Venture-Captain Bakten Shengrah
A flurry of cherry blossoms paints the air above the Sanctuary of the Unbound Knot. A chill wind brings the last gasps of winter down from the Zi Ha Mountains, which legends claim to be the cradle of samsaran civilization. Now, in New Oppara, one of their living legends lies dying within his sanctuary. Soon, the sages say, Bakten Shengrah is to transcend to the Great Beyond, taking with him all the wisdom of twelve lifetimes and two millennia of lore beheld firsthand. For Pathfinders, an audience with the reclusive Bakten is a privilege indeed. As the gust of wind subsides, a gray rabbit quietly lopes down the sanctuary steps and across the courtyard.
When the rabbit reaches the PCs, its face elongates to a human girl’s. “Walk-lookers! You! Now! Come! Bakten, friend, good news, dying soon. But woe! Worry and fear. A veiled life. Come!” She says.

The dwarf in your company, wearing no armor and carrying a bow and quiver of arrows, merely glances at you as the creature addresses the party. Shrugging his shoulders, the dwarf seems intent on following.

A well-dressed gnome, heavily tattooed and smelling of musk, juts his chin at the rabbit. He flexes thick muscles, stretches his neck and snorts.
"Hey-yo! Whadda we gots here? A lil' fluffy bunny, eh?"
He presses his thumb to his nose, sniffs and shrugs.
"So, uh, I guess we's followin' it or somethin', right?"
Swinging his heavy hammer onto his shoulder, Balzanno takes a couple steps towards the rabbit.
"So, uh.. whaddya guys make of 'dis veiled life 'ting?"

Seeing the speaking rabbit, Malachite nods gravely. He has seen many strange things in his journeys and this is not listed as chief among them, at least so far. Seeing that the rest of his erstwhile companions intend to follow the rabbit messenger, Mal moves along with them, his stony and craggy skin making a slight grinding sound as he walks along.

The earthen floor of this tranquil courtyard is perfectly flat and clear of debris. A 20-foot-diameter circle occupies the center of the courtyard, filled with a sand painting depicting intricate, endless knotwork. To the southeast, four fir trees grow in an orderly row, and to the southwest, a small rock garden peeks out from behind a layer of tall bushes.
Please give me a perception check everyone. Also if everyone can make sure they get a status bar up like Malachite please.

Sifvery agrees to use Xan-Tei's wand on him. Seeing Xan-Tei taking a precaution, Sifvery thinks "Why not?" and casts Mage Armor (spell, not wand) on herself.

Looking around, Malachite breathes deeply trying to center his mind, and concentrate on the task at hand. The place looks like a monastery or temple of some kind, but he focuses his mind using his training to look not at what he can see, but at what he cannot.

Sifvery notices the ninjas on the roof. Soon there after the old, samsaran, man in the courtyard casts a spell. Two Ninjas, that you didn't see, fall from a roof and land unconscious in the courtyard.

Seeing the ninja's fell the Samsaran man who he assumes is the venerable one they are here to see, Malachite reacts with force against the interlopers. Rushing forward against those on the ground, he pulls his javelin from its mooring on his back and launches it at one of the ninjas.

She moves forward and fires an arrow at the one in green.

After Sifvery fires at the Green Ninja, Mal closes with him, rapidly scraping his rocky and jagged flesh along the skin of the ninja in a flurry of unarmed blows, causing any wounds to bleed after the initial injury.

"No, not right 'dis second, but I'm havin' a hard time tellin' which of these neen'jas is alive, dead, onna ground or onna roof!"
The gnome squints at the blue ninja.
"Dat one looks like it's in Balzy-range!"
Hustling over, Balzanno swings his 'earthbrakker' at the ninja.

Balzanno shrugs at the two ninjas as they drop at his feet, jutting his chin at the numerous arrows perforating their bodies.
"Yea, dat's whatchoo get fa' tryin' ta flank the gee-nome!"
Squinting at the ninja on the roof, he waves it away like he can't be bothered.
"Ahh, dat guy's gettin' shot down any moment, ammi-right Xan n' Sif?"

Seeing the others start to pepper the lone assassin with arrows, Malachite moves forward as quickly as he can, trying to get behind the ninja before it can retreat to safety. He makes it about half-way up the stairs, then looks for a means to get on the roof.
Double move. Not sure how, if possible, to get within melee or subdual damage of this remaining foe.

Balzanno swears under his breath for not buying a bow at this stage in his career.
He begins rummaging through the fallen ninja's possessions, looking for shuriken, a blowgun or something he might employ to the roof-ninja should he survive another rain of arrows from his allies.
