmy and the other two connect with his chest.

The last Navy soldier facing off with Kasumi and Takio looks to both and yells, "For the Navy!" and attacks Takio.

Corigain lines up another shot at Kasumi.

Missing yet again, Corigain throws down his musket in anger and draws his Cutlass. He begins stomping off the ship towards Kasumi and Takio.

The patrolling guards are one turn away from joining the fight.

Sparks ignite Kasumi's nerves as his eyes follow the blade as it arcs toward Takio, followed by relief. As the strike misses his friend, Kasumi dives in behind the strike and grabs hold of the guards face even as Takio launches his own counter-attack, searing the skin with arctic cold. "For my chair.." He deadpans.

He looks to Takio, giving him a nod before they make their way then to join Jimmy and Faltain in hopes to gain a bit of ground before Corigain joins the fray.

I'd like to use my Seniro's Favored ability on the first hit. If I survie I'dlik to use my turn to use martial flexibility to gain blindfight and non leathal punch on the closest injured soldier

The slash that was thought to have taken out Jimmy, turns out to have taken down a guard instead. Jimmy apparently having slipped on a fish from Faltain's earlier attempt to slow the Navy down. The Navy soldier reals back in shock at what he had done. Jimmy trying to regain his footing falls forward and catches his balance by pummeling that soldiers face accidentally. The soldier slumps to the ground, as it turns out this was the same guard that Faltain had pummeled earlier.

Clubsen easily overtakes Bonavario and is now at the base of the Corvette. Bonovario still 70ft away.

Faltain and Kasumi watch in amazement as Jimmy dodges an attack suddenly and ends up taking out two guards in a forward lunge manuever that must of taken years of practice.

Kasumi and Takio bring down yet another guard and begin making there way twards the mist.

"Navy's Turn"

Corigain proceeds to chase down Kasumi and Takio and is close behind them. The remaining guard next to Jimmy attacks him.

Cutlass Slash: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Concealment: 1d100 ⇒ 84
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

The two guards that were on patrol just make it to the edge of the mist this turn.

The Mercenary aboard the Clipper stares with a confused look towards the mist and stands up, Greatsword in hand.

Takio nods to Kusami, and in sync runs beside him towards the mist. Giving a brief look towards the mercenary as well as Corigain, in one last hope before entering the mist he'll look to the merc, "don't suppose you'd take 35g to help us?"

"Bonovario, we can all see you splashing down there.... A little help?" Takio says in a louder than normal tone as he passes by him.

Kasumi runs to the edge of the mist, confident Takio would keep close as his survival instincts kicked in. He knew Corigain would be close on their heels. Looking to the sea, Kasumi grimaced. Clubsen, nor Bonovario were going be of help anytime soon. He dismissed them from his mind, he would work with what he could depend on, as he always had.

Looking on as Jimmy pulled some kind of miracle, Kasumi dared hope he could be of some use. "Jimmy, take care of the other one quickly."

Kasumi dared a quick glance back at Corigain behind them, then to the lone figure that no doubt Takio was attempting to bribe. If he would not accept it, he would raise the anti.

Ok, so standing is fine then, but going panda form on your next turn will knock you unconscious and you will begin to bleed out.
