Okay guys, let's start filling in relationships and all that. Also, answer these questions
Siphon: Which heroes memories are you still in possession of?
Miss Moxie: When Junior force (the team of young Justice Force members) rescued you, their leader, Dante (a pyrokinetic), offered to take you in as a member of their team until they could get yoyu home. why did you decline?
Manifest: What did you once enjoy, that your power denies you now?
Amir: You had a chance to cut and run, leave everything behind and start anew. what was it, and why didn't you?
Kilt!: There are, in Panurgic city, companies that will augment someone, technologically or with gene therapy, to the level of a neo-abled. how do you feel about these?
Twitch: you aren't the only showboat hero in town. who have you recently upstaged, and what's their deal?

Powers don't make a hero, and neither do those "voluntary" experiments. I don't need 'em, and if those super-flakes were really up to snuff neither would they. 'Sides, Lady Luck tends to give out better stuff than the s+*~ the drones at companies like Pyrite cook up.
Here's what I'm thinking for Relationships:
"Miss Moxie is awesome, and you take every chance you get to hang out with them."
Between the awesome name and the unintentionally hilarious statements from her I'm guessing Kilt's got a bit of a crush on her. Should be an interesting layer to their interactions.
"You've got to prove yourself to Siphon before you feel like a real hero."
I think this one is intended as a "looking up to someone" deal, but of this one I'm thinking more that Kilt needs to prove himself better than her. He kind of sees her as his opposite, no powers vs all powers.
If either of you have objections or improvements, please share!
@ Elsine, should we start distributing Influence?

You mean that gang? Dweebs wanted me to wear a uniform and practice three point landings. Barf-O-Rama!
When we met... My future self was involved, and I tried to stop them. It took the rest of the team to help me succeed. How did we stymie my future self’s plans?
Mad Moxie knew as well as I did who I'd check up with to learn what I missed. I skipped third period to pay old man Salvo a visit. He's got a nine to five doing something called 'document imaging'. to be continued
The Kilt is helping me understand this weirdo future. I follow their lead.
I saved someone important to Amir?; they’re now my biggest defender.

Siphon: Which heroes memories are you still in possession of?
Let's see... I like the thought of having encountered the Azure Avenger several times, so I have several of his. I know his secret identity, where he lives, how he got his powers, and that he has a deep crush on that librarian who lives in the apartment across the hall from him.
I took Half-Pipe's powers once. He can manifest and mentally control a solid energy board like a skateboard that flies. I still remember his real name, and the final stage of every Tony Hawk video game ever made.
I had to stop Mourning Dove, a deadly vigilante, from killing everyone at a major drug delivery. I learned she's actually a sort of revenant, having come back to life after being killed by a stray bullet during a shootout. It was fun being able to turn into a dove for a while, but her memories are dark and twisted, fueling her undying rage.
I learned that RickRoll's name is not Rick, or even Richard. It's James. But his last name is Rollins. I now also know all the lyrics to every Rick Astley song.
I know that Tenfold can only make nine duplicates of himself, and that he's deaf. But he's also really strong, like lifting a His kind of strong. His brother, Doppler, is a villain who hates him and can control sound.
Stormfront can control localized weather patterns. She is a single mom with two kids, age seven and three.
==============
As far as influence goes, I'm pretty sure I will talk openly about my villainous past, so everyone gets influence over me.

Manifest: What did you once enjoy, that your power denies you now?
Not being tired all the time.
Ever since the day Manifest first used his powers to escape death, he hasn't had a single night without nightmares. They vary in severity, but he's positive their persistence is related to his powers somehow. Probably due to the influence of the things he summons.
Whatever the case, he hasn't had a good night's sleep since he was 10. He's gotten used to it, but it's really draining.

Where influence is concerned, I'm thinking the demeanour will be Locked Down - he's withdrawn, and not exactly cheery most of the time. That means one person gets influence over me to start.

