Real Name: Amir Ahmed
Abilities: Sand Control (Telekinesis and Psychic Constructs). An ancient ancestor of Amir's had a variety of strange powers, and it seems that after thousands of years, someone finally inherited them. Namely, Amir and his father. Mysteriously though, Amir seems to have only inherited his ancestor's ability to control sand. And not just any sand, but sand that specifically comes from the middle east (Arab-Pakistani area). American sand, or sand the comes from anywhere else, doesn't work. This annoys Amir to no end, as it makes him feel like he's being drawn to his 'homeland' and forces him to carry a supply of specially ordered sand with him in order to use his ability. Meanwhile, and frustratingly, his father has all the powers of their ancestor, but doesn't use them at all, preferring and content to live as a normal, quiet familyman.

Backstory

When did you first learn of your doom?
Not long after Amir was born, his parents arranged for him to be married. Years later, despite having immigrated from Pakistan to America (and Panurgic City), this marriage is still on. Ever since he was young, Amir has known that this would happen, and he has long wished that some circumstance would force the whole thing to be called off. He dreads the day of his coming of age (when he becomes 18 and graduates from highschool, currently he is 17), when tradition and his family will force him to move back to Pakistan, to marry a girl he barely knows.
Where did you get your sanctuary?
To help "prepare him for adult life", Amir's father rented an apartment for him, where he lives alone. It's a small place with basic furniture, but it's nice and cozy enough.
Why do you oppose your nemesis?
Amir's nemesis is his family, and the traditions they represent, who want him to go through with the marriage. Particuarly his father. He doesn't want to disappoint them, and he doesn't want to hurt the feelings of the girl who has been promised to him, but the fact is–even though he would probably never admit this openly–there is already a girl he likes, and she's on the Team. And besides, Amir likes America and Panurgic City, he does not want to move away from his home and his friends there.
Who, outside of the team, is crucial to defeating your nemesis?
To help "prepare him for adult life", Amir's father not only rented an apartment for him, but he also got him a job at the company he works for. It's grueling work, and by no means a 'cush' job. Almost every night, Amir is forced to bike from his apartment to the outskirts of the city, where he works graveyard with a CNC Operator in a warehouse in the middle of nowhere, assembling parts made by the machine. It's an 8-hour shift that gives the two no chance to sit or rest, they're the only ones in the whole building, and the machine is so loud and dusty that they're forced to wear full eye, ear, and mouth protection, meaning the only time they're really able to interact with eachother is on their 'lunch' break.
When they are able to interact though, it's awesome. Most adults he tells about the arranged wedding don't express any misgivings about it, afraid to speak against the culture and traditions of Amir's family. But this man Amir works with, Eric, is empathetic to his situation, and is willing to give Amir advice and help whenever he needs it.
Why does the team matter to you?
Amir has had a crush on one of the Team's girls from the moment he laid eyes on her. He is protective of her and jealous for her attention (and affection!). To be honest though, he also has a little bit of an eye for some of the other girls on the Team as well. This is one of the big reasons as to why he doesn't want to leave America, Amir wants to pursue his own romances and date a girl of his choosing, not marry a girl in another country who he barely knows.
