About Tsafento

Tsafento (Sorcerer, Efreeti bloodline)
Tsafento is a Osirion bronze-smith who now calls the city of Absalom home. He has recently discovered his efreet blood, dilute though it is, and wants to trade the monotony of an artisan's life for excitement and adventure. Even if it is more dangerous than working with bronze.

Early Life of Tsafento:

Tsafento is a bronze-smith from the Osirion city of Ipeq. Tsafento never took the tales of Ipeq being built in a day by djinn and efreet seriously. Until a heated argument revealed he actually has traces of efreet blood in his own veins.

Tsafento's parents are modest, but prosperous, bronze-smiths. Tsafento apprenticed under his father, as his older brother and sister had. His first commission was to make a decorative bronze scroll box for Krejgib, a merchant from nearby Katapesh who is devious and unscrupulous to the extreme. While Tsafento was delivering the scroll box, he was arrested by the authorities because Krejgib accused him of stealing it from him! Not only did Krejgib get a free scroll box by duping the authorities, Tsafento was imprisoned for theft.

Tsafento was released after several weeks, only because Krejgib was nowhere to be found. His inherent distrust of authority stems from this imprisonment.

Some months later, Tsafento bumped into Krejgib. An angry exchange between Tsafento and Krejgib was inevitable. Krejgib had the cheek to demand more free bronze work! Tsafento launched into a furious tirade, with unexpected results. Tsafento jabbed an accusing finger at Krejgib to emphasize something quite rude, when a gout of fire erupted from Tsafento's fingers into Krejgib's face!

During the ruckus caused by Krejgib screaming, Tsafento slipped out of Ipeq aboard a small merchant ship bound for Sothis, to avoid the dodgy justice of Ipeq. Tsafento eventually found work as a bronze-smith in the Coins district in the city of Absalom and eventually joined the Dark Archives faction while.

At first glance, Tsafento is an aloof young man, with his head shaved in the Osirion fashion. He acts introverted, although he is not. He is usually calm, but his temper can get the better of him. Especially if he is falsely accused of something.

He feigns being inept or unskilled around those he does not trust. So that potential enemies will underestimate him.

He is glib with friends about his distrust of law and order, after his own experience with the prison of Ipeq.

He is a bit slow to befriend people. But he is fiercely loyal to the friends he does make.