The cut and run option is still open, thanks to Eric. All it'd take is a phone call for Amir to set things in motion, leave everything behind and start over. The only problem is that it'd count as kidnapping on Eric's part, so they're waiting for Amir's 18th birthday to roll around, unless there's some serious issue that warrants leaving sooner. And of course, Amir isn't really sure if he wants to go through with it, maybe he'll manage to convince his family to call the marriage off, or maybe something will come up or he'll decide to actually go through with it. After all, his family isn't abusive or anything, just forceful, Amir does love them. He also cares about honor. Not to mention he wants to stay together with his friends on the Team as well.
----
Relationships, Influence, and 'how the Team came together' are honestly the hardest and most drawn out parts of Masks. So here's to hoping we somehow manage to get through it quickly.
// When our team first came together... We paid a high cost for victory. What was it?
We had to accept someone's help, leaving us in-debt to them, and they're someone we really shouldn't of been dealing with. It was one of those companies that augments people to give them powers, but we don't actually know their name or who they are. See, its been suspected, but never confirmed, that some of these companies will often grab people off the street (people who won't be missed) to experiment on, before using their latest tech on actual, paying customers. And likewise, it's been suspected but never confirmed that when these experiments escape, or when a customer goes crazy or otherwise refuses to pay, these companies will send out their own private anti-super security force to capture the subject and 'cut their losses'. It was one of these security forces that we were forced to ally with.
We don't know what company they work for/represnt, but we do know that they call themselves 'The Collection Agency'. When things were looking dire, they came out of nowhere and helped us, driving off the villains we were facing. We were grateful for the assist at the time, but it didn't take us long to realize that they weren't doing it out of the goodness of their hearts. They wanted our Team to work for them, and when we naturally showed some hesitance, The Collection Agency revealed that they had been watching us for a while, and they knew everything about us, right down to our secret identities. Too tired to fight back against their thinly-veiled threat, we asked them what they wanted us to do, and The Collection Agency merely responded by saying that they'd contact us at a later date.
After that, they packed up and left, without a trace. As if they never really existed and the whole situation was just a bad dream. Even Twitch wasn't able to record them, her electronics and signal being mysteriously disrupted until they were gone. Suddenly we realized why these shadow organizations had always been considered a hokey conspiracy theory. Ever since then, we've all been dreading the day when our phones will ring, a call from an unknown number, and when we answer...
"... It's time to collect."
// Relationships: You told Twitch all about your doom and the danger you’re in.
Amir can't openly talk about his doom, because doing so forces him to mark his doom track. So, for a while now, he's been logging onto Twitch's streams and talking about it anonymously, venting to and asking for advice from Twitch and other people on the stream's chat. Recently, as in, a couple days ago, he pulled Twitch off to the side and confessed that the person on the chat is actually him.// Relationships: You’d love to kiss Siphon before your doom comes.
I'm picking Siphon to be Amir's initial crush. Mostly for the drama of it. See, Amir's abilities come from his distant ancestor, whose powers are, well, EVERY power from EVERY playbook; i.e. Doomsign: Infinite Powers. Sand Control is just the one that he has most ready access to, presumably from a self-imposed psychological barrier, as his powers are tied to the middle east, his ancestral home, and he desperately wants to stay in America. Meanwhile, his father, who has the same powers, doesn't have that barrier, so he essentially has ALL the powers ALL the time. Then, enter Siphon, who also doesn't have that psychological limitation. See where I'm going with this?
Siphon might have some idea that Amir likes her, but she's probably never yet had a reason to take his memories or seemingly limited ability to control a specific type of sand. When she does though? It'll be a rush, and when it wears off, it'll be massively tempting to have all that power again. And since she'll have his memories as well, and will know that he likes her... Well, lets just say that it gives her a reason to be manipulative, and to use and abuse Amir. Or, perhaps, a reason to stay away from him, to avoid being corrupted by that temptation.
Of course, either way, Amir will be absolutely crushed if he ever finds out.
// Influence: These people matter for what you need to do. Give Influence to Siphon and Manifest
Siphon, because Amir has a crush on her. She's one of the big reasons why he wants to stay in Panurgic.
Manifest, because his awesome powers will be very useful in helping Amir to escape his doom. He's just not sure how to go about asking for his help.
----
@Miss Moxie
Yes! But instead of a particular someone, Miss Moxie actually managed to save the entire Team. And Amir is all about averting destiny. He'd fight at her side til the bitter end.

