Position Priscilla

Up 1, Down 2

Grand Lodge

You have a long and tiring walk. The speed isn't fast though.

You hear Priscilla chatting with the different members of the group.

Alik is a female guard. She walks on the left side of the cart - seldom far from Camon. She is a hired sword and the first time on this trip.

Jandri seems mainly concerned for the wagon and the horse - named Anka. He is not very talkative and seems slightly nervous.

Kazrin walks on the opposite site of Alik. He is a male mercenary.

Camon is a halfling. He seems to move in mood from talking a lot to being shy. He seems not to carry any weapon. He seems to avoid Chelsea but is friendly to Priscilla.

You slowly eat the miles and dust from the road. But this isn't taking away from the senses of Gregor and Chanix. Ahead of them they spot some earth in the road that seems recently disturbed.

A gruesome looking creature suddenly steps up. Earth is covering it - but it can't cover it's open rip cage that you are able to look through. This skeleton once must have belonged to a bugbear. So while you expected trouble with goblinoids - this wasn't necessarily what you expected.

Grand Lodge

Suprise round:

Bugbear - standing up

Gregor and Chanix to act before round 1 (and the bugbear first)

I have generated a new Picasa Album

I'm not sure I remembered all the iconic characters I used. So please remind me if you want to switch. You should recognize where you are from the position.

Priscilla is the Gnome with the green hair. Chatting with the halfling.

I will do the door sight after the fight. Enough for the moment I guess.

"What is that ugly thing?? Is it somethin's skeleton??!" Toren looks back at the driver, "Yeh may want to stop whilst we takes care o' this nasty!"

Yelling at the rest of the group, "I'll stay here and guard the caravan!"

Chanix rushes forward.

His mace misses the on rushing skeleton. His dagger finds the target but seems to do no damage at all.

Markus seems to have more luck. With a mighty swing he crushes the skull of one of he skeletons who sinks to the floor.

Toren rushes forward but the skeleton seems not give way. At least his attempt unbalances the beast enough to have it flail widely and not on target.

AoO: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Attack Chelsea: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Attack guard: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

But both skeletons appear disoriented and fail.

Toren, even with hatred it wasn't enough. Chanix - I didn't see any minus for two weapon fighting. I don't think you even have TWF. And the dagger damage should be D4 +1.

Grand Lodge

The halfling takes the stone from Priscilla - unsure what to do with it.

Chelsea and Gregor still to act.

Chelsea - you might have problems with casting and AoO as you can't step back (wagon in the way) and sideways isn't getting you out of range. There is always casting defensively.

Indeed - this undead attack seems not to have been in the briefing and it seems quiet unusual to see undeads tha well organized - on the other hand - you never actually got any information who or what attacked the caravans.
It seems this information was not available to Guaril.
