The last opponent defeated, Aetherys sheathes Dawnblade and makes a priority of helping Telendrak out of the dreaful cairn.

I hope he will eventually recover from this ordeal.

I bet his mind is gone forever, Tess thinks ruefully as they evacuate the area.

The party emerges from the dark prison below, holding the shadow obelisk. As soon as they see daylight, the passageway out of the barrow seals and becomes a flat sheet of obsidian. The shadow obelisk itself dissolves, into black, caustic smoke, and disappears.

Congratulations, you've prevented the shadow obelisk from falling into the hands of the onyx alliance, and sealed the demiplane of the Cairn of Shadows forever.