Updated my About page with Relationships, Influence, and When Our Team First Came Together. I give out three Influence, and on top of Siphon and Miss Moxie I decided to give the third to Twitch. I see Twitch as getting on Kilt's nerves because she treats being a superhero like a game or a place to make money, not to save people (at least in his eyes). As a result she can get under his skin easier than most.
"So you can just...summon monsters? Awesome! Can you summon zombies for team practice? Can you summon other stuff, like food or fire? Can you summon a Burger King? Can you make us a secret base? Could you make normal animals, like a cat? I've always wanted a cat."
@Manifest, I could definitely see Kilt being the guy who (sometimes forcibly) takes you out to blow off steam. Obviously it's up to you, but I think it'd be cool to have the least powerful and (arguably) most powerful members of the team interacting often.

"Amir, your love is like drugs."
The Maniacal Mime didn't expect a handful of super powered delinquents at a random building (maker's call where Henry Salvo works according to his question) in the center of town. I didn't either. (there might have been another villain there, if Siphon doesn't know Mad Moxie) Things escalated quickly, and there wasn't a lot of time for stupid questions. Maker and the Mime were making a mess, and the sirens were getting close. I could get them help, but I needed a phone. Amir threw me his, and I called Mark Yutani, a rich kid I knew from the eighties. Between the building collapsing (longest eight minutes of my life holding that ceiling up) and the black-ops guys sneaking us all away, it only occurred to me later on that Mark was maybe not a kid with deep pockets any more. Amir might think I saved them, but I'm who gave Collection Agency Couldron his number.
Those black ops guys sure got there quick...

If she knew the Mime was on crack, for example, she could just go back home and not do the crack. When our team first came together...
We fought a terrible enemy from my old life. Who was it and what did they take from me?
Professor Proton was a major foe during our first fight, and if I hadn't switched sides to join, it probably wouldn't have gone well for the heroes. In retaliation, he blew up my Ferrari California T. It was my seventeenth birthday present after I helped him procure the necessary components to build his zero-point energy device (which was later destroyed by the Justice Force -- not my fault).

"I'd hope I could one understand what goes off in her head, but if...actually, probably ought to keep quiet about that one. Let's just say none of my 'friends' understand either."Sounds good to me.
"So you can just...summon monsters? Awesome! Can you summon zombies for team practice? Can you summon other stuff, like food or fire? Can you summon a Burger King? Can you make us a secret base? Could you make normal animals, like a cat? I've always wanted a cat."

Siegfried looks distinctly uncomfortable as the barrage of questions rain down on him.
"Ugh...not just that, they'd probably kill you, just the food but it wouldn't stick around, WHY, wouldn't stick around and it'd have to be secret in the first place, yes but it wouldn't stick around."Considering now, it'd probably be you or Siphon. The question is if he'd actually get much stress relief - fact is, Siegfried just might not be able to cope with you well, at least to start.
I suppose who would be the better fit would depend on how their interactions at such times actually tend to go.
I've earned the trust of ?????, and I follow their example of what a hero should be. This is tricky, but I'm thinking Manifest -- though I'm up for suggestions about how I managed to do that.
Glad you think mine is an example worth following.
If you wanted Manifest's trust, then a good way to get it would be to devote attention to problems that aren't just super-powered, big and small. He firmly believes that a hero improves lives, and that stopping villains, while important, doesn't do that.
*ahem*
"Thing is...they trashed several blocks in their fight. A few houses got destroyed, and now the people who lived their need to find a place to stay. Many of their belongings will have been destroyed, some of them irreplaceable. And there was nothing they could do about it. Those people are undoubtedly worse off than before."
"How about the people who didn't lose anything? Well...they're not doing better, are they? Things go back to how they were, before the rampage started and their lives were put at risk. Nothing changes. How is that better for them? If anything, the only one getting anything out of this is Stonewall."
"And yet, Stonewall only sees that Red has been stopped. He observes the devastation he left in his path, but he only ever thinks of it in terms of inconsequential property damage numbers. It doesn't occur to him that lives have been disrupted by this - he just knows in his heart of hearts that everything is better now that the threat is gone. So, he goes home, secure in the knowledge he's done a good day's work."
"It's a common way of thinking among heroes, and I'm not sure whether its more self-centred or naive. Their eyes are open for when banks are robbed and death rays are leveraged, and yet somehow they don't see the kid who can't find her father until they're at risk from a supervillain."
"People's lives won't improve if you don't actually help them where you can. It varies what that might mean - talking people down, stopping car accidents, finding lost pets or just providing an ear that'll listen - but every time, it's something that matters in their normal lives. You can't fix everything, sure. But that's no excuse to do nothing at all."

