Do we know anything about "Corners of Spheres"?
It's really hard to tell. Because she gives information in a highly subjective manner, it's challenging to know what details are vital. At minimum, the creatures you've encountered thus far are nightmare beings. Thus it is probably reasonable to presume that you'll deal with things that (1) have no concept of life and death and (2) are somewhat nonsensical in the way that only dreams can be.

Harrow is glad things haven't been worse, and takes the lead, as usual.
"Harrow not like this place. If we hurry, home in time for dinner," he says.
Me in front (with Husarq, if he's here), then Berosius, then others to the rear?

Fungal, aberrant, and alien creatures swarm through a vast sea of green mist. Several stony islands emerge from the sea, their forms wavering fluidly. Bridges made from floating collections of stony fragments tie the islands together.
Here, the fabric of space wavers, giving rise to several properties. First, teleportation effects cannot transport creatures farther than 30 feet—if they otherwise would, they instead move the creature 30 feet in its intended direction. Second, the combination of mist and warped space reduces visibility to 60 feet. Anything beyond this distance appears as vague and distorted shapes.
The air suddenly ripples and roils. Empty eyes and twitching tendrils manifest from the distortions, and an alien voice echoes through the mist.
"Almost time, beacons lit and copper melted. We are Corners of Spheres, we are one who are many. Will your unenlightenment leave your cage-world unharvested? We thirst for its thoughts, a million thousandfold minds woven one through our warping way. The time is now. Inspiration's harvest is at hand. Let your thoughts be woven into the void."
If you wish, you may attempt a will save here.
In the distance (behind you) you see a faintly draconic shadow.

![]() |

Looking back, she notices the draconic shadow
Look! A dragon shadow. THat reminds of the time that I killed a white dragon in Irrisen and a golden dragon, not a gold dragon, but a dragon made of gold, on a sinking island. he says/

Berosius Will save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
"I don't like all this talk of harvests," says Berosius, trying to perceive Corner-of-Spheres.

![]() |

Sorry to be absent for a while. I'm back!
Me in front (with Husarq, if he's here), then Berosius, then others to the rear?
Husarq is not with us.
If possible, before entering this place, Mareq casts Protection from Evil.

![]() |

Harrow lets the others speak, not liking what he's hearing. Not liking it, because frankly he doesn't understand most of what the voice said.
He hefts his weapon, prepared to strike, if necessary.

![]() |

Without warning, the ground ripples, and from somewhere in the mist something lets out an unearthly cacophony of clicks, taps, and screeches. "Oh, Mareq," the voice says ominously, "how do you add the sand to breathe?" Mareq realizes that he never introduced himself.
The voice's nonsensical speech is meant to convey its wholly "alien" thought process.

![]() |

"Geometrically Anomalous, how does the blue sequence the mist?" responds Mareq. "Miles land reversing, yet dragons' bottled sound sprays liquid night, says the Blackness."

Sand to breathe?
Harrow scratches his head, not sure if he should be swinging his weapon, or not.

Well, I'd prefer it be something I'm actually good at, but... OK. LOL. ;-) I was kinda going for, "I speak your wacky language, too."

Out of the mist, the party can see three creatures. Two of them (red and blue) are swollen, brainlike bulbs encrusted with fungal shelves squating atop several ropy legs. A wide mouth bisects the bulb’s crown. The third one (yellow) seems to change shape every few seconds.

Mareq already rolled the Will save at your earlier request. And auto-succeeded with a 20. Unless that earlier roll was for a different Will save?

Correct. The previous Will save was to prevent them from detecting your thoughts. Now, the will save is vs the nightmarish shrieking.

Nope

The shrieking feels like it pierces your brains and reality seems to swim and alter before your eyes. Up becomes left and right becomes backwards. All sounds suddenly feel salty-sour.
1d4 ⇒ 3
Unfortunately for Mareq, this constantly shifting nightmare-like scene disturbs him so much that he's nauseated for the next three rounds.

The bard will begin an inspirational song to boost her new friends.

Mareq and Harrow are up next. Mareq is nauseated.

Mareq moves to the edge of the platform and vomits over the edge.
"BLERGH!"
Just for fun and drama... (this description is not in the scenario)
As Mareq leans over the edge, unbeknownst to him, another nightmarish creature is crawling up the side to catch the party unawares. It is positioned directly beneath him!
However, Mareq put extra olive oil on his salad earlier, and his vomit is particularly slippery.
*pantomimes rolling dice*
The nightmare creature rolls a nat 1 on its climb check and falls into the depths.

Harrow smacks one of the plant creatures hard. However, it remains standing. Deciding that what's good for the goose is also good for the gander, the half-orc begins screaming, too!

Cast PRAYER. (You and each of your allies gain a +1 luck bonus on attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saves, and skill checks, while each of your foes takes a -1 penalty on such rolls.)

She does not tend to hit too often with her glaive, but when she does she takes out big things, like a white dragon and the dragon with gold in the Sinking City module, lol
