Skerdo flails and scores minor wounds on the creature though it shrugs it off.

Tsafento's carefully aimed shot strikes true to embed itself in the creature's flesh but it ignores the shaft!

Teloish's decision to waylay the stupid beasts is proved right as one of the beasts ambles in, an attempt to strike Skerdo but gets its head caved in.............

The remaining beasts attempts to attack Skerdo once more but would it be able to strike?

Finding the walls hard to get good aim at the Dretch, Teloish tried once again to attack the remaining one. Waiting for the right time, the demon had tried to avoid one of the attacks from his allies when it got careless, getting hit in the process.

Power Attack: 20 + 3 - 4 = 191d10 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Confirm: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 3 - 4 = 142d10 + 14 ⇒ (10, 2) + 14 = 26
5' step to the corner, -4 taken for the cover. Nat 20 and confirms with a 14 for 38 damage. 12 if it does not confirm.

Tsafento fires a ray that although doesn't​ do any harm to the creature catches its attention allowing Skerdo to batter it with a series of well timed blows.
Their efforts would have come to naught as the beast shrugs off their blows with minimal effort. Turning around it grins, a permanent feature as Teloish's blade catches it unguarded and widens it's throat clean.

The following items are mixed among the wreckage of the vaults: brooch of shielding (30 charges), potion of enlarge person, screaming bolt, wand of shocking grasp (50 charges), and a gold necklace worth 300 gp.

A quick search of the place turns up little to no value other then a small stash, the creatures must have hoarded.

With the dretches now defeated, it is safe for Gandros to return home which he wishes to do. He is firmly entrenched in his delusions regardless of what the party tells him.
He magnanimously grants the party anything they want from among the remains of the Emporium basement. Not caring it seems of what they may take........

Venture-Captain Caudron Wallace is more relieved than disappointed that there is no otherworldly portal in the sewers, but mostly self-satisfied that the whole thing was a waste of his time as he predicted.

He reports everything back to VC Wallace and, unless the venture captain has anything more for him to work on, prepares to return to Absalom.