All right, let's try this: Professor Proton had designed a timestream manipulation device called The BF-GOGGI* -- a personal doomsday device that turns every past triumph into a devastating defeat, effectively rewriting them into a shell of their former selves. Siphon, having recently encountered Tenfold and possessed his duplication power and strength, was hired to create the mayhem necessary to draw a superpowered test subject for the device. Moxie showed up to fight Siphon, but was blasted by the Professor with the device. As her timeline was being rewritten to one of defeat, disappointment, and pain, she managed to send an energy pulse back at the weapon. The device overloaded, and though it successfully turned Miss Moxie into Mad Moxie the Maniacal Mime, it also drew a past version of her to the present.
The timeline rewritten, Siphon didn't realize her role in the unmaking of Miss Moxie until she grabbed Mad Moxie's memories when the team came together. Then she realized that she helped turn her into the tragic, silent figure that Miss Moxie is trying to avoid becoming.
What do you think?

Excellent.
When our team first came together...
We destroyed our surroundings in the fight. Where was it? What did we destroy?
When a supervillian is out to kill someone, it isn't always easy for them to find their potential victim.
But if said victim owns a restaurant that they've named after themself? It makes things a lot easier.
Salvo's Sliders, while not one of the biggest restaurants in Panurgic, was damn well one of the best. (According to Siegfried, at least. The androgynous boy probably ate there a tad more frequently than he ought to.) The food was good, and better yet, it was actually reasonably priced. It was many people's go-to establishment for solid eating, and while the place was never really packed, it was never quite empty either. As such, when Mad Moxie broke down the wall and just about everything remotely attached to it, it caused a bit of a panic.
The Maniacal Mime was powerful. Seriously powerful. For most young supers, matching her alone was out of the question, and even in Manifest's case trying to fight her straight out would be either suicidal or genocidal at his skill level.
That Professor f+@~ing Proton was there as well was just icing on the cake.
Thankfully, it wasn't a solo fight. Between all of us working together and support of the Agency, we were able to avert a major tragedy, but in true super-fight fashion stopping Moxie and Proton had brought with it heavy collateral. Salvo's Sliders was dust, and Henry's car was totalled along with it.
A lot of people lost out that day. Everyone who used to eat there had to find a new place to replace it. Henry was out a business, a ride, and a pension, and now worked a job in which he was far more miserable. And Miss Moxie's life got a whole lot harder, now her best shot at learning what happened now had a grudge against her past and future self.
=========================
Questions? Suggestions? Adjustments?
I know I have one. How was Proton supposed to know if the BF-GOGGI had worked? What would have shielded them from their memories being overwritten to fit the changes the device made, and what else can be done with whatever's responsible for that?

Um, some sort of technobabble? He's just that good? He has some sort of quantum flux/Shrodinger's box/tachyon field that lets him see the effects of his device?
I'm drawing from the silver age of comics a lot for these villains. Crazy superscience meets diabolical madmen who would rather spend millions of dollars to build robots to knock over jewelry stores than patent and sell their work for the billions they would reap. If the BF-GOGGI is too crazy and nasty of a concept (even as a one-and-done plot device), I'm happy to go back to the drawing board.
Let me know.

Suffice it to say, after an impromptu game of Pacman where all the guards were ghosts, Songstress has really hated my kind of entertainment.

