Reta Bigbad - End Girl |

Move to wounded stirge, jump, stomp! Repeat. Then later, put Chuffy's head underwater for as long as armor is there.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Stomp!: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 damage: 1d2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 or not...

GM Crucible |

The stirges are surprisingly difficult to hit, and Reta's stop misses as the insectoid swamp creature dodges on its tether.
Chuffy again attempts to push Reta off of the planks, and is again comically and spectacularly unsuccessful.
Poog, mired on the mud looks on in frustration. I'll still accept an action, but no more points for poor Poog.

GM Crucible |

Moggy burns one stirge, and damages another (-3).
"2 points for Mogmurch" screeches the all-to-familiar voice.

Mogmurch da goblin |

Moggy moves two squares to the right staying close to the water's edge. This time he throws an alchemist's fire between the two wounded stirges that he has bombed so far.
RTA 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Damage 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6, but they will only take splash damage.
If I miss and happen to inure Reta, I will happily give her a CLW potion, as I don't want to chance any PVP. I just want to try and kill those stirges!

GM Crucible |

Hmm... The ground is 10' below the posts, so a 5' splash from the targeted intersection would still be 5' below the posts ... but the stirges are on a 5' tether, which I've always assumed to be in the most advantageous square for the attacking player, so although it's a bit of a stretch, I'll rule they *are* in range for splash damage.
The two stirges each get hit with a splash of alchemist's fire (-3), and die, burning.
Reta is definitely out of range, and not affected.
"Four more points to Mogmurch! The rest of you louts need to be more chieftain-like!" Mummy Sprattleharsh's voice is clear from across the swamp.

Chuffy proves that with enough tenacity, most anything is possible. The heretofore indomitable Reta lets her defenses slip, and Chuffy takes advantage, bull rushing her off the edge of the platform.
DC 20 Reflex to Reta to catch herself on the near post, otherwise she falls *splat* in the mud.
Non-lethal falling dmg: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Poog of Zarongel - The_Lake |

Poog sits on the ground for awhile before he has a thought. He stands up and lifts both of his stubby arms in the air.
Friends! Gobbos! Do you want a chief who stomps bugs real good? They probably do. Or do you want FIRE!
As he shouts the last words Poog casts burning hands and shoots a 15ft cone of fire into the air.

GM Crucible |

Doh! So close! Well, at least now Chuffy won't be stepping on your fingers.
Reta falls with a splat, getting mud in her eyes and in her veil. Fortunately, her armor is nearby, so she collects it and tries to suppress thoughts of smothering Chuffy with it.
Although he has been quite effective at killing stirges, Moggy has yet to step foot on the planks. He and the others are a bit surprised to hear the voice of Mummy Sprattleharsh across the swamp. "Last goblin standing! Five points to Chuffy! Challenge is finished."
--POINTS--
Chuffy – 9
Moggy – 11
Poog – 3

Mogmurch da goblin |

Moggy considers throwing a bomb at Mummy Sprattleharsh, but refrains from doing so.
"Any more challenges? Moggy am on roll now! Poog and Reta all wet, and Chuffy am still weak!"

GM Crucible |

For the last dare, Wise Mummy Sprattleharsh leads the chieftains-in-waiting back toward the Birdcruncher cave. The stink of rotten meat and spoiled milk emanates from a horrific “pie” that’s been created in a 10-foot-diameter bowl-shaped depression in the rock—the bowl is only 18 inches deep, but filled with a nasty, not-quite-boiling-hot slurry of spoiled milk, mud, swamp water, mashed-up grass, and dead birds. The top is covered over with an incongruously delicious- and flaky- looking pie crust.
"Birdmeat pie is good. Birdmeat pie also great place for Chieftain battle."
While wearing their full gear, each goblin is tied up and thrown in the boiling pie.
"First goblin out makes 10 points. Second earns 5 points. Third earns 3 points. No points for rotten egg last goblin. But, if you stay in pie longer, you can kill eagles for 5 points!"
Four golden eagles with clipped wings are thrown into the pie with the four contestants.
To clarify, no points for killing an eagle after you climb out of the pie.
All goblins and eagles are adjacent in the tiny pie. Everyone is treated as "squeezing" (-4 to hit, -4 AC) due to the small confines.
Strength checks or Escape Artist to get free as Standard action. Climbing out is a move action.
Chuffy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Mogmurch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

Uhhh, no she doesn't. She comes up out of the mud clawing and shrieking like the mad thing she is! Then, like a summer storm, the tempest passes and she becomes quiet and still.

GM Crucible |

Okay, so no suppressing thoughts of smothering Chuffy. Check. <evil grin>

GM Crucible |

Chuffy struggles and is unsuccessful, as the broth begins to steam around him.
In the interest of speed, everyone go ahead and post while everyone is still tied up. When it starts to matter, we can shift to initiative order again. Either way, I'll still resolve in initiative order.

None of our heroes manage to free themselves from their bonds. The watching goblins cheer derisively as the four bound goblins struggle.
The eagles peck and thrash, and each of you is targeted.
Because you're squeezing, there is a -4 penalty to attack rolls and a -4 penalty to AC. This comes out as a wash, so I ignore it below.

He then chops one of the eagles down, before exploding from the pie, its limp body in his hand.

GM Crucible |

@Chuffy: Please update your forum tag statblock to the level 3 goblin pregens ... I've been basing the AC and Fort saves off of that, but it seems those are still the Level 1 stats...
Chuffy draws his Dogslicer in preparation for his attacks. (round 2 move; I'll arbitrate the attack in round 3)
Calling upon The Great Burningness, Poog bursts his bonds in a show of strength.

Chuffy swings his dogslicer. The quarters are cramped, but he cleaves the eagle in two. Its blood mixes with the pie filling as he raises the carcass triumphantly over his head. "Five points to Chuffy! yells Mummy Sprattleharsh.
Did your action description mean you intend to leave the pie, Chuffy?
Poog, emboldened by bursting his bonds again calls on the might of Zarongel. Negative energy flashes as he touches an eagle, and it falls limp into the morass of meat and blood and rancid milk. "Five points to Poog! calls Mummy Sprattleharsh.