There's nothing an online audience loves more than someone getting irked and annoyed, so she would love to keep The Kilt around as much as possible. He may not appreciate her shenanigans, but she knows that for such a bizarre theme, letting the largest audience get used to it is a sure fire way to grow into an identity of his own. And if he pulls in a few hundred thousand viewers, that's all the better.
@ The Kilt
I promise to not abuse this trust (fingers crossed).
Oh, and currently Twitch sees you all as tools to help her grow an audience. She isn't particularly secretive about this, though there is a part of her that is thankful for the backup. But she isn't too sued to direct confrontation heroics and while she can create objects out of light, they don't have any mass to them.
HEY GM!
Would it be bad if I modeled Twtich's power to have little to no offensive powers? Like if she made a sword of light or blasted something, they might feel something, but would ultimately not be hurt. I kind of like thinking of her as a utility hero of sorts, signaling, blinding, and creative but not direct offensive like most heroes.

Oh, don't worry, it's great. I was just looking for an excuse to introduce something that would be a pain in the ass if we had to fight him. I mean...we could give him a time barrier Siphon, a time barrier! A tachyon fluactor field that nullifies the effects of chronotemporal alterations on its user and manipulates the timeline of incoming threats to nullify the harm they pose!
...I'm not sure if that's technobabble-y enough.
What are you thinking on your first relationship? Any decisions yet?
That's good stuff. We're not making it easy for ourselves, and I love it!
I'm struggling with my first relationship, though. I've earned the trust of _________, and I follow their example of what a hero should be. The way I see it, the ones who I could easily earn the trust might not be the best examples of a hero, and the best examples wouldn't easily give me trust!
Manifest, if you'll allow, let's say I earned your tentative trust here at the outset. Whether I manage to keep it depends on what I do from here (or how sneaky I manage to be). ;-P
How does that sound?

Now I just need to figure out if Siegfried could actually cope with The Kilt, or if he'd end up spending time with someone else if he wanted to actually de-stress.

@Twitch, Oh please, by all means, ABUSE IT. I love watching my characters SQUIRM. >8)
Also, did you add your additional Label point at character creation? Your Labels should sum to +3, but I noticed yours only get to +2.
@ Manifest, I grant you that Kilty's a bit intense. But he also thinks of Siegfried's powers as a blessing and as something cool, instead of the accidental portal to the Zoo of Hell. Idk, just something to keep in mind. :3
@ Everybody, do we have a team name? Or are we doing the Young Justice thing where we're just "The Team"?

I don't know if we need to start off with a team name, but I'm kinda liking D.A.R.E.Devils. We could also go with any kind of mix-and-match descriptor plus team, like Star Force, or Neon Squad, or Panurgic Power.

No regrets.
Kilt - Thinking about it? Yeah, you're probably the best fit for the relationship. Marking you down.
Kilt, Twitch - We still have your "When the team came together" bits to do, don't we? Am I misremembering?
RE: Team Names - Now what might Manifest potentially come out with...Pantheon? Medley? Pastiche (Pasticcio?) I'd recommend reading into that last pair a little if that sort of thing interests you. There's some interesting associations there.
We have something of a diverse group, and he'd likely go for something representative of that - though admittedly, while some of the things he comes out with might be fitting, odds are they won't be the most catchy.
For the record though, Twitch and the Holograms would be met with great resistance, as would anything remotely similar. Feed not the ego of Twitch.

RE: Powers
So, we have a guy whose power is being an angry scottsman, one of the most powerful mages in existence, a low-mid level shield generator (with the potential to do a lot more, just look at Mad Moxie), A sand-controller, and a power copier/striker..you cna do "Just normal light", but are you sure you don't want to do hard-light?)
when you first came together...
so far, you guys fought Mad moxie at a restaurant/crater (depending on timeling position), and allied with The collectors, in exchange for a favor you still have hanging over your heads.
still on the table: "We found signs that this incident was just the start of something bigger. What were the signs?",
"We fought a terrible enemy from (siphon's) old life. Who was it and what did they take from (siphon)?",
"We, as a team, attracted the attention of a major media outlet within the city, thanks to our efforts. Who are they? Why do they support us?"
once we have that, we'll start... probably with you guys watching news coverage of your first fight.

At first I said that he took my super high-dollar sports car, but I'm now expanding it to all my funds. I was making serious bank as a super power energy drainer, and though a bunch of my money was being squandered by my parents, I was pretty used to living in the lap of luxury. Now I've been cut off, financially.
Edit: Because Professor Proton was involved in Mad Moxie's origin (and I don't see PP being involved in a "hit" anyway), I'll change out the villain from my old life. Give me a sec and I'll come up with someone else.

Timelines can be confusing things. My understanding was this:
1) Proton makes BF-GOGGI.
2) Siphon is hired to draw the attention of a superpowered subject to test on.
3) Moxie responds to Siphon's chaos, and gets blasted by BF-GOGGI.
4) Moxie destroys BF-GOGGI, before becoming Mad Moxie.
5) Miss Moxie is called forward in time where she wasn't before as a result of ripples from the timeline alterations.
This all this occurs before the team came together.
6) A time later, Mad Moxie attacks Salvo's place, to destroy information/kill Salvo. (And Proton is there too, for some reason. No idea why.)
7) FIIIIIIGHT! (The team comes together, and the established events of said fight occur.)
8) Siphon loses her fancy car and all of her funds as a result of the fight.
Focusing on Siphon's section of things, that's how I understand the event timeline.
Siphon - What's your living situation now, given you have no funds and your parents are likely not happy, let alone those from your old life? Are you still at home? Staying with one of the team? Someone else? Not staying anywhere? What's the situation, and how rough is it?
EDIT: Maybe I should have held off on that timeline.

The timeline still looks good!
Picking up from 5):
5a) Some time after the Moxie business, Siphon is hired to get information about the Codex Maleficarum from Lucidity. Instead, she gets a reality check. Her first failure as a villain.
5b) The Cult demands she provide them with information about the tome they're after. Still getting flashes of her fate that she can't interpret, Siphon gets a vision of Salvo's as a critical nexus which she gives to the cult, thinking that Salvo might know where it is.
6) Mad Moxie and the chief lieutenant of the cult, Daemonknight, go with Siphon, expecting her to drain Salvo for the information he never had. When Siphon drains him and finds nothing, she is in trouble. Then the rest of the heroes show up.
7) FIIIIIIGHT! (The team comes together, and the established events of said fight occur.)
8) Siphon loses her fancy car and all of her funds as a result of the fight.
==========
Living sitch is... not great at the moment. I'll probably need to crash with someone. If not, I've got Friends in Low Places. Those obligations will start stacking up fast.
-----------
By the way: could someone explain to me who Salvo is? Is he someone from the other table? I'm reading it now, but it's slow going because all the avatars have been switched around.

I'm good to have you stay with Manifest and his sister, if nobody else offers. We'll have to figure out where they're actually living, but yeah, that's good if you're fine with it.
He would be very defensive of his sister, though. Sure, she's got powers too, she's not defenceless, but messing with her is still a good way to earn his ire.
Henry Salvo is the PI that Moxie started working with after the disappearance of The Fantastic Flamingo, who specialised in supers cases. He later opened Salvo's Sliders, which of course, we managed to utterly destroy.

DaemonKnight may be a little too 90s X-treme, so I'm up for suggestions for a better bad guy. I'm envisioning a big dude in scary, black armor, maybe wings, lots of smoke effects, and wickedly sharp swords.
Yeah, Professor Proton is still out there. I envision him as a mad scientist full of ideas for various superscience devices and weapons. Not one to repeat himself, whenever one of his devices gets wrecked, he goes back to the drawing board and comes up with something new.
I should know the location of a few old villain hideouts if we're in need of a base.

...I'm not sure this is the group to worry about that.
Elsine - Constructs is a point of interest, since I make and summon. It's the obvious means for a long term manifestation of whatever mythical being I'm calling up, but where do we put the power ceiling for that kind of summon? And for that matter, the ceiling of "Take a powerful blow to do it, it won't last long, you have no control over it and I WILL ensure massive problems come from using it"?
Similarly, what about non-summon applications? Instant/Emergency costume? (Like, being able to manifest it over normal clothes - that's the hope. Only in the case that the costume is wearable over normal clothes, mind.) Calling up items of myth, to match my summons? (Presumably, not as good as the real thing.) Just more mundane equipment? (Weapons, armour.) Limits to how much I can call up at once?
They're the sort of things I find worth thinking about, given that I am supposed to wield insane power of the "not entirely controllable" kind. Might be worth a few PMs to set boundaries, so I don't accidentally go overboard.
Whatever power he wields, I do imagine that Manifest isn't exactly more powerful or durable than normal, on his own. Maybe some basic "you need this to survive" enhancers while he's working his magic, but otherwise he's basically civilian level without using magic recently.

in order:
the limits for constructs says "human sized or smaller". seems reasonable. and no creating superpowers that can't be made biologically. a flier with wings, sure, another mage.. less so.
generallly, the costume wouldn't require a roll, unless theres something on the line (on of Prof. Proton's giant deathbots is bearing down on the school, and you need to get your game face on in time to get dangerous.) Items fo myth, sure, it might be unleash or spending burn to use them to do something big. same with mundane equipment.
and, as for durability... good to know

@Siphon: of the villains you've listed, which are old enough to have been kid or adult supers in the late 80s, early 90s? (meaning, who would Moxie know?)
@Elsine: Do adults who were her age or younger back in the day all have influence on Miss Moxie, or does she have one adult who doesn't put that kind of pressure on her for old time's sake?
While we're talking about powers: I picture Moxie's shield as having a fixed force over an adjustable area. She can make a glass-thin bullet-proof wall, or a six-foot thick wall of air-pudding. This adjustment in density is how she pulls off the light tricks. Also, once it's in place, the field doesn't move relative to her, but she can move in order to move it. It hasn't yet occurred to her to try and make, like, a cestus or a "sharp" field. Those kinds of details are too complex for her right now.

Miss Moxie
You've tracked down 3 people from your past. friends you used to run with or whatever.
One of them settled down, and gave up heroism, one is a big-name around here. One of them is either a headstone, or doing the same thing they were doing 25 years ago, your choice.
all of them would have influence. it would be hard for them not to. if you were in your late teens in the early 90's, they're in their 40's now. their kids are your age.

@Siphon: of the villains you've listed, which are old enough to have been kid or adult supers in the late 80s, early 90s? (meaning, who would Moxie know?)
I'm not sure if you wanted to know about the villains and the heroes, but I'll list both.
Azure Avenger: He might have been operating as a very young hero in your time. He's in his mid-thirties.
Half-Pipe: Not a chance. He's in his early twenties, could be even younger if Elsine wants another contemporary of ours that may have a grudge against us (me).
Mourning Dove: Probably not. She was killed in a drug war of the early to mid-90s. But she's not very sociable.
Tenfold: Same as Half-Pipe; he's either just aged out, or he's the same age as us, depending on Elsine's discretion.
RickRoll: He'd be just out of your window; he's in his mid-to-late twenties.
Stormfront: Also just out of your window, being roughly the same age as RickRoll.
Lucidity: She looks young. But she could be ancient. Who knows?
Prof. Proton: Very likely that you could have known him from before. He may have even de-aged himself at one point or another. He could have been around from the silver age or earlier, if Elsine wants to use him in that way.
Dr. Sange: He's with biology what Prof. Proton is with technology. This creepy Romanian doctor would have been operating in your original time.
Mr. Cane, Lovelace and Dr. Cutler: These names appeared in the Reformed playbook. I'm not sure if they're NPC characters with write-ups in the main book, or if I'm supposed to come up with who they are. That's actually a question I need to put to Elsine. I'll need to know who they are, since they'll come a-knocking sooner or later.
Cult of the White Demon and DaemoKnight: The cult's been around, doing their nefarious deeds, so you could have tangled with some of their henchmen. DaemoKnight may be a possessive spirit that jumps from vessel to vessel, or some other recurring heavy closely attached to the cult. I figure our resident mage needs to have some magical foes.
Did I miss anyone?
